Excellent service, they're quick and cost effective. They upgraded to a new login system a couple years back which took myself and the other guy at work week or so to get used to it. Once we did it was super convenient. As a business I would highly recommend.

Edit: I forgot to add the delivery drivers are great on the Shubie/Stewiacke run where we're located. Always brings treats for my dad's dog at work. A new guy was getting trained a few months ago and the regular guy gave our dog two treats and told him this is one of the best dogs you'll meet.

Avoid this company unless it is your only option, we had to get a transmission to Chéticamp in a hurry so we hired them to deliver it through their ''1'' day delivery service. It did not arrive the next day, or the one after that, and not even the one after that one. It took them four days but they still charged the same fee.

When I called them, they did not pick up so I left a message, to which they never bothered to reply to.

If they had been one day later, we would have been late on our return to work; we had to drive 18 hours in one go just to make it back in time due to their negligence. It essentially ruined our vacation and added a large amount of stress and incertitude.

For the record, the mecanic called them every day to check in on the delivery, and they always promised it the next day, which did not happen until the fouth day. Package got lost in Truro, then Port Hawksberry.

Long story short, it took them four days to make a 4h drive delivery. (I understand that they have other stops to make, but do not commit to a timeline you cannot uphold).

Superb pickup/delivery service - we can always count on MBW to get our product where we need it, when we need - next day or better! Excellent customer service when we need support as well!

This community minded company delivered a very large item for us on short notice. The communication was easy and quick and I spoke to a local person. Very reasonable to work with. Negative reviews below do not reflect our experience at all. We will work with MBW again.

Used to be the best customer service going, since they went to online only for shipping manifests our company had to take our business elsewhere. So much for the little guys.

My father sent something my way and was told to send it collect because otherwise they couldn’t guarantee it would get out that day. The number given to my dad was not a tracking number and they can’t track packages sent collect (would have been good to know). And you can’t pay with debit or credit card when it arrives. It arrived three days late and no one knew where it was and corporate office has no idea what they’re doing. It finally arrived and there were two pieces. Only one was dropped off. I called them within minutes of realizing and there was no way for them to contact the delivery person. Corporate said they’d try to fix this but no one got back to me and now they say I won’t hear from anyone until Monday. I’ve never once, in the many phone calls I’ve made, heard sorry. SERVICE IS TERRIBLE - from beginning to end.

1st time thought we would give them a try. Failure from the start paid hi value for same day 3 days later product shows up after several phone calls only to not get through. Terrible customer service, terrible follow up still have not heard any rationale as to what happened to our package. But they have the money. Canada Post, Purolator, Fed Ex it may cost a bit more but your product will arrive and you can have someone to talk to. Even there package tracing didn't work. What a poor customer experience, and nobody cares.

If there is a negative star I will give them that.not at all reliable. Improper communication between dispatch and drivers. Customer service have no clue what's going on.

Lost package and when I called for a trace the person in customer service told me they wouldn’t be bothered to look for one package and to submit a claim

There will come a time, in the near future, that you won't be able to turn away the little guy that needs something shipped, and this little guy won't be there calling you for your service. Your rude and condescending attitude about how "you've never made more, in any year" after I called for a quote, and stated you must be hemorrhaging money because you're turning away all these small jobs, left a bad taste in my mouth. Good luck in the future. You'll need it!

Pathetic service.sent a package from Bedford to Bridgewater and package was delivered after 2-3 days Bedford pickup driver confirmed that Bridgewater driver did not handle the package properly and package got lost and was delivered with delay. There was no apology or consent call from MBW what so ever and we end up paying high price for lazy service.

Just to give them a benefit of doubt we sent another package " Envelop" this time bill # 8077939 and package is still not delivers despite of the commitment from the Bedford driver that envelop will be delivered same day afternoon. Called today morning to complain about it and representative was rude and hung up saying " we have so many derivers and we do not commit delivery time "

It seems MBW does not respect their own delivery drivers words.

We just started using this company and to say I am pleased with that choice would be an understatement! The staff are helpful and friendly. The service is great and at reasonable pricing to boot. We now use them for local and out of town deliveries.
