Staff too busy chatting with each other to serve patrons. Had to wander around finding a waitress. No water served with meal so had to get up from table again and find waitress. Food was excellent.

Awesome place to eat. Awrsome food and great atmosphere. Going back again when we finish our move there.

Server was slow and surly, burger would have been ok, except that it was burnt to a crisp on one side, which was then covered up with cheese and bacon to hide the black crust which obviously didn't hide the taste of burned meat. The serving of fries was half of what it should be, considering that it was about $16.

It's been awhile since I ordered from here. Usually get this ginger beef stir fry. But the portion size is half of what it use to be! Almost $20 for this. Pretty disappointing for a main dinner.

Located just inside the lobby of the Maritime Inn. Service is fast and the staff are friendly. It's a decent atmosphere. Food was good.

Food just okay, bathroom disgusting had years worth of grime and dust, if we had seen this before ordering our food would have walked out. Makes you wonder how if the kitchen has any health standards in place. Gross!

We stopped here for breakfast while driving on the Cabot Trail. The blueberry pancakes were very good, as was the Eggs Benedict’s with avocado. The service was excellent and we loved eating out on the lively deck!

I'm from the prairies, so locals may have different opinions, but. I got a salad with shrimp. Best shrimp I have ever had in my life. Amazing.

It was very busy. My steak was charred. Our waitress never refilled our water nor did she ask us how our meal was. Very disappointed.

Delicious food! We had burgers, fish and chips, soups and salad. All of the food was great. Excellent service. Highly recommend this café for lunch.

Mum has allergies, so we had to improvise and put together a meal that would be suitable. Waitress really didn’t seem terribly impressed or empathetic. Menu said tomato or potato as a side. Given we ordered a wrap without the wrap, eggs, and mayo, I asked for both the tomato and potato as a substitute. Waitress still charged us for both. Honestly? We just wanted to salvage a breakfast meal with a menu that had things my mum was allergic to in every item.

Wide array of menu options, good portions and very tasty. My companion found her vegetables overly greasy but my salmon salad was amazong as was a colleagues lobster mac n cheese.

Me and my friend just ordered from this cafe. It was about an hour wait time and very expensive. Once our food was delivered we found out the steak sandwich was not actually a sandwich, in fact it was just a piece of thin steak served on a soggy piece of bread. All of the Fries were very soggy and dripping in water.
Not eating here every again.

Food was good, but a bit cold coming out and the server was friendly and checked in regularly with us.

Without a doubt, the best meal option in Antigonish. I would provide 5 stars if the menu better appealed to my taste.

Had the ginger fried beef served with rice, veggies, beef and sauce. Beef was deepfried in the same oil as their french fries and had no ginger flavor. The sauce was store brand honey garlic you would serve on chicken wings. Edible but a very disappointing attempt.

Will never stop here again. The food looks good on the pictures but it was really bad. Bread was so hard you couldn't take a bite in it. The chicken breast didn't not taste like chicken. The quiche was so soft, you wouldn't need teeth to eat it.
We took a few bites, paid and left.

Food was terrible and we had breakfast. How an you ruin breakfast? The wait staff were great and appoligic for the 45 minutes it took our food to arrive.

So we stopped in that restaurant at the suggestion of a nice young couple pushing a stroller across from RBC, if you recognize yourself give yourself a pat in the back. I was hoping for lasagna but that was not on the menu. No problem, I ordered the fish and chips and I was not sorry, I was actually very pleased that lasagna was not on the menu. The fish in beer batter was so tasty and perfectly cooked it made my day, the fries, coleslaw were also very good. My spouse had a quiche and salad, she said it was delicious, the crust was very flaky and the eggs were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of ham, green onions and cheese, the salad was very fresh and krispy, she was very pleased as well. But then the lemon pie that was on the daily specials was the cherry on the Sunday sort of speak, it was tasty and light, we usually share a dessert but not today, we both had a full slice and glad we did. Shirley our waitress was very quick on her feet and we were waited on expertly, she knows her stuff. Thank you very much Shirley.

Nous nous sommes donc arrêtés dans ce restaurant à la suggestion d'un jeune couple sympathique poussant une poussette en face de RBC, si vous vous reconnaissez, donnez-vous une tape dans le dos. J'espérais des lasagnes mais ce n'était pas au menu. Pas de problème, j'ai commandé le fish and chips et je n'ai pas été désolé, j'étais en fait très content que la lasagne ne soit pas au menu. Le poisson dans la pâte à la bière était si savoureux et parfaitement cuit qu'il a fait ma journée, les frites, la salade de chou étaient également très bonnes. Mon épouse avait une quiche et une salade, elle a dit que c'était délicieux, la croûte était très feuilletée et les œufs étaient cuits à la perfection avec juste la bonne quantité de jambon, d'oignons verts et de fromage, la salade était très fraîche et croustillante, elle était très contente aussi. Mais ensuite, la tarte au citron qui figurait sur les plats du jour était la cerise sur le gâteau du dimanche, c'était savoureux et léger, nous partageons généralement un dessert mais pas aujourd'hui, nous avons tous les deux eu une part entière et nous sommes ravis de l'avoir fait. Shirley notre serveuse était très rapide et nous avons été servis de manière experte, elle connaît son affaire. Merci beaucoup Shirley. Désolé pour les photos, nous ne pouvions attendre de déguster.

Walked in and instantly you could tell it was extremely disorganized. Firstly they showed us to a table which was very big and way too big for 2. Constantly ignored by the waitress and never checked in on us once. Had go get up and place our order because they didn't come and take our order. We waited about 45 minutes and no food showed up and nobody checked in on us. We stood up and asked about the wait. We found out our order was not placed. We finally placed our order and the food finally came after an hour of waiting. Personally, my favourite breakfast ever is eggs benedict, which is what i ordered. When it was served to me, I couldn't be more upset what was served to me. Small portion of food, and the hollandaise sauce had really no flavour to it. Also had to ask for sugar and cream for my coffee constantly considering they didn't bring it when I asked. Overall probably the worse breakfast experience in my life.

First of all, staff was very friendly and gave some very honest recommendations.

As a larger group, we ordered a variety of dishes. Burger was decent. Pasta dishes weren’t particularly amazing but they were very generous with the quantity of seafood.
There was a strong recommendation for the bbq wrap and it was definitely the best choice.

After seeing lots of recommendations to try this place we decided to give it a go! I ordered the black bean and corn burger with a garden salad and it was DELICIOUS! They had lots of other vegetarian/vegan options which was very exciting! Soooo glad we decided to stop by, can’t way to eat here again sometime soon!

Patio is the bomb, would eat here everyday if I could! Food was spectacular. Had the Singapore sling to drink, haddock was so good large piece, chicken sandwich flavor 100%. Creme Brulet to end I all off with a cup of coffee. Would definitely recommend

Food was good, no obvious fact they are licenced, bar well hidden, a decor make over would not go a miss. Exceptional service from Casey.
