McDonald's

Did drive through. Very difficult to get in and out of. Would not want to be pulling a trailer of any kind!

The floors were dirty, napkins not stocked, things like that. This McDonald's seemed to be below corporate standards.

We were In the drive through and we payed at the first window, and once we went to the second window the manager claimed we hadn’t payed at the first, so she charged us twice, but we had evidence of the double charge on the bank account, and we showed her and she insisted we hadn’t payed even with the proof, it took 30 minutes for her to finally refund us, and when she refunded us it was still 5 dollars short

I almost feel bad writing this about HARLEEN but something has to be said as no one answers the phones or emails at this restaurant. I have seen this shift leader multiple times inside or through the drive thru, she is snobby, lazy and ignorant. She has given sass to me and my kids when asking for sauce or utensils. I’ve also only seen her smile once… when she asked a teenager to clean the floors/cupboards on his hands and knees while also having to serve the counter. She has yelled at kids and adult staff working while standing there and not helping. I would never let my kids or any of my friends in East Hants let their kids work here as long as she’s there. Do better Harleen, you should be ashamed

Terrible customer service and no logic with the employees. I was overcharged on iced coffee, offered a refund and then refunded the whole amount instead of the difference. Instead of just owing the mistake and giving the $1 iced coffee they wanted me to pay again and do the whole process on my debit for the third time (holding up a very long drive thru line up). Logically would have made sense just to refund the difference or just give the $1 coffee for the mistake on overcharging. They even took the iced coffee back at the pick up window from the cardboard tray.

Les tables ne sont pas lavées malgré que je l'ai fait remarquer au gérand, rien n'a bougé. Je n'y retournerai pas. En plus le stationnement et la voie de commande à l'auto sont entre mêlées.

Great food. Reheated McDonalds fries are awful. The place is filthy.

It is closed to dine in and the drive through is a cluster f=%k

Usually no issues. Really dislike the awkward drive through and parking though always have. Giving three because staff is usually always nice and I know they are working hard.

However hours need to be updated and posted for public. And also maybe do not cut people off when they have been waiting to order for 5 min in the drive through. I guess the drive through was closing at 9pm (?) and a worker walked out at 8: 50 and walked past 4 cars, myself included and blocked the drive through so. We just have been waiting for 5 plus minutes and it's before 9 and you are not going to take the orders because?

Maybe find a different way of how this is handled? Like putting the milk cartons behind the last car waiting so no others can come but take the cars that have been waiting that were there before close!?

Would guest that come inside to order at 845 be told to leave if they were inside waiting on staff to take their order?

Just was a bit madding was all.

What a great bakery! We tried the strawberry flakies, Nanaimo bars, tea biscuits and fresh bread. EVERYTHING was delicious. I need to go back and try their breakfast because I bet that's great too.

We waited in the drive through for over 20minutes and it wast even busy. Unbelievably long wait at the food window as well once we actually made it that far.

Last 3 times I’ve gone through the drive through, I keep getting a wrong order, pretty easy, double quarter pounder, no cheese, extra pickles, I’ve gotten it with cheese. A Big Mac, and even just a quarter pounder with no cheese. I mean these are kinda close, but come on, it’s on a screen, the girl recaps your order AND it’s printed on the receipt! How is this so hard? ! I’ve worked in the fast food industry in the past. Granted one can make a mistake a Few times but it seem like every time lately. I can’t be the only one having these issues.

Maybe put a sign out on the roadside saying ice cream machine is down during the middle of the day and middle of Summer. Loved being stuck in drive thu with car full of kids and no escape because of poor location and lot design.

They still have the best breakfast sandwiches, hands down, and their frosty shakes are good every time for a treat.

Forced to wait 10minutes in parking lot for cold food. Stop forcing your cars to park if not going to give fresh food. Thats the reason why you pulled.

It's a McDonald's, you can expect quick service and low prices as usual. I've eaten here many times and usually have no complaints:) I recommend getting the Quarter Pounder BLT, It's by far the highest quality burger you can get from McDonald's.

