Very lovely place. Nick did a great job showing us around. Recommend to any fan of history.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Nick, our guide, was excellent. We learned a lot, had fun and loved his story telling.

Our guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable on the stories related to the house. He answered our questions and told us some very cool stories and facts about the house. It was a very interesting museum and I would recommend checking it out.

This place is a gem - a trove of historical objects and stories. The lovely lady on duty spent 1.5 hours going through the house with me and sharing insights and discussing items and implications (refreshingly more welcoming then the taciturn curmudgeon at the lovely Zoe Valle Memorial Library across the street). I highly recommend this stop in Chester!
