Took longer than expected to get the required parts. Once received, repairs were completed in a timely fashion. Service techs were friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating.

While getting my vehicle serviced, (engin filter changed, winter tires on rims, studded and on the car and a recall on my breaks.) I had a phone call telling me my breaks HAD to be done, that if it were an inspection it would fail, (I’m my opinion I should have been informed of how much everything was going to cost considering I had a lot of other stuff I was paying for) and not pressured into something I could not afford at this time. I asked for a rough estimate on how much things would be and was told I wasn’t able to get a quote that they were unsure of the amount it would cost. When I showed up to pay for my service I was shocked by the price and asked the service cashier why it was so expensive (being a college student) the lady at the service cash, Daneliya thank you all right you’re welcome. What was the name of the lady that I was in the argument like what? What was her name?
, without hesitation dialed to get the bay guy to explain my bill. I explained I knew everything has a price but the least they could have done, knowing I was getting a lot done already, was tell me how much everything would cost. When I finally caved and told them never mind I’ll pay the full price so I paid. As I was leaving the service cashier Daneliya, muttered “and don’t come back” I turned to tell her her supervisor would be informed. I left for a second and reentered the building to talk with her manager, he apologized on behalf of the dealer ship, I said no, if anyone was to apologize it should have been her. In my eyes I should have been made aware of the price of everything that was being done to my car before it was done. The service cashier Daneliya was beyond rude and in my opinion not professional at all, and will not apologize for her actions. I will say the manager acted accordingly and was very nice.

Stopped in to check out the EV chargers. They have installed two Level 2 and one Level 3 chargers from Blink. Very much welcome the addition of these chargers in CBRM.

Being new to Sydney, I went to MacIntyre Chev to get my 2007 van serviced. I was greeted by Mark in the service entrance, and we discussed what I'd like done. Mark later called and said some of the things I'd asked about were all fine and didn't require service at this time.
The shuttle driver, Dan, was great to chat with while he drove me home. He also picked me up in the afternoon when the van was done.
All in all, a great beginning to becoming a repeat customer.

I was hung up on for asking questions about services. It wasn’t very professional. Someone else took over afterwards, and corrected the situation. I don’t think I’ll be buying any more vehicles from here.

Very disappointed in our service. We purchased our vehicle from another dealer ship because they didn’t have what we wanted in stock. We were told they would do all the warranty work no questions asked. Well by our surprise this was not the case. They said they wouldn’t even look at our vehicle unless we paid up front and could try to get reimbursed for our money ourselves. We called the dealership we purchased with and they were more than willing to help…even offered to tow our vehicle if needed. The other dealer said this same situation had happened a few times in the last two weeks. We will never come back for any servicing and it is definitely worth the drive to Dartmouth for better customer service.

Hard to get in touch with service when my car was being worked on. Given the wrong days of pick up. Charged me a different price than what was quoted me.
And hit my trunk with something, l scratched the trunk and left a small dent.

A great big thank you to the MacIntyre service team. My rental car had a disagreement with a Cape Breton pot hole and I ended up with a big hole in the front tire. The MacIntyre team were able to find me a replacement tire even though they were an unusual size tire. Everything was done quickly and the spare tire was stored back in its place. Thank you again to the MacIntyre team for the excellent service I received.

I tried calling from long distance and could not get through.
Then filled out an purchasing inquiring form and got no response.
Then 2 days later i did a live chat inquiry and that person said a salesperson would get back to me about the 2022 2500 i wanted and 2 days later no one has had the courtesy to contact me even tho i gave my phone number.
At least if you do not have that vehicle available the polite thing to do is at least respond and say it is sold!

The lady who makes service appointments is really rude.

I went in there for my service as it said no appointments necessary and it is my first car so i didn't knew much about how servicing and everything works.

Lady who was booking appointments was rude with mr without any reason. I told her the issues with my car and she was like do you know there's 154$ charge every hour for that, i don't care about that just note down the freaking issues i am having mam. She was nodding her head like i was bothering her in middle of something important.
I felt so unwelcomed here.

Will never ever be here again.
That lady who books appointments (in her fifties) should Learn how to respect customer.

I didn't create any scene as i didn't wanted to spoil my day.

But you guys surely lose a Customer.

Lady who make service appointment have no knowledge about cars and she is very rude. I had my car service done a week ago. I am facing little problem after car service. I asked can I take to someone who can explain me what the issue can be. She said there is no one who can answer.over all very unexpected behaviour and bad experience.

I had my car towed on a Wed night. I called Thurs morning 8: 20am to give my info and car history. Talked to the service manager Dennis and he said he would call me back in a few minutes. I called again in the afternoon and he again said he'd call me back. After not hearing anything I went in on Monday to ask about it and was told they had no info on how to get in touch with me. BS! 3 different quotes in 2 hours and my car isn't getting fixed. They could have told me that last week! Very disappointing! Dennis denied ever talking to me. Thanks Carter for being honest I do appreciate that.

EDIT: the dealership contacted me after this incident and had me bring in the truck for a full repair on the door handle! You honestly couldn’t tell it had ever been scratched! I’m so pleased they went out of their way to make sure they addressed this situation and I won’t hesitate to go to them again! Thank you!

I took my new 2021 Silverado in for an oil change, the service was fine but when we picked it up, they went to get it for us around back instead of leaving it in the line of finished vehicles, and the guy opened the door for us and we drove the 45 minutes home - only to discover a huge gouge of a scratch on the drivers side door handle that definitely wasn’t there when we dropped it off. This is a brand new vehicle and trust me my hubby knows every scratch and scuff on it, that happened at the dealership and they made sure we didn’t see it while we were there.

I'm away working an my girlfriend got a flat tire on my truck we have a small child an its our only vehicle
She had to drive around with the spare tire on for almost 2 weeks before the tire came in she was in the dealership for almost 3 hours an your guy didn't even put the spare back under the truck for her it's still in the box

A great experience purchasing our new GMC Sierra Elevation! Jordan and Shane were awesome as they were able to wrap up all the required details and get us out the door with our new truck. Took only a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon from start to finish including our test drive. Great Team effort from both gentlemen!

In the past 3 yes I’ve dealt with MacIntyre chev mechanical dept and from my past 6 or 7 visits I can tell you I will never buy another GM PRODUCT as long as I have to deal with them. From a 2007 Buick allure I had in their shop for an ABS issue to be told I needed 2 new wheel bearings after putting 2 new ones in 2 months prior. Just happened that the garage that put them wheel bearing in did replace them AGAIN under warranty and the issue was still there. Went back to MacIntyre chev afterwards to find out it wasn’t wheel bearings but a broken wire issue after 900.00 later. Just recently not even a week I take my 98 Silverado in to be timed to be told they didn’t have a timing light and they couldn’t time it. So over I go to MacIntyre chev with a you tube video on how to time it. It had to be done with a computer so the service adviser goes and talks to an older mechanic who was familiar with timing such a vehicle and 4 hours later I’m driving out of there for a 20 minute job to be charged for an hours labor.
