Mian's Restaurant

We were in Sydney after several days on the Cabot Trail where we could nit find much in terms of Indian food so we were happy to find some options in Sydney. The veggie biryani was excellent and the channa bhatura was also good (bhaturas are nice and big)

We just moved to Glace Bay and it was refreshing to find this tasty place. Food was delicious and hit the spot. My wife and I can't wait to return to try more dishes.

I had some beef last night that was so dry i could barely swallow it. The quality of food has gone down hill horribly from the last time i ordered from here it use to be fantastic.

We were struggling to find good vegetarian options in Cape Breton and then decided to give Mian's a try, and oh boy we were happy we did! They had a FULL PAGE of VEGETARIAN OPTIONS! The atmosphere was pleasant but nothing special, the food on the other hand was fantastic. We started with veggie samosas which were so delicious we upgraded to a dozen so we'd have some takeout to snack on later. They were filled with rice, chickpeas, and complex and fragrant spices. For our entrees we had palek paneer (spinach and tofu) and abu grobi (cauliflower, potatoe, curry) which both came with a hefty serving of rice and two slices of Naan each. These meals came hot, fresh, and were mouth-wateringly delicious. The hostess was delightful, attentive, and knowledgeable. We will absolutely be stopping here when we're back in Sydney! Thank you

Very nice Pakistan/ Indian restaurant but more Pakistani. Took the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and naan bread. Food was great aside from the Naan bread that was fried making it different from what I wanted. Overall, decent food.

I'm not familiar with Indian/Pakistani food and I wanted to give it a go. I got the Butter Chicken with the extra spicy option. It was amazing! The taste was perfect and it was easily the spiciest thing I've had in Sydney that I haven't had to make myself. Also while it's spicy it's not comically spicy to where you can't eat it.

I like to order naan with it and dipping the naan is the curry is a next level experience. Also it's incredibly filling and reasonably priced.

As for the downside. I've had this place 3 times so far and continue to go again but once the service took forever. I had to wait well over an hour for my order. I don't know if that was on doordash or the restaurant but it was pretty lame. The food was worth the wait though.

Server not polite, very arrogant to the customers as if she is giving something for free, won't recommend

Very bad service. The food was okay but the service was way too bad. The server was very rude. Not satisfied.

Food was terrible as hell I dont recommend Yrr chef made it at Walmart to serve it to those who did not heat it but could do it at home.

$20 for 5 small pieces of boiled chicken in watery unseasoned butter chicken sauce and a bowl of rice.

Went to this restaurant as I love Pakistani and Indian food. What I got wasn’t even close!
Had to ask the waitress 3 times for a glass of water, the starter arrived AFTER the main course had been delivered. The rice was overcooked and reheated in the microwave, you could hear it ping from the kitchen. The Naan bread was fried pizza dough and the curry I ordered was so laced with salt it was inedible! It was supposed to be tikka chicken but was so pale it looked like it had been boiled.
I will never go back, the staff were rude and the food was absolutely awful! I’ve been eating and cooking curries for 40 years and this was the worst I’ve ever tasted.

My husband and I came here for dinner tonight; Great waitress - friendly, happy and knowledgeable. Had fun chatting with Her:). Would recommend this restaurant to all. I'm vegetarian and enjoyed my meal very much! Thank you

Have been exploring options for authentic Pakistani and Indian food and then I tried Mian’s and it ended my long time search. Loved the food. So flavourful and tasty.
Highly recommended.

I recently ordered food from Door Dosh, specifically chole bhature and samosa chat. Unfortunately, both items turned out to be of very poor taste. The chole bhature was excessively oily and was packed without any foil or paper, directly placed in the bag. Moreover, the samosa seemed to have been fried a long time ago, resulting in an unpleasant eating experience.

A nice place to have some Indian Pakistani food. Tried their Samosa Chaat, Pakoda Chaat, Chole Baturey and Mango Lassi. Samosa Chaat gets the best score followed by the Mango Lassi. Minus points for the oil taste on the baturey, which felt a bit off. Very good quantity and sweet service by the girl who was managing the dining area.

So, anything ive bought has been tasty. Quality is definitely there. However, not if you are in a rush or want something quick.

We ordered at 7: 00pm on the mians app and picked it up at 8. I was there at 730. And I do understand and realize quality takes time.

So, good food, but expect a delay when ordering online. 30min+.

First time trying the food there and it was amazing and very nice customer service they were professional and the portion was a ton!:) 10/10 recommend

Worst food I ever ate. I came here twice and just wasted my money here.
Don't come here, this is my recommendation.

I had stay in Sydney for a day and was not expecting any Indian cuisne but I found this place and had very good experience with customer service and food.
Just in $2, a big cup of hot tea that you won't get any where. And Chole-Bhatura's taste was like homemade with less spices.
I defintely recommend to visit this restaurant if you want to have some good Indian or Pakistani food in town as they have lot of delicious items.
I don't know what others say but in a small cold town if someone is trying to grow, should help coz noone is perfect in all kind of manners so just order and enjoy the food and don't mind small things.

Very good. Yummy samosas. Love their butter chicken. It's difficult to have lunch under $20, so be prepared. Better than Swaggarg's, portion wise, I think.
