Absolute delight! Food was excellent, spectacular view and great walk through the grapevines - visitors were blown away.

So sad to see this winery lose it’s character and allure. It was once a perfect way to spend an afternoon taking in the scenery, fresh air and overall dining experience - combination of winery meets England atmosphere. After spending nine years living in the UK this was a real treasure for us to come across when Pete opened in 2011. We were some of his first guests and have returned bringing visitors and family with us on many occasions. Unfortunately it has now taken a shift directing it’s focus on catering to the masses rather than nurturing that original and unique experience that Pete brought to the Wolfville area. The dining area now looks more like a cave - view obstructed and lost to the poor design. Dogs, a welcomed part of the family in the UK, are no longer welcome passing the blame along to ‘Health regulations’ although health regulations do not restrict on outdoor dining in Nova Scotia. The staff is dismissive and would be better suited at a fast food restaurant rather than a ‘destination dining experience’. Very sad to see. I cannot believe this is Pete’s doing. Maybe he has moved on. Do let us know what you are up to next Pete!

Delicious wines and a beautiful property but we felt a little underwhelmed by our experience. The tasting options seemed great with staff available but we didn’t opt for that this visit. We were popping in to try a glass of a particular wine. We were surprised when informed you could not sit outside or walk the vineyard with your glass of wine, I have never encountered this before. We decided to sit in the bistro but as staff passed by no one offered to seat us or acknowledge us so we walked out to the wine bar. We ordered our glasses of wine and were limited to sitting on bar stools at high tables. I really would have preferred a relaxing space or a nice view. I’m not sure the reasoning for not allowing patrons to enjoy the grounds or sit outside to sip but it really took away from the experience and we moved on very quickly. If broken glasses is a concern the wine shop sells cute patio glasses Im sure patrons would be happy to use! Hopefully something that will be considered in the future. I would return but with different expectations.

Loved how knowledgeable the staff was here and the wines were spectacular! Not to mention the view! Also the chicken sammie and fries at the bistro were delicious. 10/10!

Every experience at Luckett’s has been fantastic. All the staff are excellent, kind, and incredibly hard workers. The wine obviously rocks, and the food is truly second to none. Highly recommend the tofu sandwich!

A must stop for the area. Whether you love wine, food or a good atmosphere, you will enjoy your time here. Lunch was lovely and along with a short tour and wine tasting, it was a complete experience. The store has a variety of wines, books, memorabilia and more for wine fans. Strongly recommended. Be sure to check out the red phone booth of soon-to-be international fame.

Luckett

It’s interesting how one bad experience can erase the good ones. I always had Luckett vineyard in my heart since we visited 5 years ago. It was my first time visiting NS and It was my first trip after having my 1st child. I absolutely loved the food and the wine.

Years later and we just stopped today around 6pm to have supper with our kids and for my surprise, we couldn’t sit because we didn’t have a reservation? The waitress said we needed a reservation but where does it say that? I asked: “are all these empty tables with reservation? ” And she replied: “No”. Still, we couldn’t sit.
She tried to talk to two other waitresses and they both said NO, and they didn’t even look at us. What a poor customer service.
We just left feeling so embarrassed. The sad part is that of course, we are not coming back. Never again.

This is my first time personally being here. Even though it's quite literally right next door. Everything is top-notch. I was very pleasantly surprised. The kids definitely enjoyed their meal and the wife was very happy with her is. I had the reuben sandwich myself and for the first time in a very long time it was actually done correctly.

As far as pricing is concerned, it is indeed fairly well priced. I was expecting the price point to be much higher than it was but giving me type of destination is actually very very reasonable.

Very impressive vineyard especially during sunset. You can dine on a hill looking over the vineyard. The food is delicious and well portioned. The charcuterie board is a must as well as the lobster seafood chowder. Sangrias are also great with red and white options. You can walk down the the well manicured vineyard and take photos. The store is also great and you can purchase wine and the cheese from the charcuterie board.

Superlative food, service and atmosphere. Not an economy meal out. As good as it gets. No reservation required so get there early. 1200 noon at the latest if you want to be seated right away. Strongly recommend.

The best place to grab food while visiting wineries. Lunch was delicious and well priced. Would defined return again for lunch. It tends to get busy so i would come before 11: 30 to avoid a wait. We shared the charcuterie, mussels, steak pie and apple brie chicken sandwich. All were delicious!

