Leonidas Chocolates

I had a 5/5 visit a few weeks ago and on a whim decided to stop for the same parfait again and was quite disappointed when just a light drizzle of chocolate was added to the top. The chocolate is what makes this parfait as good as it is. Maybe it was unintended, but for the price paid I expected more.

Went today for some ice cream and treats. The lovely young lady working was super patient with my two children as they decided and asked questions. As we were leaving I decided to get an iced coffee which I forgot, I visited my family near by for over half an hour and figured I’d see if it was still there after. That sweet human not only kept it for me but put it in the fridge. It’s a small thing, but to me it was huge. Thank you so much.

The staff are always super kind and it will forever be my favourite ice cream place I beg everyone I know to go with me to get ice cream there anytime of year

Kind of pricey but that's what you get for a specialty shop I figured but it was good

Great spot for cones dipped in delicious chocolate. Highly recommend the 90% dark chocolate.

Great chocolates and fantastic ice cream. A bit expensive but anything of this quality is worth it.

Very good ice cream, make sure you get it in a cup though because a cone is very messy. Most people go here for the ice cream but the chocolate is also very good

Thickest dipped cones EVER! Like eating a chocolate bar and and ice cream. Regular size was plenty.

I had the dipped soft serve with my family, we loved the variety of chocolate dips with the regular milk chocolate plus 70% chocolate, hazelnut, raspberry, orange, white chocolate.

My feedback is that you don't allow for tips on credit card payments. That really bothers me because I see 15 cents in the tip jar. I think your staff deserve tips, and you need to be set up for adding them by card. I actually avoid going to places where I don't have this option as I find if embarrassing not to have change and to be able to tip!

Ice cream was awesome. The dips are delicious. Lots of choices! Wicked messy.get some extra napkins.lol

If you love thick real Belgium chocolate with the most delicious ice cream.you must try this.it is outstanding.indulgent.

I am absolutely obsessed with the vanilla soft serve dipped in milk chocolate ️ it is delicious.the only downside is that I live SO close to the store, so I stop in way more than my bank account would like yes the chocolate dip is thick but because it is such good quality chocolate, it is totally worth it and it is absolutely worth every penny when you take into account the quality of the products! I am a creature of habit, so I don't stray too far from my normal order but I definitely want to try some other things! I'm a fan!

Chocolate goodies are great tasting but the young staff member needs to be more attentive (maybe had a long day)

I go here regularly with a friend bc it's consistently good for the specific items we like. My favorite is the crunchy hazelnut dipped cone (vanilla soft serve) bc it's got the flavor and texture that I love. (Not too sweet, can be messy, but just yum). His is the raspberry sorbet soft serve cone, bc it is tart and bursting with flavor. The pistachio dip had almost no flavor, sadly. The salted caramel is delicious, though. Expect about $12 for two people to get ice cream.

Atmosphere: small place that ideally just fits a few people, but that's fine. While waiting in line to order, it's a great time to look at the selection of various pre-packaged chocolates (eg bars, eggs, etc) and then a display of individual treats (eg single flavored chocolates, truffles, marzipan pieces, etc). Two small white plastic tables if you want to eat inside, which we prefer to do, if we can get one of the tables. Couple of benches outside are good if you want to eat outside. Adequate free parking spaces in this strip mall.

Yummy! Such a delicious soft serve ice cream. Highly recommend. The chocolate is so amazing.loved the dark chocolate.

Love the icecream but it was really thick and hard to eat with all that chocolate, really good though, I got some chocolate orange dipped icecream!

I have always drove by this place but have never been inside. The ice cream is amazing and there is so many different kinds of flavours you can do for dipping the ice cream. Price is really good and definitely inexpensive compared to other ice cream locations in the city. Will be back for sure!

Stopped by this evening out of curiosity after driving by this shop for months. First of all, the two young ladies at the counter were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I tried the dipped ice cream cones. I had the 70% dark chocolate and she had the maple dipped cones. They were absolutely delicious! The chocolates looked decadent! Looking forward to going back for a Belgian Waffle next time. Highly recommended for a nice treat. Good to see a steady stream of customers coming to the shop too.

The young ladies working on nov 21 clearly are in desperate need of a supervisor. We ordered a small milk hot chocolate and a small mocha and we waited for about 10 or 15 minutes while the workers chatted with an off-duty coworker who came in to buy a milkshake. We were told to move over to accommodate their friend, who was then served her milkshake despite having come into the store several minutes after us. Then one of the workers gave us our drinks in the wrong cups.

The wait along with how we were treated made us never want to come back.high quality drinks, but hard to enjoy when you’re made to feel like a burden.

This is the best place in Dartmouth to get ice cream we go here in a regular basis if we go longer than a month without coming back the world has ended. Great service, great price, great ice cream equals happy customers

The Belgian chocolate dip was absolutely a delight! Generous portion size! Excellent customer service.

The most mouth watering chocolate dipped or drizzled over your choice of ice cream. Salted caramel chocolate over vanilla ice cream was delicious. I stole a few strawberries from my boyfriends ice cream and added them on to mine and it made it even better. Delicious. So many varieties of ice creams, chocolates and treats to choose from

It's too good. Especially their maple flavored dip. Quite pricey, but you get what you pay for. Cones are a better deal than sundaes.

I haven't tried the chocolates from this place but I did have a dipped ice cream cone. I was very underwhelmed by the quality of the ice cream. The chocolate coating was decent but what's the point of putting expensive chocolate on cheap icecream in a cheap cone?

Highly reccomend you go here for your next ice cream treat! The dipped cones are something out of this world! Takes dq to a whole new level

This ice cream is to die for. I used to live down the road. It's probably good I'm not close enough to visit all the time. The ice cream is creamy, (real! None of that ice milk!) The chocolate dip is incredibly thick and rich. It's pricey but the quality I second to none and absolutely worth it. My only complaint is there is no mint chocolate dip, but that's a personal preference. I will continue to visit, you can't go wrong with any of their chocolate.

So much chocolate tried the salted caramel dipped cone and the dip is amazing - I don't think the cone or the ice cream (but especially the cone) do it justice though, so I definitely recommend at least getting some better cones to bring it to the next level Also, was hoping that the person at the counter would have been a bit more helpful especially being our first time, but definitely would recommend!

Amazing ice cream. Their taste is very European, meaning you could there even in winter and still enjoy it.

Delicious! Creamy creamy soft ice cream with a melted Belgian chocolate over it! Chose the Rasberry flavour and the flavour lightly added to the chocolate. Heavenly! The chocolate is so thickly coating the ice cream. Amazing! Worth every penny.
Service was great! Very covid safe!

Oh my god. The icecream and the options to dip your icecream in is so tasty! The store is small but the treats are amazing and unique. At least go and try the icecream!
