I have been to so many Indian restaurant, but Mirchi tandoor food is so much delicious, authentic Indian taste of spices. There clay oven food is very nice. Kitchen teams are very professional, all are worked in renown five-star hotels. Wishing a good luck to All Mirchi Tandoor Staff.

Best indian food in halifax. I have few dishes but all of them were perfectly cooked and the quantity was worth the money. My personal favourite was Pav Bhaji (super tasty).

Last weekend I and my friends had dinner at mirchi tandoor on the occasion of my brother's birthday. I really appreciate the services provided by the mirchi tandoor as they serve services to all people equally because I have observed it they serve so quickly, we ordered lots of things on that day and I think we got our food after 20 minutes approximately after ordering it this is the reason it is one of the famous restaurants in halifax and so many people love to visit here. The main thing of food is taste which is brilliant hats off to the chief and his team who cooks such a good food. If you visit there then you should try each and every dish because all are tasty specially the soya chap tandoori, kadai panner, pav bhaji, samosa chat these are the best dish by him which I liked the most. Even, my brothers loved the non-vegetarian food made by him. So, In my perspective all should go and try food there. Also, they present food in punjabi dhaba style which remind us memory of Punjab. Even, the owner comes to everyone's table to confirm all is good did which is also a good point. Overall, I suggest you to go there to enjoy there brilliant services and best taste.

One of the WORST place you can dine in to experience Indian Cuisine. The biggest thing about Indian culture is their hospitality and this restaurant lacks in it big time, they won’t take your order and will ignore you until your whole group is at the place. We ordered our appetizers and the moment we started to eat it, the waitresses was on our head to ask for the main course food if we want to. Kept on checking on us after every 5 minutes to see how much time we are going to to take to finish our food so that they can prepare the table for the other people who are waiting. If you cannot serve people, why would you offer to dine in? The place is small, chaotic, and tables attached to one another with small spaces. You can literally listen people talking. I won’t recommend this place for dine - in. One of the worst place to when it comes to hospitality and service. Most of the food item are pre cooked and tasteless. There are far better restaurants available in the city.

Why you don’t give utensils while ordering from Uber eats even giving a prior call. Otherwise the chicken fried rice is good but won’t satisfy with your service. So on basis of bad service 1 star for you guys

It was good. Upto today we were rating tava grill as first but yesterday we went to mirchi I ordered butter tandoori roti with amritsari chole and my husband made prawn gravy, chicken tandoori with rice. The veg dishes were 4/5 and non veg 4/5. He said tandoori was dame good than tava but in prawn and rice tava beated mirchi. So in first expression itself still tava grill dominate mirchi tandor

The curry was salty and spicy yet flavourless. Four pieces of chicken drenched in sauce. The rice they use is weird and hard. The naan was good. Not worth it.

I wasn't sure about the food, that lady supervisor was extremely rude and arrogant because we called her 2 hours ago to reserve a table, but she couldn't managed a table for me and wife and when we arrived at the restaurant, she didn't accept our order and talked very unprofessionally without even listening and make inappropriate faces in front of customer#Pathetic service #not worth to recommend

Nice place to have punjabi food, we ordered chicken lababdar, paneer butter masala, mango lassi, dal makhani and malai kofta and everything was good. Also ordered butter roti and chili garlic naan and they were soft and tasty. If someone has not eaten punjabi food in canada before and trying to compare it to what we get in India, then you can try it. Quantity of food was also satisfactory.

It’s a great experience, the staff is very welcoming and extremely great service, food was really tasty butter chicken and daal makhni is awesome and can’t wait to try again.

I tried Mirchi Tandoor with my friends (group of 12) and all of us loved it. They have best veg noodles (indo-Chinese) in town. We also ordered Malai kofta and karai paneer and it was yum! Totally recommend.

Such a nice cozy restaurant with welcoming owner & nice staff. The food is top notch. I love all of their dishes. This time we had Hakka noodles & Veg biryani & they were super delicious.it’s my comfort place to eat best Indian food.

The food at this place is too too good! But the only issue of this place is the supervisor lady’s attitude. She is so so rude and arrogant. The way she alots table and respond to your requests is so unsatisfactory. I would say the servers at this place have much better customer service skills than the manager itself who is too far from customer dealing skills. Her attitude at this place is such a mood spoiler. Get a new supervisor guys because your food is just awesome but her attitude is spoiling the taste.

Delicious food. Warm and pleasant service. Hats off to the lady at the counter who works tirelessly alongside her little baby. Will definitely come back.

We were in downtown Halifax and looking for a place to eat when we decided to check this place out as you could smell the aroma of tasty Indian food as you got near the restaurant.

It is a fairly small restaurant and seemed very popular as it was packed but after a wait we were able to get a table, The menu was fairly large so it was hard for me to choose what to have (a good problem), I eventually opted for the Lamb Shank Biryani with Chilly Garlic Naan. I thought the food tasted excellent and it was extremely filling. I could barely finish the meal despite finding it to be delicious. The price was very reasonable for what you got.

The staff were very helpful in helping us out as one of us had a food allergy so they took particular care in helping him find a dish that he could eat safely.

Being in downtown Halifax it has the usual issues of trying to get parking close to it, but that is not a reflection of the restaurant more of the whole area. They also have delivery options as I noticed a number being picked up while we were there.

REALLY BAD FOOD! I had a really bad experience. I ordered food online from uber eats, there was pav bhaji, samosa chaat, kadai paneer, dal tadka, rice and naans. Samosa chat was too dry to eat, there was no curd, sauces, or taste! It was too blend. Pav bhaji was too sour instead of a bit spicy. The side salad of onions was supposed to be red onions but they were silver onions with beet roots and vinegar, and it was NOT TASTING GOOD! I have heard so much about this restaurant and I was not expecting this bad taste. SORRY but not happy with the taste!

Food is great but the seating is not ok, tables are put too close together and restaurant has no ventilation so by the time you leave you are pretty much smelling of food on top of the air inside being murky because of how many people are seated. 4 stars for food and service, would recommend take outs over dining in.

Food quality and service is great, but bit crowdy so plan in advance to avoid any delays.

It’s the best place to have Indian food in Halifax. The food is delicious across the menu which is hard to achieve. The manager does a great job making sure that all the guests are taken care of. It’s not easy to handle so many waiting customers in a smaller setting with a baby beside her. A great experience and definitely recommend!

Le repas était extraordinaire, savoureux. La sauce est à tomber! Le service est avenant et courtois. Les quantités sont correctes. Seule la déco mériterait un peu d'amour, mais c'est si bon que c'est plein à craquer quand même!

Service was prompt, tough to find a table during weekends I guess, we were lucky to get one.

Booking a table was not even and option and the telephone assistant on phone was not very kind (I felt like) but overall experience is 4.5/5

Super delicious food, we had lamb biriyani, Tandoori chicken, naan bread, and a dessert I forgot the name. Big portion, fair price. I have to mention the owner and stuff are super friendly, definitely will go back! Highly recommended!

Honestly the best indian food I had in halifax. I ordered veg hakka noodles and asked to make it extra spicy. It turned out to be so amazing and I was missing this type of taste in noodles since I was in india. I also ordered vegetable biryani and it was great too. I would recommend everyone who wants to have spicy veg noodles they should try from mirchi tandoor.
