MacKenzie's Motel Cottages & Luxury Suites

Just 6 years ago this was my favorite place to stay in Shelburne.
I have never seen a business go downhill so quickly.
Rooms are dirty. They smelled musty. And the sheets were even worse. Brown stains on one bed and blood spots on another.
I have pictures but I won't post them here they were too discusting.
Do yourself a favor.

Dirty really dirty. Do not go! Dead bugs everywhere and yeast growing in the shower. Old drink rings on the table. Can't forget the spider webs. The bathroom door doesn't work and the shower door doesn't work

We were the September 3! Room was ok. But the bed was just made up from the last people that slept in it. Went to bed at 11 pm and realized it was dirty with sand and dirt.
I told the guy at the front desk and he never said a word to me. So never again! Disgusting!

The cottages could be nice, but they are worn down. And they are not properly cleaned! There was dirt on the floor, spiderwebs on the lamp and all surfaces in the kitchen were greasy and sticky. Two flames of the stove were so greasy, that they steamed and smelled, when turned on. The microwave was dirty on the inside and greasy on the outside. Cupboards and drawers were dirty. There was hair in the bathroom.
The beds were ok, but that's about it.
Ignore older reviews, since the owner has changed.
