Horribly unprofessional staff. If staff spent more time focused on why they are being paid to be there than what size condoms the guy they are trying to sleep with (actual conversation had in store between two staff members while they were in uniform working behind counter while customers are standing in line), less time on phones (have seen staff almost hit several times while taking orders out to cars because they are nose deep in their phones, and they ignored customers at rhe counter to be on phones), more time cleaning horribly dirty, pee covered, soap covered bathrooms that barely have toilet paper. Managers that actually acted like managers and not like children playing with their friends behind the counter. And people refrained from speaking other languages in front of people they just had disputes with when clearly you can tell they are complaining about them.then this may have been a different review. To top everything off, one of the slowest McDonalds in HRM, and it would be one thing if the slow wait meant you were gonna have fresh food.never the case. You can guarantee that your fries are old and cold, burger is just thrown in a wrapper or box, they will almost always hand you your order with no napkins, straws, or other needed items and then give attitude when you come back for it. It is pretty unanimous among visitors that this is a horrible experience every visit.

I find going through drive through can be hard on both the customer and the employee working drive through. I would like if they took the time to repeat the order so that little or large mistakes don't happen.

Every night food wrong no Mc chicken sauce food not customized. I’ve tried calling them to pick the phone up and hung up on my ear. I asked for a McChicken sauce none.

Every couple months I give this mcdonalds another shot. But every time I regret my decision. Might be the slowest mcdonalds in all of halifax.

Even as far as mcdonalds go this place is awful. The produce on any product frequently smells and tastes absolutely nasty. Not eating their "food" anymore

Hi,
I suggest you guys to please use other two windows for the delivery man’s at night. We have to sometimes wait for more than 20 minutes which is not good for us. As we do it at night to earn not to burn fuel in long lines.
I guess it will work and you will make some changes.

Ordered on the app and when they brought it out the order was missing items. They proceeded to argue with me as if I was lying about missing items. By the time they agreed to bring me the missing items, my other food was cold.

I don't go to fast food places to be accused of stealing cheeseburgers. I'm not the Hamburglar.

Seriously though, very unprofessional and insulting.

Rarely have a issue with my food/order.
Definately need more attentive cashiers.
Stood in line for a bit before I was acknowledge/order was taken.

Clean restaurant and washrooms Good parking

I ordered a 10 pack nugget meal upside to fries and a diet Coke and a cheeseburger.
I got a 10 pack nugget meal with regular fries that were upside down in the bag and no cheeseburger and a root beer.
The woman in the Drive-Thru proceeded to argue with me over what I ordered.
I was very patient but eventually I said I know what I ordered. She also assured me there was sweet and sour sauce in the bag and when I got home there was no sauce at all. Not happy.

This McDonald's really has the worst service in metro. They have, in fact, won my very first "worst service award".
Honestly, just go to Burger King down the road, its open, the food is just as bad but the service is better.

Orders have never been correct, even the most simple of small orders have been immensely wrong. Been told to pull off to the side and wait for even the simplest of things only to wait 20+ minutes.

Went in to pick up a bunch of stuff for the family, only to drive all the way home to find that 90% of the order was missing. Returned to the restaurant and was dismissed, as apparently that '"wasn't their problem. "

Unacceptable customer service, I gave all my teenage years to working in this place, fix your standard of quality.

Not a great experience tonight.
Mobile order was very wrong.drove home, then had to drive back to have whole order remade.

More than half the time I go here or even have food delivered it is messed up. The only time I go to this location is for a last option sort of deal, I don't even think I'll be doing that since they had just put a thick cut tomato on a jr chicken when there was no mention of me asking for one. Terrible.

Worst Mcdonalds in HRM. If you live in sackville it will likely be faster to drive to Larry Uteck then to wait at the one in Sackville.

Rarely get what I order the first time around. Often get the wrong order, somebody else's order. If this weren't the only McDonald's local to me. I'd be going to a different location. I often choose a different fast food restaurant when possible.

Terrible drive through service. Ever single time, no matter what I order, I get asked to pull over to the waiting areas. Spent 20 minutes in the drive through and ended up having to go in to prompt them to get my order. Meanwhile 15 cars get their order and drive away while I wait. They need to concentrate on their overall drive through times, that should include the people waiting.

It’s getting a bit ridiculous…weeks now and every night they don’t have ice yet if you walk inside there is ice in the smoothie machine and the pop machine.
I come here all the time but for awhile I’ll be staying away. Put up a sign don’t have ppl get to about to order and then tell them. Bad and disappointing business.

Love my girl on the window. She is there and know what I want as extras.salt pepper water without me ordering. She remembers always.shes on the pickup window Wednesday Thursday and Friday morning on my way to work. A amazing person. She needs to be recognized. Always knows what I want as soon as she sees me. A great asset to your family. Nobody gets me like that girl

Ordered ahead through the mobile app for 3 people, yet they managed to forget 2 sides of fries and a dessert when there was no one else ordering

They do not wear hair- nets i had hair on my coffee also the coffee was so gross compared to other McDonald’s not stired so sugar sitting at the bottom.

You would think during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC it might be advantageous to keep your drive thru open. Not McDonald's on sackville dr. We don't need drive through revenue here. We keep it closed for hours on end. I'm just gonna give up and go to Bedford from now on.