We went to Luckett Vineyards for lunch yesterday and it was one of the best meals I've had in NS in a long time and great overall experience. We ordered a ton of different things and everything was fresh, creative, absolutely delicious and you can tell a lot of attention to detail goes into each menu item to really elevate the flavours. Super impressed. (I also have a lot of dietary restrictions and had tons of options). It was a cloudy day and yet was still a beautiful view and great ambience. The shop inside also carries fun and unique products. Highly recommend for both locals and tourists. You won't regret it!

Luckett’s Vineyard is perched on a hill facing Blomidon and the beginning of the Gaspereau valley in NS. This view is spectacular and changes by time of day and weather of course. Sometimes you can see the details in the far off hill emerging from the Bay of Fundy and sometimes you will witness the fog rolling over or around it but always framed by the vineyard in the foreground. Pete Luckett started out selling fruit in the Saint John Market many years ago after coming to Canada. He eventually started a series of his own stores incorporating fruit and specialty goods from England. Later transitioning into the wine making business. There are a number of wines available including Tidal Bay which is a locally grown grape variety, the Phone Box, and my favourite one here, Old Bill, a smooth full bodied red.
Lunch or supper Is a beautiful way to enjoy the view. The meals are delicious. Some of the ones we enjoyed on our visit were LV charcuterie board, Digby scallops-Ricotta Gnudi, Beef loin, Halloumi Summer Fritter & Triumphe burger.

This place was visually stunning between the landscape and the buildings, outdoor patio and of course, their renowned red phone box! They're tasting price was fairly cheap and they offered free tours if you time it right - we were there around 2 pm. All of their wines seemed reasonable as well compared to some others we visited. Definitely worth a stop if you're trying to plan out your wine tasting day!

Good: The wine is very good and the property is beautiful.

Bad: The staff member brought up some politics (support of the "previous president, " Trump, and environmental policy) that made us pretty uncomfortable. In general he talked at us a lot and it wasn't an experience I would repeat.

Of note: The wine tasting is fairly expensive compared to other ones I've done (in NS and elsewhere). It's $13 + tip and is not waved if you purchase wine.

Correction: $12, not $13

Had a lovely lunch and my date bought me a bottle of wine and 2 glasses.

Staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

I'll definitely come again and recommend this lovely spot.

Wish I'd met Pete.
Perhaps my next visit!

Always enjoy this place. The food and service and the spectacular view. Sometimes Pete is there. Hey wait, Pete's usually always there. Such a nice man and very personable. Good sense of humor. We're looking forward to our next visit.

We stopped in at Luckett's for lunch, and were seated by Mr. Luckett himself. The food was delicious, as was the wine, and their specialty cocktails too! The vista is beautiful, and it is fun to spot and stop for a photo in front of the traditional red, English phone booth.right in the middle of the grape vines! Don't forget to stop by the gift shop to purchase a jar of their olives to enjoy at home.they are awesome!

Great wine. Nice atmosphere.
I wish they would credit your tasting if you buy wine. Seems cheap to charge for a small taste when you spend 50+ dollars on wine. Even pubs will let you try some beer and or wine before ordering if you are unsure.

A gorgeous view doesn't equal 4+ stars. When a lunch costs well over $150 for two, the little things matter and such little things were nowhere to be found. Examples I list only include wine-based issues as it's a winery (although there were lots of common courtesies lacking on the food side too). 1/ the server should be familiar with the wine selection despite her statement that "I don't drink white so I have no idea what it's like. " 2/ Bring wine asap so we can enjoy with the oysters (and please describe the oysters when you deliver them). We waited a while for both but gave up. 3/ Always give one of the customers the option to have a taste from the bottle before pouring full glasses. 4/ Please top up the wine glasses when they've been empty for over 10 minutes. 5/ Be forewarned that what they say is their driest white is still very much on the sweet side.

Overall, the food, wine and view are good, but not good enough to pay that much for and put up with unprofessional service.

Four out of five only because this is a corporate type winery rather than small cozy establishment. The view and grounds are amazingly well done. Wine good if you like mostly sweeter wines. Several good drier whites and semi sweet reds. Food is very good. Appetizers and charcuterie top notch. Store associated with wine shop has a very wide assortment of foods like spreads, charcuterie, olives, crackers all reasonably priced. Novel phone booth with free calls in vineyard is unique and ties to the wine names. Highly recommended for the view and to chill out.

A very nice restuarant overlooking the valley. Always enjoy the food (charcuterie board is a fav) and wine (whites and roses). Great patio with an amazing view, a foodie gift shop, a wine bar and ability to do larger functions. Did I mention the excellent service? Great spot for a weekend lunch with friends or dinner date out with the sunset. Recommend!
