They got Tamiya paint galore, nice selection of Bandai (Gundam HG/MG), and Tamiya/Revell/Academy. Really fancy kites, train sets and RC planes. Prices are very fair. Staff very knowledgeable.

Great selection, great staff, great service, and great model planes, tanks, helicopter, boats and many more in one store, bought some models from this store and it was the best time i ever had with this hobby

Decent selection of model kits and diecast at reasonable prices. All items seem to be of high quality and even older items are in great condition. The selection is honestly the only reason I’ve been coming back.

Staff aren’t very friendly though, I’ve come in with my fiancé three times and they’ve either been rude or treat you like you’re going to steal something.

I want to enjoy this shop because they have some of the best prices around but I usually leave feeling awful because of the customer service. Young people can also enjoy partaking in these hobbies and I don’t want to be treated like a criminal while I shop. If you’re going to treat young people like this your business won’t last long term. If you’re worried about theft, get an alarm system/security system to detect when unpaid items leave the shop.

I don’t think I’ll be supporting this business any longer. Paying extra for shipping with online hobby retailers is worth it because I don’t have to deal with your staff.

I've loved Maritime Hobbies for a while now as they have the best (& most organized) selection of DMC floss. Today I took my 6 y/o in as his special interest is vehicles and the owner was just SO lovely and helpful and made the experience even better for my son.

They validate parking for you if you park against the stone side of the building by TAZ record enterance

Friendly staff, had paints I needed. Nice selection of HO Scale supplies for a lay out. For plastic kits, they had a small variety. Wish they carried more Tamiya 1/32 aircraft or Revell. Or even larger ships 1/200 or 1/350. I seem to remember them having more at one time, could be due to supply constraints in the market at present. Will go back next time I’m in town.

Absolutely the best hobby shop I have ever been in. They have loads of choices available in store. Staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and keen to share their wealth of information. They have such a variety of items that I urge people to visit just to check out the store. Their prices are competitive with local and online resources, plus they have a used/consignment section that is great. My new favourite store to visit, find information and make purchases.

Very helpful and down to earth staff. I asked a couple noobie questions and they showed me exactly what I needed.
