It was pretty good but, the servings were smaller than most other Chinese restaurants, I've ordered from and cost more. I didn't like it as much as some others, but, it could be just my preference, for crispy egg roll shells.

Had a big order from here yesterday and it was so good… my food was ready on time for pick up, amazing friendly front staff… I find the food here getting better and better and I had left overs thank you

A traditional Canadian Chinese restaurant with friendly staff. It’s the only option in the area and is worth trying. It can be inconsistent though.

This was one of the worst chinese food restaurants in the HRM.overwhelmed with the amount of curry in the chicken soo gi.the ginger beef was some sort of batter chicken with a sweet sauce. “Where’s the beef “. Price was to much for what we got.nope will not be reordering again.

Went here 2 days ago made the 40 min drive from Chester to get some good Chinese food since I’ve had it before and it was great. However this time not so much at all paid $75 which was fine the portion sizes were half the size they were before egg rolls soggy wontons over cooked dry and hard. The worst part and the reason I am actually taking the time to write this review is to let people know that my family got the worst case of food poisoning off the fried rice from here. My 4 year old being hit the worst with it. I’m not typing this because I want my money back or because I want anything free trust me I don’t! My family and I will never be ordering anything from this restaurant again. My mother in law also ordered the same day as me and she also became sick off her meal and ended up having to throw her left overs away.very disappointing.

This was exactly what I wanted and needed. The inside was dated, but what they didn’t spend on renovations they spent on keeping the menu affordable. I got the special, which was enough food for a big lunch, and a big lunch the next day.

The server suggested the lemon chicken and she was right! I will say that the chicken balls and lemon chicken were some of the best I have had in some time, with light crispy breading and lots of meat.

The veggie chow mein that my partner got was lacking, it needed more flavour. If it had a extra sauce it would have been just right.

The veggie egg roll was delicious! I had never had a curry egg roll before, but it was crispy and flavourful but not too much!

Overall it’s not fine dining, but it’s affordable and exactly what I’m looking for when I want Canadian Chinese food.

Decided to try this restaurant. The appearance leaves a lot to be desired and could use a bit more cleaning and updating to say the least however the food was delicious, hot, fresh and plentiful. We had the combo special of the day and was very pleased with the food. The waitress was very pleasant and tentative to the dine-in customers along with my husband and myself. Prices were on pare with other Chinese restaurants. Again good food but the dining area needs a cleaning and update.

I find the bad reviews on here to be unfair to the business. I've been getting food here for atleast 15 years and haven't had any issues.
The dining room is a bit dated and could certainly use some love.

The lemon chicken, curry beef and spring rolls are my favorites.

I had Moon Tong about around 3-4 years ago and remember not being impressed/ liking the food at the time.
My partner and I Decided to give them a try again two nights ago, we ordered the combo plate C7 - beef and broccoli/ chicken balls and the chef’s special goo lo pork, we found the portions were large with enough for the two of us and we had leftovers for the next day. We enjoyed the food tasted great!

Wanted to post a review as there were a lot of 1 star horror stories that would have stopped me from considering this place. This was not my experience. Food was hot, fresh and on par with your standard Chinese takeout; nothing surprisingly innovative but exactly as expected. Service was also on par with expectations; food was ready when they said, checkout was great, prices were good. Would order from here again, no question.

It was good! I'll order take out from here again. My first time getting take out, my order was on time and fresh. Chicken Chow Mein was great with large delicious pieces of chicken throughout. When I went inside to pick up my order there were others eating in the dining area and the phone rang multiple times with other people making orders in the few minutes I was there - always a good sign!

Food isn’t horrible, but is nothing special, just run of the mill Chinese food.they wouldn’t substitute chop suey for ghai ding. All I wanted was a veggie roll, veggie rice, and veggie gahi ding and apparently that’s impossible. Was about to spend 50$+ on other things but I’ll take my money elsewhere

This was hands down the best food I’ve ever had the opportunity to get food poisoning from. It tastes the same coming up as it does going down.

Got take out here and we loved it very much! Very generous portions of food. Going to pick up dinner for tonight.

The mini egg rolls, rice and spare ribs are super yummy here. Really did not enjoy the beef and broccoli or the general tao chicken however; it was very slimy tasting sadly.the restaurant really needs to focus on their cleaning component. The tables are always quite dirty still, and god forbid you get a plum sauce bottle because the tops are gunked up really bad and normally have food on them. Even the salt and pepper shakers are dirty. I think overall cleanliness is super important in maintaining the overall look of this place. However you want some tasty egg rolls - this is 1000% this place. And I can’t ever get enough of their rice.

I don't like giving bad reviews, but.the chairs were all filthy, rice was burnt, even the sauce jar brought to us by the staff had old rice sitting on top of it.
This place would have so much potential if only it had a really REALLY deep cleaning throughout.
