Went in to order food and they would not serve us because "they decided to close early"

The owner did not do any substitutions on anything. That’s ok. I still bought it. No fortune cookies unless you’re dinning in. But gave me some. Good food. But could be nicer with accommodating a little change. All good.

Knocked it out of the park again. Food was flavourful, service is always friendly, and atmosphere is great!
Restaurant is really clean and well worth a sit down.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone.

We stopped here when looking for a place to eat while driving to Halifax. What a pleasant surprise. Food came out quickly, food was some of the best Chinese I have had in a long time and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stop to eat on a roadtrip

Went to Mr 10 for the first time in a long time. There are new owners, new menu, new restaurant and WOW the food is amazing. So fresh and so much. I had a lunch special and there was enough for me to have lunch and supper. I would highly recommend anyone that likes chinese food to try this place. Will be back there soon.

The new owners are amazing! The restaurant is bright and clean now. Owners and staff super friendly. Food is so good and fresh. Highly recommend for everyone to come try the new menu.

Went for supper tonight and tried this dish. It was amazing. They have never failed to make something that has such depth of flavour and visually appealing. Many more dishes on the menu I am looking forward to trying

I ordered Cantonese Chow Mein, 2 Spring Rolls and 2 Egg Rolls last evening. The chow mein was not as ordered, very salty, small serving and the egg rolls were over cooked. Never again.

Visited Mr 10 Truro and the food was great. Would choose to get Chinese food here over anywhere else!

Just went here tonight the lady was amazing at the front taking and serving orders she's a keeper should get a raise. Food wise I wanted chicken balls I got soggy chicken that looked like deep fried shrimp not balls. Chicken fried rice is ok but the chicken looks like it was cooked and fast choped up in big chuncks and chucked in it. Also found Onions in my rice had never seen that in any Chinese place and not everyone likes them. Beef and Broccoli was amazing beef could have been cooked more but is that very same as the other Chinese place on prince street whom do cook there food alot better mind you. My husband on his chicken what ever you call what they are serving deffently not chicken balls as they display on the menu had plum sauce not carry as he had asked for. So we will never go back to mr 10 and if we did it be because of the friendly server they have working there. I give 1 star but the nice lady gets all 5 i think her kindness gets all the tips as its all paid for before getting the food. Judging by the reviews this place is going under shut it down not good at all.

Highest Recommendation! New Management, Dec. 1,2022. Everything was absolutely delicious, very best Chinese food we ever had! We ordered the dinner for 2, and the fried won tons. Great won tons and sauce, the chicken fried rice had a delicious smokey flavor, excellent chicken balls, excellent almond gai din, every dish was very fresh and delicious. Very helpful and friendly service/staff as well. Will definitely return.

Stopped in tonight for the first time since they've reopen- service was 10/10 the lovely lady at the service desk even brought our food out to our car which was super sweet! The food was ok, I was really looking forward to the big juicy chicken balls mr. 10 use to offer but was sadly disappointed with deep fried battered chicken in plum sauce: (beef & broccoli was spot on 9/10 but the chicken fried rice had burnt pieces through it and was really dry! Mr. 10 use to be my go to place for good Chinese food, I'm sadden to have to write this!

Most authentic Chinese cuisine in Truro, as a Chinese I have to say that. You could feel the power and gas of the pot, which made it taste like traditional Chinese cuisine.

If you're craving Chinese Food, this is the place to go. Portions are huge and delicious. Dine in or take out. Also have delivery. Check out their menu!

I don't know how they stay in business. I have tried ordering several times over the past few months but no one every picks up the phone. Not going to bother with this place.

I have tried multiple times to get these people to answer the phone to place an order. They never answer the phone and always hang up in my ear before I even get a response. Pathetic, absolutely pathetic.

Complete Joke of a business. Placed blame on us for not listenting when ordering, argued and much more. Dont go there ever again. Will never recommend them, dont ever go there. Tons of other places to go that offer way better food, service & all around quality. 4 years going here and never coming back

The food is great, glad to have gone in this small place a few years ago near the start of the pandemic. Great portions!

Tried your food again today after a very disappointing meal last year. Consistent with my first experience, got combo 1 (rice, chicken balls & egg roll) The sauce on the chicken balls was ok. The rest was not ok. Bland food. Egg roll slime filling is just terrible. I actually bagged it back up to return it, but it wasn't even worth my effort to go back.

Please remove false pricing in the windows. Your sign still states 5.99 for a lunch special, the sign has been up for years. Your inside menu has the lunch specials for 9.50 with an egg roll and pop. You didn't give me any pops with the 3 specials. Food is ok but not great, very disappointed in pricing.

The lady that served us was extremely rude. She spoke to us in such an angry tone. When I asked for no sauce. She said what? !? ! In an angry tone. I said nevermind. She said what? ! You don't want food! I told her yes. I want the food. She said ready in 20 minutes when I picked up the food. I asked for soya sauce. She said already in bag! Like so annoyed that I even asked. I couldn't help but speak up. Told her that her that she had very bad customer service and that her tone was very rude. ⅞customer service

Traveling through and won't try this place again. Ordered dinner for 3. Chicken balls bland, fried rice bland, sauces bland. Ribs were good but messy. Very disappointed to have chow mein replaced with chop suey with no warning or explanation.

Didn't even get to order food. I called and tried to see what they could do to accommodate for a vegan friendly noodle option. After asking a couple questions regarding the menu I was hung up on.

The food is good, but they either just don't bother answering their phone or need to update their business hours because half the time I call there's no answer.

The food is good and the portions are big. I enjoy the food always but find the cashier to be not as friendly as one would wish when dealing with a customer. Food is good so I guess we can deal with the counter staff as no one gets injured anyway. If eating in, the table is bare of any plate napkins or table coverings and that makes me a bit uncomfortable.

A good little Chinese place, I went in and had a combination plate. Service was good, I was the only customer that nigjt I went in. Nothing spectacular but reasonably priced

The food was pretty good however the service that we got was very bad. We came in and found a table and quickly reviewed the take-out menu. We made it clear we wanted to dine in. We asked questions because of the gluten-free options. We were surprised to see wonton soup as an option. She replied with, that's not gluten free! I said then you have a typo on your menu. She seemed annoyed that we were asking anything at all. As we sat and waited; she said the food was ready. She made the order to go. I said I wanted to dine in with my mom. I noticed that there wasn't even utensils in the bag. She saw us unpack the food at the table. She did not offer plates or proper utensils. She gave us plastic forks that couldn't hold the food on them. Nothing more than a baby bite at a time. Me and my mom were straining our necks to reach the styrofoam container in the middle of the table. We weren't offered anything to drink either.

We won't be returning; we wasted $30.

The food was fresh and hot. The price are reasonable. The portion is good! The food tastes fantastic! Will be back.

Ordered EGG ROLL and got and got some kind of roll. Perhaps folk think we dumb Canadians don't care? As well the "rolls" were only half full of filling. The can of Pepsi was OK. If pricey. Bit of a let down. I bought em for my hungry gf. Not scoring any points with her this nite.

Used to have good food but going down hill recently. Food was not very good and they did not provide an extra plate or fork for child.
