We stopped for ice cream and ate outside. Great sized portions, and perfect for a hot day. It was nice to have soft and hard serve options:)

Dont get the softserve in a cone because it melts so fast.

We stopped here for ice cream in the summer and wow their portions are huge! A large ice cream cone is about a foot tall and the pup cup is bigger than a medium sunday from DQ! Very decent on their pricing too. I would highly recommend stopping here on your journey through the Cabot Trail.

I went there to buy some chicken. After seeing the prices i left the premises immediately. Their prices do not match the business around them. Maybe their taste is really good. The shop is super easy to find. You will see their boards everywhere.

DO NOT MISS THIS SPOT. Best fried chicken I’ve had in a while. The chicken fingers were so soft, hot and crisp. The seasoning was spot on. Perfectly spiced. We gobbled them up. The fries also great, crispy and perfectly soft! Fried chicken was also delectable, low on the Salt so you can add some but nonetheless amazing. GO HERE FOR BANGER FOOD.

We had very delicious food in a unique place.a very nice and pretty employee explained a lot to us about the history of the acadians.a great experience

Amazing service! The staff was cracking jokes and spoke French to us. Also the food was delicious and at a fair price. I totally recommend it.

Great place to grab a bite if you find yourself in Cape Breton. Hope to go back again soon!

Good fried chicken with a spice that tastes like Old Bay in the mix. Took a bit but staff was nice and helpful and communicTed clearly. Well worth the stop.

I'm really impressed with this spot. That chicken is to die for. Better than KFC, Mary Browns, Popeys and A&K. We got a ton of food for a good value. Highly recommended and I will be back

Arrived after lunch after doing the Cabot trail. Lady and the counter was friendly and approachable. The food was fresh and out to us fairly quickly.

Crème glacée délicieuse: flurry aux kit-kat (avec crème glacée au chocolat) et crème glacée dure aux noisettes.
Possibilité de se faire servir en français.
Belle vue sur la mer. Tables à pic-nic.

I always love the chicken here wherever I get a chance to visit. The batter is so flavorful and delicious!

On my last visit, I was in and out with my order (placed at the counter) within five minutes. Very efficient!

It was the only place we could find that was open and we ended up being here.

The fried chicken was really salty and had a lot of oil in it. I know it’s friend chicken but the oil was more.
Their chicken popcorns were good but it’s very expensive is what I felt.
But should thank these ppl to be there to serve food when other places are closed around.

So, we didn't actually have chicken here. They actually have a nice ice cream parlour as well, good scoops good price and lots of picnic table seating.

Chicken was way too salty. I think the batter was pure salt. 3 piece and fries was only a 2 piece as one was litterly a battered piece of bone.fries were basically mcCains crinkle cut fries nothing special and the gravy well we asked for a small and oh it was small all right. Extremely small but not cheap by no means.small gravy should actually be called the mini gravy but at $2.50 you would certainly expect a little bigger. Also I would recommend that the workers in back always wear hair nets, and not scratch at their head or chin while in food prep area or be eating and playing with their cellphone while getting food ready. Bill was $36.19 for 2 - 3 piece with fries and a extremely small gravy which is a bit pricey. Tried it and I can honestly say it was not good at all.unless you like deep fried salt and nothing but.

Came here based on reviews from YouTube.
Dined in around 5pm. Ordered 5 pieces plus small fries. Chicken was VERY dry, fries nothing special. Total disappointment. Should have gone to the BelleView Restaurant instead.

Best chicken on cape Breton Island, excellent poutine too, milkshakes and ice cream, best fast food spot in Cheticamp.

I feel like Mister Chicken is a Chéticamp staple since it's been there a pretty long time. I stopped in to get some chicken strips and clams and the food was decent for what it is. I found the service to be a bit.gruff.but honestly I was just there for a quick bite and that's exactly what I got.

Ailes de poulet succulentes. Par contre poutine avec du mozzarella râpé. Désolé c'est pas comme ça qu'on fait

By far the worst service I’ve ever had in my life. The Cashier must’ve been sleeping on the wrong side of the bed for weeks. Somebody fire that woman definitely doesn’t feel like she wants to work there. Food was good but would’ve been better if she actually got my order right.

We had fried chicken at this place and then ice-cream as desert. The chicken was very well made, a bit salty to us but overall no complant. A bucket of chicken of 14 pieces fed well 5 of us and still 3 pieces left over.

The ice-creams were delicious, some of the flavour combinations were surprisingly interesting! We all felt good stopping at this place towards the end of our Cabot trail loop.

Extrêmement décevant! Je ne comprends pas les bons commentaires ici. Non seulement très cher pour de la malbouffe mais en plus leur “Hot chicken burger” n est même pas un burger comme on s y attend: c est du poulet fade entre deux morceaux de pain avec de la sauce brune de poutine fade. Aucun geste commercial lorsque j ai fait la remarque. Le personnel est d un désagréable affligeant!

Kind of a mixed review, the burger was delicious. The fries were McCain crinkle fries which for a restaurant like this you expect home made fries. We also bought $8 worth of popcorn chicken, when I received it, there was enough to fit in one hand. Very small portion for $8. Probably wouldn't come by again on our next trip and try something else in the area.

Lady at front counter was so rude. We went there twice but she was literally showing attitude. Food was good and delicious but customer service is very poor