Ice cream machine not working again.maybe they should schedule these 4 hour cleaning cycles after midnight and not 2pm on a hot and sunny summer afternoon

My wife Cathy and I visited your restaurant on 20 April 2021. During our visit we were served by a young lady named Harsimran Kaur. While at the restaurant we attempted to download the MacDonald's app without much success. Between orders Harsimran went out of her way to help us download the app. She was not only helpful, but courteous, pleasant and a delightful young lady who brightened up our day. Harsimran is a credit to your organization.

On behalf of Cathy and myself, I would be grateful if you would express our appreciation to Harsimran for the wonderful young lady and MacDonald's representative that she is.

I used to think highly of this location but in the last few months they just can't get our orders right, or there's something wrong with the food (like hair in the fries). I'm not sure what changed, but I'm tired of all the screw-ups. I won't be going back.

Clean and well-kept place. Workers are friendly and cheerful. Appreciated the fast service. Interior design and eating space is very nice with a small chandelier and cute coffee tables. Surpasses many other McDonald’s I’ve been to!

Worst McDonald's by far, always get orders wrong, the staff isn't very friendly, and inside is not very clean.

I am so disappointed and disgusted right now, I wish I could give negative stars. I have never publicly reviewed a place negatively like this before but I feel this is unacceptable. I ordered McDonalds from Skip the dishes this evening in Lower Sackville, the bags came sealed, however when I opened the box my burger was in there was a bite already taken out of it. When I called McDonalds they advised me to contact Skip the dishes about it, who refunded the burger, however the rest of the order they would not, despite the rest of the order was in the same bag with an item that had clearly gone to someone else before me. Given we are taking extra precautions with covid-19, it is unacceptable there was an already eaten item in the bag with the rest of the meal. I will never order from here again.

Absolutely terrible, they don't read order slips and when called out about it, even with a receipt to prove it will say you are wrong!

Burgers quality isn't the best, chicken nuggets on the other hand deliver almost perfect and are very consistent with taste, love the seasonal items such as the shamrock shake, and others, I reccomend it but there is better out there

It seems like every time I go here its getting rushed, drive-through sometimes get congested so you might want to walk in and order for take out.

Slow drive through always plugged up, can never get an order right 3 times in a row last time going through there.

Sackville McDonalds is the most consistent fast food on Sackville drive. The heroes that work there don't get enough credit

The Sackville location has gotten faster in their drive-thru which means less of a weight and less frustration

Went there today at 1059 and they would not take my order for lunch. Was told lunch starts at 11, so drive around and line up again.
Very poor service.
They care more about money than customer service.
I will drive to Burnside McDonald's before I go to sackville ever again. And this isn't the first time either. I've had wrong food, cold food, old food and disrespectful window service.

Went through drive thru. Made order. Got wrong order went in to get correct order. But what ever goof made it decided to put ketchup on the outside of buns on 2 burgers.did no go back in. Food went in the garbage. Not impressed. And not the first time. Wont be back to this location.

Their ice machine in drive thru has been broken for sometime.when a customer orders in drive thru they do t bother telling them that their drink won't have ice and thee pop is very disgusting warm.

Besides the overall dissatisfaction I've had with this location (Ex.poorly made food, slow service, going against directions, etc.) today was the last straw! My mom found a loose hair in the bottom of her McChicken box! We know it couldn't have been from our family because it was blonde and we all have very dark brown hair. This place has gone down hill FAST to the point where my family waits to eat until we get closer to a different McDonalds. I can't say I'm surprised that this happened here though.

Very disappointed in my last visit. The staff forgot sauce for my nuggets and didn’t put ice in my pop.

This particular location you should avoid if possible. They constantly serve cold coffee, stale burger patties and old fries. The drive-thru is an 8-10 minute and the food you get is is never up to par. I seem to have many errors on simple orders.

It all depends on when you are there and who is working. There have been many times we have been here an felted like not returning. They seem to put all friends and young one together an they do a lot of talking an joking around with each other even when there is a dinner rush.but again other times its great an you will be in an out.im all for a good time an enjoyable work place but there is a time and place for it.

Had to ask twice to get an extra hashbrown with our meal. Once we got the meal, it still didn't have the extra hashbrown. With the hashbrown we had received the top was ripped off and the bottom was hard as a rock.
Let's hope next time we don't run into the same problem.

If it was once or twice it would be normal, but every single time I end up waiting 10-15 minutes. Usually it's just for a coffee. It's ridiculous.

Don't bother with 24hr service. We went there at 3 am after dropping family off at the airport. After waiting 5 mins to place our order we got "All we have is poultry"
25 minutes later we got our nuggets and junior chicken.
I noticed that the window guy was yapping away with the vehicle in front of us for about 15 then he said (it will be another 10 mins and closed the window.

I've given up on trying to get a hot coffee, a cold coffee or my coffee order right at this McDonald's. I realize they're not a coffee shop, but good Lord how hard is it to have fresh hot coffee? !? !

Always have to wait for drive threw order. 10mins one time and 5mins. Today ordered bacon egg mcmuffin and got ham. Sometimes mistakes happen but Three times now

I have found that this store is either really good or really bad, depending on the staff working. There are many times they mess up on orders. An are missing many of your items, I have come to make sure I double check before I leave the counter