All day breakfast is not breakfast. Who orders French fries with their breakfast sandwich? Not this chick.

I find them very inconsistent. I always feel the need to check the bag before driving away because it is often wrong

Stopped ordering alot of things from here because it always ends up wrong even with the simplest orders like a hot fudge sundae with extra sauce i pay for i always end up with just normal amount of sauce or when i get junior chickens with no lettuce its always 50/50 whether i will get no lettuce or not but thats typical mcdonalds things with any one i go to

Meh, it's a McDonald's. Quick and somewhat bland food. Inconsistent service and sometimes your order is correct. Again, it's quick, not cheap anymore and fills the hole.

They forgot half our order. Was dining in at least so I could ask for the rest of our food. They got it pretty quickly.
They seemed overwhelemed and not organized.

Took about 10 minutes standing at cash, before staff waited on me. Only after a kind young staff member on his break, went back behind the counter and asked someone to come out front. Never received all of my order.

Dollar drink days won my heart back with mcdonalds but new menu items need to be happening more often and not just seasonal selections.

My favorite thing about this McDonald's is consistency. Whenever I get a smoothie or something they always taste the same. It's not like other fast-food places where it tastes different every time.

Probably the worst McDonald's in Nova Scotia. Famously long wait times. Orders are seldom correct.

Kinda slow for two regular bacon mcmuffin meals. It was over a 7 min wait. Food was regular McDonald's quality. Sufficient, I guess.

Unfortunately rarely ever gets an order correct. Okay service but just not accurate. Sometimes Long wait times as well

McDonald's has always been my families go to place for either a quick snack or treat for supper, and absolutely love there breakfast sandwiches. I've always considered a bacon n egg McMuffin a awesome breakfast and or snack.totally addictive lol

They forgot the fries in my daughter's Happy Meal and the extra toy we ordered for my other daughter.

It was open late 1230am that's a plus. Also that second wave of China covid 19 virus did not stop them from running late

They did not deserve the one star that they got. Could not enter the store at 435pm because they were receiving an order. No signs of any kind. I went to the door and knocked on the window, no answer. Finally got some info from the truck delivery guy who told me I could not enter while divery in progress. So I could not leave the parking lot without going through the drive thru as this was the only exit. I was a VERY slow line and when I placed my order for late and small coffee was told I could not get the hot beverages. So I again had to wait behind cars that were ahead of me, again no exit. I told the lady at the window that service was poor and was informed they were short staffed- sorry not my problem. I asked if there was a manager and was told yes. I said may I speak to them please. He was NOT very helpful and his attitude was too bad. Will NOT be back and have heard from others that this McDonalds should be avoided! Thought your restaurant was better than this.

“Would give 0 stars if possible. Fries had no salt and by the time I got through the held up line, my food was barely warm. One of the worst managed McDonald’s in the HRM area. No wonder their nickname is McDicks.

Also they barely clean anything besides occasional table wipes and floor sweeps, so be cautious if you’re immuno compromised. ”

Their manager named Pamele, she don’t know how to talk with customers and she was yelling at employees.

My sister and a friend's ex SO worked here half a decade ago while in school and she always said how mismanaged they were, rampant drug abuse, disrespect, etc. Our family has moved back to the area since and out of the 2 orders I've made here they've somehow gotten them both wrong. Not hard orders, both times they've been Jr. Chicken add bacon with a medium fry well done. Last time they forgot the bacon and the fries weren't well done. This time no lettuce, extra mayo and the fries weren't well done. All Jr chickens come with lettuce and it would be different if it was noted upon order that they had none. No mention. Take your business to an establishment who will show you more respect, like across the street at A&W. I don't know how they've survived this long.

Its McDonald's so you know the result.greasy goodness, followed by tomentful intestinal rejection, and hours of regret. Its best saved for hangover days or when you need a tasty colon cleanse. Clean and well managed location though with cheerful staff.
