LIGHTHOUSE MOTEL & COTTAGES

I stayed here at a difficult time in my life and the owner was so kind and welcoming. He upgraded me at no charge and my stay was so comfortable and soothing. The grounds are beautiful and the setting is gorgeous! My room was stunning and your stay here will have you longing to return.

One of the best best hotel we wer in, during our trip to NS. The host, Mark was so kind an his dogs were so lovely. We enjoyed it very much.

Best experience I've had! Best decorated rooms and the kitchenette was a nice touch. I didn't want to leave! Definitely recommend staying here if you ever get the chance!

J'avais la chambre bohème et c'était décoré avec tellement de goût!
Il y avait aussi de petites attentions très appréciées: bouteilles en verre d'eau froide, machine a café, dosettes et lait (ou crème) pour le réveil.
C'est situé sur le bord de l'eau, pour la baignade ou la farniente sur le quai.
On y organise aussi des en ponton.

Suggestion to the owners: Change the name to Lighthouse Resort as it would be more fitted to what we've experienced. We will be coming back!

From booking to our stay, nothing was overlooked. We weren’t sure if our room was dog friendly as we booked online, and they got back to us right away to confirm that it was. When we arrived they settled us into our room, and even brought a doggy basket with dog towels, poop bags, and a dog dish (which they filled up with fresh water for our pup). We needed an ironing board/iron and they immediately offered to bring one down to our room. The hospitality was something special, and we will absolutely be back! Our room was so beautiful and clean and had everything we needed in it; the grounds were also incredibly tidy, well looked after and quiet. It was nice to walk down to the beach and dock, and have lots of outdoor space for our dog to roam with us:) Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Truly a gem of a spot. Took my mom there for a weekend away. The rooms and so nicely kept and Mark came out to welcome us and brought us right to our room. Comfy beds and pillows. The property is beautiful and since it was a rainy day I’ll definitely be going back to enjoy it more fully on a sunny summer day! So sweet to experience the hospitality of a roadside motel, like going back in time:)

Loves this spot. This motel was so nice and cute. Rooms were beautifully decorated. The owner was super friendly and nice. His dog was adorable. We loved sitting down at the deck during sunset. We were only passing by and spent one night but it was great. We were left alone and everything was quiet and peaceful. It was amazing. Thank you to the owners. We would highly recommend and we would stay again.

Un motel +. Nous sommes resté 2 nuits et avons été charmé par le terrain avec quai sur le fleuve, les chambres petites mais confortables et pittoresques, et surtout le service impeccable de notre hôte, en français en plus. Une belle expérience!

This is such a charming place to get away. The rooms are clean & charming. The property is beautiful, well kept with a great view on the river. The owners are very friendly. We stayed in the fall when the leaves were changing. We enjoyed nearby trails & towns with great history & shops.
