Middle Head Trailhead

Amazing views. Part of the trail is under construction. But whats available to navigate is rocky but doable.

Beautiful trail with ocean view and good for bird watching.

Length: 3.8 km (2.4 mi) loop
Hiking Time: 1– 2 hours
Elevation: 5–45 m (15–150 ft.)
Interpretive loop. Mostly level with some climbs. Some rocky, rugged sections with exposed tree roots.
Trail Rating: Moderate

Very nice trail. Good for the entire family. You’ll love the views especially once you get on the lower portion of the path.

Annual trek to the point and back. Several sections had suffered washouts and it made traversing more difficult.

La trail est bien entretenu et il y a plusieurs arrêts avec une superbe vue sur la côte. Elle est plutôt facile, alors tout le monde peut venir la faire. A l'arrivée il y a des rochers avec quelques oiseaux et nous avons aperçu des phoques également

Très belle courte randonnée avec de multiples points de vue!
Très agréable.
Notez que la portion de sentier plus au nord de la boucle n'offre aucun point de vue intéressant malgré que la carte affichée au départ semble indiquer le contraire.

It is a moderate hike. We were all breathing hard by the end of it. The views and stunning. Nice cliff to sit and look out over the ocean. Parking lot is small.

Fantastic hike. Views to die for. Walking stick recommended. This is a moderate to hard trail.

Beautifully maintained, enjoyable trail that unfolds mostly through woods with some beautiful coastal views along the way and at the end.

I highly recommend this hike. It’s about 5km, not too difficult, is dog friendly (on leash), and has beautiful views!

This trail was amazing. We enjoyed it so much more than Skyline. Beautiful views the entire way.

Beautiful dramatic views heading out and back, on a lovely sunny day, although unusually hot. Bring water!
