Burger with goat cheese - bland and underwhelming
Nachos - ok

Overall, we were disappointed. I tried the burger without any of the extra goat cheese and it had no taste.

Don’t go there if you are in your 20s and french.

My girlfriend and i had the worst experience. First of all i called to make sure they had place. The girl on the phone told us they were fully booked then when i looked on the website, all the reservations time were available so we decided to book and go because my girlfriend thought the place looked nice.

We arrived there, first of all the place was totally empty, second same girl on the phone asked for our IDs to eat? And tell us she only have table outside.

Bad luck my girlfriend had forgotten her IDs at the hotel, even if she had a picture of her ID and clearly don’t look underage, the girl didn’t want to find a solution.

Don’t know what was her problem, I hope not having us there made her day: D!

It was a really good diner, the food was amazing and the portions were really big. Beautiful restaurant and really good service. Nothing bad to say about Lot Six!

The food was fantastic, the portion was quite huge and the whole place is gorgeous.
Although it indicated in the menu that there might be cross contamination, I asked for gluten free and vegan (to avoid lactose) and they were so careful! Even brought the gluten free bun on a separate plate in case I was vegan and did not feel comfortable with eggs touching my food.
Honestly one of the best experiences I have had i a really long time eating out with a few food intolerances.
Could never say enough good things about it, it is just absolutely FANTASTIC!

Went here the other day for a birthday, they sat 6 of us at a table for 4, then when we asked if we could push another empty table over to ours, our waiter gestured to table nearby and said "at least you're not a group of 8 at a table for 4. " They said they were fully booked up with reservations (fair! But you should be able to seat people comfortably instead of squeezing larger groups together like this haha). The table that could seat 10-12 behind us remained empty for the whole 2: 30 hours we were there. The side salad tasted like it was about to go bad too: (oh also it was 10$ for the world's smallest lemon mousse. Slay.

Loved the vibe. The place is beautifully set up. We went for the brunch and it was delicious. We ordered eggs Benedict with salmon and the avocado croissant. The mimosa’s have a special place in our hearts now.
Would Definitely recommend.:)

My Fiancé and I had our wedding booked at Lot Six since December of 2021. What started out as a venue that we adored became a serious source of frustration and disappointment throughout the wedding planning process. Communication was severely lacking, with multiple unanswered emails and unreturned calls. The transition in management staff was not communicated to us, leaving us unaware of the changes while our calls and emails went ignored for MONTHS. Despite our patience and attempts to accommodate Lot Six's disorganization, there were constant last-minute changes and cancellations, causing significant inconvenience and stress.

We were unable to finalize any important details such as day-of logistics, menu options, cocktail options and more. Every attempt to organize a tasting turned into a game of cat and mouse with us constantly following up via email, phone, text and even Instagram dm’s and getting nowhere. After almost 2 months of back and fourth and just over 2 months to go till the wedding we settled on a date of their choosing that did not work great for us just to get it done, taking time off work from both of our jobs and making travel arrangements only for them to cancel on us a few hours prior. The chef was sick, however the restaurant was still open, the least they could have done was to invite us in for a few bites off the regular menu and to enjoy the space and get excited since we had travelled from out of town… instead we missed out on a special experience of tasting our menu together that we were really hoping would turn our experience with Lot Six in a positive direction. We were also told something was being “put in the mail” to make it up to us, however we’ve received nothing. We were also asked to let them know a time of our choosing to have a chat to make things right, however after multiple attempts on our part to propose times the same scenario of being ignored for days, no follow up or accountability occurred. We had to have family members show up to the restaurant and ask the GM to call us back. An hour or so later we got a text message from the GM.

Considering the significant investment that a wedding entails, it is unacceptable that couples big days should be compromised due to poor service, communication, and absolute lack of accountability. The treatment we received from Lot Six had us feeling like we were bothering them and that they did not want our business, the impression was that since our contract was signed under the old GM we weren’t a priority. For this reason, we cancelled our wedding at Lot Six only 7 weeks out from our wedding date. We had to change our date to the Friday, our venue, lost money in vendor deposits that could not make the switch, and had guests who could no longer make it. Despite the stress that this entails we could not stomach giving Lot Six our business at this point and we were not surprised to find out that we are not the only couple at our new venue who made the last minute switch due to terrible service from Lot Six. The GM did offer a variety of discounts and perks once we said we had a new venue, but by this point the trust was gone. Despite being told our deposit would be refunded promptly, it unsurprisingly took more than a full month of us pestering constantly to actually get our money back. Lot Six needs to address these issues promptly and provide the necessary resources, support, and attention to ensure a smooth and successful wedding process for all of their paying clients or they should stop booking weddings.

Lot Six had always been a favourite stop on our annual visits to Halifax. Our dinner tonight was delicious, as always and that fact is what had us forgiving the presence of a swarm of fruit flies around our table.
What we hadn’t expected was that we would be sharing the dining room with a mouse that scurried across the floor not once, but twice! When we brought these issues to the attention of our server all we got was a “thanks for letting us know. ”
Needless to say this visit will likely be our last anniversary dinner at Lot Six.

Made reservations for the atrium but was then seated in a different area and had to ask for the atrium. When we asked for the atrium we were told they would see if there were any open tables. The atrium was completely empty when we were seated and we were told we would have to be quick as there was a reservation coming up… 2 hours later. Server never took menus off the table. Cocktail was $4 more expensive than menu said it was. Were seated directly next to another couple when whole area was empty.

We had our wedding at Lot Six a few weeks ago.
The venue is beautiful, the food and cocktails were superb, and staff were a dream to deal with, most notably Will (the manager) and Chris (the chef).

An absolutely incredible venue for a wedding! The manager and all of the supporting staff at Lot Six went above and beyond to execute everything so flawlessly. They worked with us to create personalized details that we had in mind, and were very flexible and helpful leading up to the big day as well as on the day of. The food, drinks, and whole atmosphere were amazing. The atrium was a beautiful backdrop for both a ceremony and reception. All of our guests had an incredible time. I would recommend Lot Six for anyone looking for a place to have their wedding!

Service was disappointing. 3/4 of our drink orders were wrong. Over a 2 hour wait for a burger. They clearly forgot about it. When the food did show up it was very good. I will definitely try other places before going back.

I really want to go to lot six for my birthday but it seems like alot six doesn’t want me there. This review is about the customer service. I emailed them about a reservation 2 weeks ago and I’ve called everyday since then. I’ve also left my name and number each time but I haven’t heard back from the manager. Seriously lot six I’m just trying to have brunch and the manager won’t return my calls.

Menu & food quality has gone down ever since COVID-19. It has gotten more expensive with a worse menu (imo). The "Atrium" is a great spot for a romantic date or a special group event so definitely book there if you like the current menu. This isn't to say the food is bad but I don't go there nearly as often as i used to. If you are just interested in the bar the drinks are great.

Most unresponsive restaurant for event bookings. The manager is completely non-responsive and you can go a month without getting a call back on a major event.

Stopped in last evening and I’m so glad we did.

Right off the jump, we were treated so well. The staff are outstanding; friendly, engaging and knowledgeable.

It wasn’t long before we turned the decision making over to them and boy, they made it wonderful.

We started with fresh oysters, shared their Burger Week offering and picked items from the Dine Around menu, having a veritable smorgasbord of deliciousness.

The dessert, oh my, what a treat. Hats off to the pastry chef.

Completely impressed with the cocktails they crafted for us. There is a lot of beverage experience & knowledge, coupled with passion in spades.

We will be back!

Great place to chill with friends or take in a show, especially on the last Sunday of each month! The Queens put on an awesome show!
