Used to be a favorite spot, years ago. Campground roads are terrible, tons of potholes. Picnic tables are rotten. Premium price for poor upkeep.

Absolutely beautiful! Lovely spectacular river to swim in and take in the views. Large grassy sites with big trees. Very family friendly, quiet and peaceful.
Also park staff was extremely helpful the evening my teen son cut his finger open with his jack knife. Definitely well trained in first-aid and knew just what to do while remaining calm. So grateful!
We have been here many times and will be back again.

Nice but very small and not much parking on the beach over priced on there lots for camping

Très bel endroit. Les sanitaires sont très bien entretenus et propre. Je trouve ordinaire que les personnes à mobilité réduite aient des toilettes sèches et non des toilettes à l'intérieur des sanitaires.

Super beau grand camping, on s'est lavé, on a fait du lavage, il y a une plage, l'espace entre les sites permet l'intimité.

Good place to do a reboot. Clean and serene water. Dog and child friendly.

The park is not well signed. On the main road you will see a small sign with a Nova Scotia flag and the word Park.thats it. Turn left onto Brickyard Road, travel about 2 km, watch for the sign on the left.
We stayed for 6 nights in site 173, a pull through with 2 way connections. The site was clean, very large and level. The comfort station is a short walk. It has washrooms, showers and laundry (the washers are 3 loonies a load, the dryers are 1 loonie for 20 minutes. The washers work great, the dryers so so).
The park employees are friendly and helpful.
The dump station is easy to access, clean, spacious and has lots of water pressure.
At the end of Brickyard Road turn left toward Louisburg, immediately on your right you will see a Shell Gas station.they have everything! Groceries, hardware, prepared foods (delicious) and a liquor store. No need to run into Sydney.

Good place for BBQ. Have visited multiple times with kids. Though, you need booking to enjoy all amenties and stay there for a night or two. But they have open space for day visitors. Would recommend to others.

Very quiet weekend. Cool at night. We weren't allowed a campfire due to the current ban in Nova Scotia, but you make your own adventures.

Very nice campground. Clean restrooms. Some sites with water views. Lots of grass for walking our dog. Gravel driveways and pads. Wifi at the office. There is a laundry room but I haven't used it yet. No signage at the entrance though; GPS got the location wrong but my google phone map worked great. Easy drive to Sydney for groceries, etc
