I've stayed here twice and would definitely stay again. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My 2nd floor room was spacious and comfortable, but could possibly use a little update. The only negative is that the sheets are too small for the bed and were constantly coming off the corners, exposing the mattress and creating lumps.
I had to switch rooms part way through my stay (my fault for booking last minute and staying for almost two weeks including over a busy StFX Uni sports weekend). My second room was on the first floor, with access from the outside. I didn't like this room as much, but that"s just my preference. There was nothing wrong with it, it just didn't feel as cozy and I like being on the inside.
Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, Main Street Cafe, was included. There's lots to choose from and it's delicious. Restaurant staff is super friendly.
Parking is free. Location is excellent - easy to walk to StFX, lots of restaurants and stores, and easy drive to many beaches.
