Didn't buy anything but Staff was very friendly and made us aware of the sales going on.

Good morning everyone. I was in this store located in MicMac Mall this morning while vacationing from Alberta and however anxious I was to shop in this beautiful store I couldn’t bring myself to stay. Let me explain. I thought I’d seen just about every unprofessional display possible, until I was one of many unfortunate people whom witnessed this utter display of stupidity and ignorance unleashed upon the employees of the company not to mention the customers whom were victim to this managers outburst. I certainly hope that the head office reviews these reports because if I were an employee of this store I would be speaking to a lawyer not to mention the psychological impact that this would inevitably have on anyone working in such a toxic environment. It’s unbelievable to think that this is an isolated incident. This manager had absolutely no regard for her customers nor the dignified practice treatment of the company’s employees. Which shows clearly that she must be comfortable treating her employees in this manor. Bringing her employees to tears, fear all over their faces and disbelief as I looked around. I would never support a company who would not reprimand anyone stringently for this type of display. I’m in shock and can’t stop thinking about what we all witnessed. She even screamed over the intercom that “whom ever doesn’t like how n what she says can take the door “ that’s when I did exactly that along with a couple other prospective customers.

Do not EVER order online for pick up in store.

What they do not tell you is that if even one of the items in your order is out of stock, they will not release any of the in-stock items to you. It has now been 3 WEEKS since I clicked “pick up in store within 2 hours! ” and still no order. Staff have not been understanding, nor were they willing to relay my feedback about the process. It was an annoyance at first but now it’s getting ridiculous.

Feel free to go in and browse. They have some nice items! But don’t expect to click and collect. And don’t expect customer service.

This was our first visit to the store. We were so pleased with the service. Everyone was so helpful. A staff member heard me say I just had to find my husband and we would be on our way. He found my husband for me. We will be back.

We bought an expresso machine on line (a rather expensive one) and once we used it for about a week, despite all the pre-research we had done prior to purchasing, we realized that this was not the right machine for us. For the price we paid for it, we couldn’t get the coffee we really liked and were disappointed by the machine.
Prior to ordering it, we had made sure (or so we thought!) that the Linen Chest return policy would allow us to bring it back and to get a full refund for a product we weren’t satisfied with. However, when we called the closest store to enquire if we could take it back directly to them, we were informed that since the machine had been used, we could only get a store credit.
It was a huge disappointment as we were now going to be looking at a store credit of over $1600 AND have to buy another coffee machine!

So we showed up to the store to return our machine and were helped through the process by the Store Manager, Jenn Benn.
She was understanding of our frustration and was really helpful in trying to help us find another coffee machine that we would like. Once we did, it wasn’t currently available anywhere but she really went over and above to try and get one for us.
I received a call from her yesterday (yes, she REALLY followed up and called us back!) and she confirmed that she was able to find one for us and that it would be hopefully delivered to our house within the next two weeks!

This is someone who really was intent on finding a solution for a customer and really put the time and effort to achieve that!
My husband and I were both so impressed with her general positive attitude, her great customer service skills and her determination to make us happy customers.we wanted to take the time to mention this because we are strong believers that, even though sometimes your expectations may not be met by a return policy or something else, great service by a competent and committed member of the company’s team can make a huge difference for the customer and save the day!

That’s exactly what Jenn did for us. She managed to turn a potentially unsatisfactory situation for us into a great experience and to our complete satisfaction.

She made a big difference for us and we are very thankful that she was there for us!

Staff very helpful, some items were on sale. Only one drape panel but she checked and Hfx had another panel and to be shipped to store. Found everything we wanted.

Ordered in store at the end of June, today I finally received the email saying order has been shipped.
People there mostly don’t solve problems, all he can say is “there’s nothing I can do “ and “ all the products on the shelf, find it by urself “ seriously, Anyone who wants to have a good shopping experience, pls do not choose this place.

Staff are so pushy - they take a lap around the store and come back to bother you every 3 minutes.

Not friendly at all, staff there really don't care if you come next time or not. I feel sad for the boss. Would not recommend to anyone whatever promotions they have.
And DO NOT BELIEVE their online reviews, your posts would not on it if you rate below 4 stars. And do not tell me is the time issue, I posted something last January and it is still not show up. So image why they have so many perfect reviews on almost everything.

Absolutely atrocious service from the corporate office after a product was bought at this store. The staff at this store were all polite and kind. The corporate office was a nightmare to deal with, and did not help fix anything. I purchased an item in a different province during the pandemic. The product was not in the store, so I paid for it to be shipped to my home address. It's now been over a month, and the product never arrived. I contacted Linen Chest several times, and was given incredibly little help.

I first requested the item to be shipped, and was told that they had run out of the product. The company never contacted me to let me know that the product had run out, just kept the money I had paid.

I then asked for a refund, and was told that the only way to do that was to return to the original store where the item was bought. This is in the middle of a pandemic, and I am currently unable to go to that store. I told them this, and they then changed their minds and said I could go to a store in my province. There is only one store in my province, which is an hour and a half away, and is currently having an outbreak, so that is not an option.

I requested a similar product to be sent, or store credit even, and was told all of those were non-options for the company.

I am incredibly frustrated with the horrendous service provided by this company, and would never recommend anyone purchase items from the company.

Beautiful store with lots of things that I like for my house. Staff are extremely helpful and very happy with price matching policy.

I have been in the Mic Mac Mall location twice in the last few months. The service was wonderful! I had my 78 year old mother with me and she tires easily.we were looking for bedspread ensembles on both trips.they brought her a chair to sit on and we shopped from that chair.they did the running and the suggesting of color matches once we decided on the spreads we wanted.the staff is courteous.the staff is knowledgeable.the staff is friendly.it was a wonderful experience!

Love this store and its merchandise, friendly staff, and easy parking at Mic Mac Mall, good prices. And then shop in the Mall afterwards

Check the out on the Better Business Bureau and how they address complaints of deposits being taken and product not received. They simply do not respond and ghost the customer while keeping their money.
