Robbery very sad I won't mention who but, it is very sad to charge close to 400$ for color, trim, blow-dry, curl I know it's Christmas and you need to make money but this is wrong

If I could give no stars I would but I can't. I called to make an appointment with my favorite esthetician only to find they had been let go unexpectedly. And now I have no way to contact them.

Super happy with my visit here for my birthday. Jenna was lovely and I love my pedicure. The chairs here are amazing! I was close to falling asleep! The little extras they do here really make all the difference. I've never been offered a heating pad for my neck or a blanket during a pedicure! Everyone made sure I felt welcome and I left feeling pampered which is generally what we all want when we go for a spa day. I'll definitely be back.

I decided to go here based on a friend's recommendation for your sister salon in Bedford. I had been going to another salon but after an overpriced horrible haircut, needed a change. Service from the time I walked in the door was great. Quinn was my stylist and did an amazing job. Highly recommend this salon. A+ all around

Lisa is an excellent RMT! I would choose her over any other I’ve ever had. Knows exactly what she’s doing! Always a good day when I get to have an appointment with her.

February 24th, ‘22 - Zoe was professional and polite and cared about my pain and comfort levels during my deep tissue massage. She suggested a specific kneading technic I’ve not had previously from a massage, anywhere, and even surprised me with a foot soak & rub. Added bonuses!
Mel, the hostess was most courteous to let Zoe know I would arrive a few minutes late, and later helped recommend some products for me as a surprise for my fiancé.
Thank-you, Zoe and Mel, and Life Salon Spa, I shall return soon!
March 10th, ‘22 - Zoe once again was able to work on my problem areas. Feeling much better now, since a small injury a few weeks ago had hurt my back. Looking forward to continuing my back & legs maintenance with her.
August 3rd, ‘22 - Alisha was pleasant to chat with, while listening and focusing on my key problem areas during the massage. Ahead of the appointment, Juliana provided knowledgeable service in helping me to select some Aveda products for my skin. Ladies, I thank you both kindly for your professionalism and excellent service today, and I shall be back again soon!
January 11, ‘23 - Once again, Alicia was able to understand my needs by focusing on my problem areas, and was able to adjust the pressure as needed, wherever necessary or where I pointed out. I look forward to booking a follow up appointment with her. Thank-you, Alicia, and Life Salon Spa. See you again soon!
March 8th, ‘23 - Alicia provided exceptional service with my massage, once again, listening to any problem areas I may have had, and she even provided further product knowledge information for me to help me make a purchase. See you at the end of the month for my next appointment, Alicia!
March 15th, ‘23 - Amie was knowledgeable and professional and answered my questions while easing my concerns about spray tans. The colour got darker into the evening, as I was advised, but not too dark. I've received numerous compliments on my colour so far and it’s holding well:)
Great job with my first spray tan, Amie! I shall book again ahead of my destination wedding in April in the Dominican Republic, so I will be wedding & vacation ready!
09/11/23 - Excellent focus on the trouble areas during my massage. Emily was wonderful for my first massage from her! Looking forward to my next appointment in a few weeks time. Once again, great service from everyone at Life Salon Spa.

I usually book with Amanda who had a full schedule but I was able to get in with Sadie and had a wonderful experience. She has a very sweet personality and was attentive to my needs. She demonstrated excellent skills and her polish work is exceptional. Booked for next month!

Never have I been given infused water and a hot towel when waiting for the stylist before, that was fun. Then she was patient, kind, and understanding of my wild nearly 3yo child who was there for her first official haircut. She got the job done although it was difficult!

Absolutely the WORST hair cut, dye job, brow wax and customer service I have EVER received.
The girl who cut and dyed my hair, Julianna, was nice enough, but has NO clue how to cut or dye hair (and they were preparing to give her a student to train!). I ended up with an absolute HACK job. Sides 3 inches shorter than the back, when it was meant to be matching in length. HORRIBLY hacked chunk layers. The blending of the dye is terrible, it was meant to blend the length to my roots, and parts that should have been dyed, never got touched with dye at all.
Honestly, I did better a better cut when I was 7 with craft scissors. And the lady who did my brows STUNK like cigarettes, it was gross. And she took WAY to much off rhe right brow, leaving me to have to paint it in for a while.
I called the salon, was refunded for the hair cut only (Honestly didn't tell them about the lady who did my brows, as my hair was THAT HORRIBLE)
When I talked to the Bedford location, The assistant director Tamika asked me to come in so they could have a stylist look at it, so I did.
Tamika (who has absolutely ZERO stylist training), and one of their LEVEL 1 stylists looked at it, and supposedly took pictures (I've asked for a copy 4 times now, only to be ignored). The OWNER was in the salon, and just a few feet away.but NEVER BOTHERED TO EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ME.
I've had 2 other MASTER STYLISTS from other salons look at it, and they both ended up in tears because the hack job was THAT BAD. Neither master stylist charged me for the consult, btw.
Life Salon gave me a level 1 stylist, and someone who knows nothing of hair, to look at it.with the owner RIGHT THERE IGNORING it all.
Oh, and full disclosure: they offered to have their level 1 stylist curl my hair a few times while waiting to have extensions put in for me (over the 7-10 days I'd have to wait for hair to come in) BUT the first time she did, she didn't even put any product in my hair to help hold the style.so it fell out within half an hour and looked hacked up once again.
I wanted my hair that had been grossly hacked off, replaced with extensions (NOT cut shorter, i already lost 3 inches.i wasnt about to lose 2-3 more due to their mistake), and they were seemingly agreeing to this. (I even have someone who was with me during a phone conversation, and heard Tamika agree to the extensions).
Then everything changed, they said they would sell me the hair at cost and fully charge me to put them in (Funny enough, they told me it's the OWNER who does the extensions). And I have to pay for the service, because they have to pay the stylist (owner). I mean, come on.
If their stylist in Dartmouth knew what she was doing, we wouldn't have been going through ANY of this. At all.
From that point on, Tamika was epiclly rude. I'll be honest, I eventually matched that.
Tamika eventually told me they would fix my hair, but I would have to agree to a gag order.
I think not
EVERYONE should know just exactly how bad this salon treated me. Not just the person who overheard the conversation between Tamika and myself.
Ive now (as of today) paid out $1000 to have my hair fixed. That's $1000 I wouldn't have had to spend, if Life Salon actually hired competent people.
A high end salon? I think not.
At least I know they have lost business because of this, and not just mine. 2 other 'regulars' I know have found other salons, and 4 other people I kmow who come 3 or 4 times a year for pedis will never return.
And I will NOT be silent about what happened to me.

Ali transformed my overgrown mop into a short textured crop that makes me look and feel confident. Absolutely thrilled with the result and I look forward to my next visit.
