Worst experience ever. I went in with my family to try on suits for my daughters wedding. The salesman was rude and abrupt with us after trying on the first suit. We ended up walking out and will now find another store

Avoid Moores Dartmouth Crossing at all costs! We went to Moores because my fiancé needed a custom suit for our wedding. Unfortunately, it is really the only place around that does custom suits that aren't going to cost you $1000. I wish we just splurged with a different place as the amount of money we spent on gas to drive back and forth so they could fix their many mistakes probably would have worked out to be the same amount.

We started with the DC location because it was the closest to us. We should have turned around once we walked in. I don’t that think the place has been cleaned since 2019, and everyone working seemed to be confused as to where they were or what their job was. After about 45 minutes he was finally getting his measurements done and I just had this terrible feeling the person doing it really did not have a clue. BUT that is their job so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Skip ahead to a month or so later when the suit was ready.we go in to try it on and not one thing fit properly. The pants were too small, the jacket was way too big, and the sleeves on the white shirt were too short
After speaking to a few of my friends about this experience I was told the Mumford Rd location was the place to go! So, I called and told them what happened and they said yup bring it in we will fix it! That location, although no cleaner, the people at least looked like they knew what they were doing. The girl helping us was great, she reordered everything but the jacket (she took in the jacket) we were feeling good! Well, after being told his suit was ready, we went into Halifax and he got handed his pants… I asked where the rest of it was…. After searching for a good 5-10 minutes he came back with everything *Phew* I thought…. Until I saw that the jacket still had the pins in them and that it was very clearly still the old white shirt. He apologized and said he will put those on the Tailors desk RIGHT now so she sees them first thing in the morning. As annoying as it was that we just went in for the pants I am glad we did as they were STILL too small So, buddy said no problem we will just take them out a bit.

Fast forward to 2 days ago. We go to pick up the suit, jacket is great, shirt is great, but pants are STILL too small. But, I really would rather his pants not perfectly fit than to have to go to Moores ever again…so we took the suit and left.

Moral of the story; avoid all Moores.

**I don't ever write bad reviews but I thought this was very necessary.

A friend bought me a suit at Moore’s in Toronto brought it back to Nova Scotia and it didn’t fit properly. I went to Moores in Dartmouth crossing and the customer service was awesome one of the best stores I would recommend for suits.

I like the quality of the cotton shirts I buy from Moores. Also, the customer service is usually great, for both Dartmouth and Halifax locations.

The manager Michael is amazing. He set me up to purchase an amazing custom suit and was extremely helpful. I walked in not expecting much and left feeling extremely happy. I’ll be shopping at Moore’s from now on for all of my suits. Michael very clearly cares about suits and that’s important to me, he answered my questions with knowledge and passion and really turned me into a fan of the company!

Purchased a couple sport shirts and ties as they were buy one get one free. They were very friendly and helped me get the best deal possible, I will definitely go back sometime.

This company is the king of hidden fees. If you go in with that knowledge you may come out closer to your budget. They have a huge selection of suits, shirts, pants and accessories. Customer service is a bit slow and sometimes they leave you standing for 30 minutes or so, but not the staff's fault, they are taking care of their customers, but knowing it's as busy as it is maybe a few more staff would help out. I rented clothes for 5 people for my wedding. 1 of them came in too small and two of they came in damaged. My nephew actually had to go buy a shirt somewhere else because the replacement for his original shirt didn't get in until the afternoon of my wedding. I have lots of highs and lows for these guys. Too bad there aren't many other places doing rentals.

Not a great experience.

Hard to get a hold of anyone when calling. Very poor communication skills. (Did not get back to me when they said they would)

Waited a long time for an order. I ended up having to pick up part of the order myself in Halifax.

The people were nice tho.

We had the BEST experience at this Moores in Dartmouth Crossing! 11 days before graduation for my son and Keith was absolutely amazing! He took such good care of our son and knew his stuff. Thank you so much Keith, we appreciate everything you did for us and your expertise!

The staff at Moore's - to a person - go so far above and beyond to help their customers. Today 2 staff scoured the entire store to find every possible example of what I was looking for. Made me feel like royalty. Oh, and the best part? Their clothes are high quality and durable and always fairly priced. I cannot recommend Moore's (any location, but especially Dartmouth Cross) highly enough. You folks are so good at what you do!

I have never in my life been so disappointed in a companies service.

Moors has not called to inform ANY of the groomsmen that their suits have arrived.

My fiancé ordered a custom suit, no phone call to say it was in, after months of waiting we showed up to check on it, to find out it has been sitting out back for two months, and not one employee took the time to call in a two month period.

We ordered matching belts as gifts for our groomsmen, also no phone call to tell us that 5/6 have arrived, and sitting there for weeks with no phone call.

After waiting on my fiancé’s belt for the wedding to arrive, you guessed it no phone call. So today, he went in to check just like we had to do for everything else and they sold his belt to someone else this week because ‘his wedding was this weekend’ and are now going to order my fiancé in a new belt, and out wedding is only two weeks away, but they are going to ‘express ship it to get it here on time’

Honest to god, worst experience of my life.

When you spend $5000 for everything you expect way better service.

If this situation isn’t made right I will go out of my way to tell everyone how terrible this has been and point them in the direction of the other suit companies in Halifax.

Step your game up moors, when people are planning weddings the last thing they need is to deal with your guys lack of responsibility.

Had to get a tailored suit for a last minute wedding I was asked to attend, the gentleman who assisted me was knowledgeable, and they were able to get the suit tailored fast. It looked great on the day. And will serve well in the coming years.

My hubby rented his suit and all his groomsmen suits here! We got a great price, awesome selection to match our colours, and were able to tailor the suit to our style. Everything was on time, as ordered and looked great. Very easy and positive experience! They even work with David's Bridal for colour matching. Highly recommended!

My experience here was excellent! I was helped by Keith and John. I had an important interview to attend on short notice, and it had been a while since dusted off what I already owned. I was was ready for something fresh and new. Keith was extremely good at sizing and pairing with impeccable taste in shoes. John was nothing short of fantastic when it came time to add some fair to the outfit. Both gentleman worked together well to set me up with a great new outfit! The price was right and the quality of the product felt great. More importantly I entered my interview feeling like million bucks and I nailed it! Thanks Keith and John! Be back soon.

Prices I believe are good (minimal experience with this) but the Hubby is happy with the value he gets. I love how put together the staff is as they all wear suits and are well trained at their jobs.

Great experience in the store but not so great once we got home. Jasmin was excellent helping us pick out a sport jacket, shirt and tie for a funeral. Made it so easy and quick. So fast that our 4 year old didn’t even have time to complain. Excellent service. Unfortunately the shirt was way to big and will need to be exchanged. We asked if my husband should try it on and we were told it wasn’t necessary because she fitted him based on his measurements.

They talk the talk but do not follow through. I purchased 2 pairs of pants, 3 shirts and socks. The pants require hemming so they advised to wash them first and then get them hemmed. I did so and returned three days later to pick them up, I tried them on to see they were too short. They had no more in stock so brought them in from Quebec. I once again do had them marked for hemming and was advised they would be completed on Thursday, when I returned on Friday to pick them up. They only then noticed that they were no hemmed. Unbelievable to have such poor service! It has been two weeks and I still do not have the pants that I paid for!

Bought a couple suits last week. Dan was very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. Received a slip to pick up following week. Not a good pick up experience. Was running late but decided to stop by after work to pick them up. They were not ready. Waited for them to find them and was told they were not ready. Wasted trip. Salesperson borderline rude. Sad how a bad experience at the end can ruin the whole experience.
