We have used this garage for years and have always been very satisfied with the friendly service and great work

Terrible experience, will often scam and say things are bad when they truely aren’t for MVI purposes. Mechanic is very condescending when I spoke to him. Will NEVER take my car here again. Heard other horror stories of this place from multiple other people, stating the same thing when taking there car here for an MVI. Avoid this place.

Update: Took it to another shop, nothing is wrong with my vehicle but this shop told me a million things were wrong with it, just trying to scam money.

Search high and low for a piece of three inch pipe, finally found it with these guys! They flared out my flange for me to fit the pipe as well. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend!

I showed up to drop my car off here to have a valve stem leak and exhaust rust fixed only to find out I booked at the wrong location. The guys at the Eisner location took me in anyway and had my car finished the very next morning, and for a fair price at that! Remarkable turn around time and very accommodating.

Second auto shop ive been too in a week for the same reason, basically looking for a second opinion on whats wrong with my vehicle. First shop claims I need a steering rack ($1900 part). These guys claim there's nothing seriously wrong with it as I still have full control of my steering. And it didnt cost me a penny. Great friendly service. I think I found my new go to mechanic. Great service.they have been taken over by OK TIRE but have kept the same people staffing it which is a huge bonus as they are always friendly and courteous

I went there with my 3 tires and I bought 1 tire. Went to pick up my van, paid for 1 tire and installation of 4, picked up my van and the mechanic made a mistake and put 4 new tires on and installed them. Left my new tires in my van. Then when the caught there mistake they charged me for 4 new tires. So I paid for 5 tires and got 4. I will never again take my families cars to this place. I did not know it was under new owners. So sad.

Got an oil change and an MVI! These guys did a great job! Very reasonable price and on-time service. Trustworthy mechanics here!

They often mess up but they are always willing to 2 check it and fix it. Sometimes they also over charge people for labor so ask them to break down the bill and explain it to you in case they messed it up. They also call and tell you extra work your car needs (they over charge for this work) so I take the note and take it somewhere else if I have to do more then just change my tires.

Was visiting my family from out of province, and was getting ready to leave when I noticed my tires were in REALLY bad shape (too bad to drive). My dad suggested these guys, so I walked-in inquiring about a new set of 4 tires. Mike was AMAZING in everyway: friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and was so kind to squeeze me in (within 2 hours) to get my tires changed (and rotated) for a REALLY affordable price! I would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone! Thank you again Mike:)

Fixed something that they knew was broken and when questioned the mechanic said it was his job to fix it not to see if it was broken. Paid 450 dollars for nothing

I have been sitting in the waiting area watching Mike handle incredibly heavy walk in traffic, phone calls and a constant barrage of questions. He treats everyone with kindness and respect and I've yet to see him turn anyone away. I am incredibly impressed with their commitment to customer service while always keeping a smile on their faces. Great spot would highly recommend!

Went in to see about getting my brakes done my ABS light and my skid control light are lit up when in to have it checked out they said it would be at least two weeks before they could see me and they said good luck getting anyone else at this time of the year.well that sucks

I needed tires mounted and a front end alignment. Tires got mounted but the alignment couldn’t be done because of my vehicle’s stability control system. $20 taxes in to get a tire mounted and balanced is a great value. Plus I dropped my truck off and their shuttle got me to work and back.
What stuck out in my mind was how clean the customer area was. A lot of shops overlook the state of the area where the customer spends their time.
I will definitely return and recommend to others.

Bar none, THE BEST shop in HRM. I would not take my car anywhere else. The front counter staff are courteous, effecient, highly professional and yet down to earth. The mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and go above and beyond every day to ensure your vehicle and your satisfaction are top priority. You get the highest quality of labor, parts and service for an affordable price, not to mention the Gem of a shuttle driver, Wenda, who is a delight! In my opinion, if you're not taking your car to Major Discount, your taking it to the wrong place.

I was around the corner at the Head Shoppe for a haircut on Saturday, and when I left the hairdresser's I had a flat! I called my husband, and our friend drove him over to put the donut on. Thankfully, it was a very close jaunt next door to the nearest tire place. The team at Major Discount was accommodating, taking our car in almost immediately. We took our friend out to lunch to thank him for bringing my husband over, and Major Discount called to say the job was done before we had even finished eating! Not only was the service quick, but honest - our tire just needed to be re-situated on the rim. They did not attempt to sell us an unneeded tire or other good/services. I was lucky that they were the closest shop when the unpredictable happened. Major Discount made an unexpected situation that could have been a major hassle a quick, easy, and cost-effective experience. Thanks so much to everyone there who helped us out!

These people are so kind and very hard-working. I called them up to tell them my steering wheel was very shaky after having one winter tire put on there last week. They said to swing by and they would take a look.

They ended up taking 30 minutes out of their cram-packed day and balanced my three other tires right then and there, no appointment, even though they were extremely busy. I drove away and my wheel was no longer shaky at all. They saved me so much time and money and I can't thank them enough!

I will be back and I'll be recommending to everyone I know with a car!

I took my dad, James, to get a set of 4 snow tires on today December 31. The service was great and Steve was very friendly. Tires look great and great price. Thanks again. Will do business with you again.

Was able to fit me in during tire season, but had several glaring issues.

Told me over the phone that a control arm/ball joint was bad. Unit was replaced a year prior.

Unit was in warranty through manufacturer. Contacted supplier and had a new unit shipped.

Due to miscommunication over the phone, wrong part was ordered.

Took car to a different shop. Control arm was fine and not the issue, it was a tie rod end.

Pushy about upsells, and wrong about the issue.not trusted, will not be back.

Great staff, very accommodating and reasonable prices. I have been taking my vehicle here for years for everything from brakes, mvi, oil changes and tire changes. Nothing but the best service and I always trust them with my vehicle.
