May Garden Chinese Restaurant

Because the pickup was in a hurry, I just took the tap and left. When I got home and looked at the order, I was forced to charge a 15% tip for the pickup order... Meal + mandatory tip + tip? ? ? Even if the service attitude is poor, tipping is compulsory...

WORST Chinese I've ever had. Grey chicken, soggy chow mein, questionable egg rolls. Disgusting all around.

We waited at the door for almost an hour. Countless waiters saw us but no one came to greet us. There were a few empty seats in the restaurant, but no one cleared the tables. They kept us waiting. They didn't even say sorry for waiting for so long, just say sorry when you see people of other races. It’s an overestimation.

We went yesterday with my little one, the service was above and beyond, they even change the big screen to cartoons so he could watch while we ate, we had two servers asking us if everything was ok or if we needed something pretty often, the food was great and it came fast, I will totally recommend it!

The place is good for small and big gathering but it's a little pricey compared to others. Service and atmosphere were good but the foods are not something that will make you come back. Came here for lunch and found the taste so ordinary to me.

Update: I take it all back. My granddaughter wanted to see the robot server with the cat face in action, so her dad, her brother, and she and I had a meal here tonight. We had the hot and sour soup, Ma Po tofu, ginger beef stir fry, ginger beef hotpot, chicken fried rice, pan-fried dumplings, and one May Garden special egg roll. It was all very tasty and fresh, and the service was efficient and friendly, although we didn’t have the robot. Next time, maybe.

One of the Chinese restaurants in Halifax that offers Dim Sum on Saturday and Sunday. Worth to try if anyone wants to know to Cantonese Dim Sum culture.

Your beef is not beef, looks like pork I never seen white beef before, maybe it's cats who knows, last time I order from your location.

Used to like this place. Service was always great and food, better than most. Had a bad experience recently. Got quite sick less than an hour after eating. Will not likely go there again.

Extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. It was the very worst we have experience in the Halifax/ Bedford area in the last ten years. Sorry but this restaurant has to do better!
