12 June 2023: Good rice and half grilled chicken, for 15.99 it seemed like a wonderful choice. It had both quantity and taste. Would love to go and try it once again.

22 June 2023: Went there for lunch, but they have increased the prices by almost $2-3 which does not make the food worth it. I have heard that the food prices have doubled over the past 12 months, which is not the case with other restaurants. Expensive choice now, not for regular meals.

Great service! Cook lead me towards the half chicken dinner. It was over the top delicious. Thanks so much my friend.

The food is great but the customer service provided by their full-time female employee is amazing. She is able to keep up when things are wildly busy in there and does it with a smile and genuinely connects with customers. She deserves a raise and I certainly hope she is shown that she is valued by her employers!

This place is my go to whenever i’m downtown, some of the best shawarma i’ve had in halifax.very friendly staff, good portion sizes, i highly recommend to anyone who wants to try authentic mediterranean food that’s delicious and affordable!

I got the chicken shawarma wrap and it didn’t disappoint. Coming from some pretty good Mediterranean places in Toronto my expectations weren’t to high and they were pleasantly exceeded.

Very nice portion sizes but not at the expense of taste.

The service is great. The food is delicious. It taste like home cooked food. The prices are reasonable.

The smells of delicious food fills your nose as soon as you enter the door.
Our taste buds were delighted by the flavors.

This is the place.
Garlic sauce was on point. Chicken was delicious.
Don't need the coleslaw personally, pickles and turnips would be better.
Still, I'm glad they're here. Super tasty.

The service is very bad no one wearing mask properly. I ordered food for takeout and they did not give any napkins and spoons.
Zero customer service…. According to food quality prices are too much.

The worst owner ever went in to pick up food and he made me wait for 30 mins and never gave me the food. And was very rude to me and planning to take legal actions in this restaurant

Food is great. The young lady who handles the cash is rude (23rd April 2022,09: 16pm). Thinks she owns the place.
The other employees are good and cooperative. Great restaurant but #Disrespectful employee (just the one).

Ordered lamb Kabsa and was pleasantly surprised. The amount of meat was with the price and compared to so many other places. The flavor was so good. Would try other dishes as well.

Very poor experience. Went to pickup Shawarama. The guy brought chicken in pot (maybe leftover from last night) and wrap it up. When I asked why he is not using fresh, there was no response. The taste was aweful. Will never go to this place again.

Mashawee is an exquisite restaurant. The food is delicious. I came here for a dinner and was very happy in my selection. Our party tried many dishes. The falafel were some of the best I have ever eaten. The lamb chops were very good. The Mix-Grill were amazing. My friend enjoyed his Shawerma The prices are what they are, it's a nice restaurant with a wonderful aesthetic and phenomenal food. Not unreasonable by any means. A worthy spot to visit.

The Best Restaurant in Halifax, Very Nice People, great Price, clean food.
First time @the resturant, not only I enjoyed the food I also appreciate the hard work and the attentiveness of the staff. Emy, the cashier/greeter was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me pick a devilishly delicious dish out of the various items on the menu. Highly Recommended!

Best Shwarma I’ve ever had! There is something very special about the chicken glaze, their garlic sauce and hummus. Top notch and so authentic! Amazing value, wonderful service! To the people complaining about what comes on it, uhhh ask for it without?

Not a bad place to grab a shawarma wrap but I've had better. The chicken was a bit too salty for my liking and they put hummus and onions on it unless you ask them not too. This is the only place that i know of that puts those two things on a Shawarma along with the usual, very odd.
