Mary Brown's Chicken

Worst customer service we have ever experienced. Had a pickup order which was missing 4 items. Called when we got home and the manager and staff literally accused us of lying and would not even reimburse our missing items. They were very unprofessional as we were calm and collective. The worst part about it was we heard in the background someone returning items which were not theirs (most likely our missing items) and then were hung up on. Check your orders and good luck with the management staff there. Won’t be going here again.

Used this location for catering arrangements in Halifax for 111 guests. The food arrived promptly on time, still hot and did not get soggy during transit. Which can be difficult with items such as taters or fries. Was a very positive experience and will definitely be in touch for future Mary Browns catering requirements.

I come every monday to get my big mary but for today i could not believe that i had to throw away my sandwich as the chicken was maybe old because it was extremely chewy. Disappointing!

Waited there for a very long time, not a soul came to take order. 1 person and it seems the window & app takes priority. Finally got served and then the order sat until everyone was serve in the drive Thur. Food was not hot, just warm. Never again.

Worst service ever. The Manager at this location is awful. Also when I was there they were having scheduling issues and it seems the Manager is only hiring people
Also of Indian descent because they get a government subsidy. Between the service and the manager it’s the worst Mary Browns by far. And it hasn’t even been open that long.

I had a 2 piece snack with taters and my food was cold. I don't bother staff with my problem because they are serving what they are told. This is the second time that this has happened to me I don't think I would come back for a third strike it was approximately 230 pm when we went in my husband had the chicken strips he said were warm, I couldn't say that because my food was cold because it was busy and the girl on the till taking orders couldn't get to serve us our food and also serve customers. When we got our order our sauce wasn't on the tray also the coleslaw wasn't on the tray I had to go up twice to get our things. You need more staff or the shift Manger needs to lend a hand.

While normally I am a fan of MB this location was a miss. They failed to provide me my full order, they actually gave me the wrong food when correcting it. I also placed an order while in the restaurant for a can of pop and gravy which took 20 minutes to serve. The food had been tossed down and not even a sorry was given. Not sure why this place struggles when every pther location has been a joy but this one is off the list of pop ins for sure.

Came in for lunch, so many people standing around doing nothing and screaming and chatting it up, yet I cleaned my own filthy table and moved there garbage over, almost every table is dirty in here.wedges where under cooked, chicken was good tho!

Clean restaurant area, easy to read menu board, delicious food and great service. Minus one star because Mary Brown’s still doesn’t have a vegetarian option aside from their sides (which fortunately are delicious).

It would be faster to slaughter your chicken and pluck it than getting it from this place. Told 5 min, then another 10, another 10, another 10.

Great location, fantastic food, extremely polite staff. I grew up with this stuff when I was younger, love to see a new location doing so well.

If you wanna wait over 30 minutes for your food! This is the best place for it! Last time ever coming here, be taking my business else where!

The new location is very nice. Spacious and clean. Very friendly wait staff. They mixed up my order which I didn't realize until I left, but that's ok. It was still the great chicken.

I had a terrible experience at this location. Being from Newfoundland, I’ve been eating Mary Brown’s since I was a child. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Mary Brown’s and I won’t be going back to this location. Chicken was over-cooked and tough. Big Mary chicken tasted about 12 hours old and was very thing/string. Taters were burnt. Gravy was cold. Terrible. I even sent an email to Mary Brown’s and they just completely ignored it. Won’t be back.

Terrible service. They forgot our gravy, gave us chicken strips instead of popcorn chicken, overcharged us and the employees were probably some of the nastiest people I’ve ever met. Steer away from this place.
