The hospitality at Lightfoot & Wolfville is unmatched. Every element of our dinner blew away our expectations and the service was incredible. This is a venue you HAVE to visit. Run, don’t walk.

Gorgeous scenery, great wine, friendly informative staff, you can walk around the property with your drinks, we played a good game of washers while doing just that. Great visit!

My wife and I were visiting Nova Scotia from Manitoba in mid September 2023. For a time, we were in the Wolfville area of the Province where we booked a sparkling wine tour and tasting at the "Lighfoot & Wolfville" winnery. We arrived and were immediately warmly welcomed. Andrew was our tour guide. For the duration of the tour, Andrew was very friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel important. He explained the family owned business model, the vinyard, wine making processs and concluded with a tasting of various fine sparkling wines in the cellar (Magnificent). This included a small charcuterie board for each one of us. Let's be frank here, the sparking wines produced here are "Champagnes" in every sense. The quality of their products cannot be understated. If you are anywhere in the vicinity of Wolfville Nova Scotia, a stop at this winnery is a must. An experience to remember.

Great place, my fav was the Ancienne Wild fermented Chardonnay. Highly recommend if you are a Chardonnay lover! Loved sitting out back overlooking the vineyard.

Called in at the winery today and the food was incredible.

Had the oysters then the chowder and it was absolutely beautiful.

We enjoyed lunch and a couple of wine flights here on our way from Digby to Halifax, and couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Maddie (sp?) was an attentive, friendly and knowledgeable server, walking two Americans through the new-to-us Nova Scotia wine landscape and answering all of our questions. The cheese/charcuterie board was local and delicious, as was the tomato salad and their grilled cheese special. The wines (we tried a mix of whites, roses and bubbly) were surprisingly tasty - especially their Tidal Bay, which I am now hooked on and can't wait to share with friends back home. A beautiful property, great service and tasty wines/food - exactly what we look for in a winery experience!

We arrived from the bike trail, where the sign directed us up the hill. The site looked lovely but that was where it ended. We were looking for some wine and a few appetizers. There appeared to be many open seats and tables. We had to seek out assistance and were then directed to a hostess. She barely acknowledged us when we asked if she was the person to sit us. With much indignance, she said they would not be able to seat us for quite some time. They did not seem even a little bit interested in our money! I will NOT be back.

Amazing experience here celebrating our wedding anniversary. The location is stunning. The staff was beyond friendly and attentive. The food was incredible and I especially loved the clam pizza. The information that comes with the wine flight was very helpful. We will be back again. Thank you!

My wife and I showed up here and enjoyed the wine tasting and wood oven pizza. The views are amazing, the staff were friendly and helpful, we were seated at 2pm and by 3pm we had been served our pizza, two glasses of wine and had wandered through the vineyard. Highly recommend checking it out if your in the area.

Such a lovely place. My friends and I went recently and had Bre as our server. She was the best and truly made our experience at the vineyard better. She was so kind and personable, we loved her. We ordered the strawberry lemonade and sangria and they were both 10/10. Highly recommend and will be returning some time soon.

We visited Lightfoot and Wolfville when they opened at 11: 00 and had a wonderful visit. We learned so much about biodynamic farming and grapes, and really enjoyed the time we spent with Wynne, our host for the tasting. She made us feel so comfortable and at home!
When walking into the property from a nearby trail, we got to see some of the animals and plants growing on the fields which was also fun.

We didn’t stop at many wineries and were glad that Lightfoot and Wolfville was the one we spent time at.

Our first time here, definitely Worth the visit! Good food and excellent service and beautiful view. Highly recommended!

Cannot speak about the restaurant because we just did a tasting. Service was wonderful. The man taking care of us was funny and knowledgeable. Great wines.

Amazing views but if want food make a reservation in advance. Walk ins are not guaranteed, with staff encouraging you to wait and spend money without any food service.

Pizza was great, asparagus crab salad was not, carpaccio was decent, chowder was sooo salty and skimpy on infredients (skip it) atmosphere was great

Service was bad some taf need more people skills left feeling like bad person

Don't skip this place when touring wineries near the Bay of Fundy! We went for lunch and it was 10/10.

Came here after proposing to my partner and I reached out to them ahead of time. They were extremely accommodating and even went as far as arranging to be my rain contingency proposal plan. Cant say enough kind things about the staff!
The food was equally as perfect! The oysters were fresh, crab salad was unique and flavourful and the mushroom and leek pizza was a 10/10. Highly recommend if you're in the area!
