Very bad restaurant and food,
I tried butter naan it’s look like rubber, like plastic and Sahi paneer really bad very bad taste overall 0 star restaurant

I ordered shrimp biryani for $18.00 plus tax but i did not seem to get so much shrimp from my biryani and the shrimp is frozen which you can buy in a grocery store.i expected authentic indian cuisine but sadly this is not the best.the rice is okay but it is not really fresh the onions added to it taste like yesterday's leftover. The mango lassi is good but i need to taste more mango in it. The server is outstanding though.i am not coming back here i hope you improve the food.

Food was sooooooooooo delicious… We ordered amritsari kulcha and it was the best i would say. I don’t give reviews generally but this time i could not resist myself.

I visited there with my friends…food was super tasty as well as quantity is also good as compared to another restaurants. I can say this is the best Indian restaurant in halifax.

Experience was so good. And customer service is the best. Its underrated i dont know why. But the food was very good especially jamun sweet was delicious. Customer service is too good. Unfortunately i forgot the name. He was smiley and tall. He did the best service. We ordered nans and panner curry and chicken tandoori pieces. Everything was good. Quantity was good to. Veg biryani is not kind of indian. Its a bit costly i felt.

Worst experience ever. The second worst Indian restaurant after Curry Village. Spoilt my birthday dinner. Staff was non- cooperative. Served some totally different daal and claimed it to be dal makhni. Shahi paneer was way too sweet, felt like eating sweety water. Do not ever go.

Saturday evening browsing through Uber Eats I thought to myself to give Naan n’ Curry one other shot. I’ve been severely disappointed by their service and food however this time I thought let me try again and see if they have changed.

I was disappointed to say the least. I waited an hour and a half and they kept telling the driver it’ll be done it’ll be done. When I called to ask instead of helping the girl lied about the driver running late. I was shocked? She blamed the poor Uber driver waiting there for over 20 mins because she didn’t want to take responsibility. That’s a lack of morals and ethics and I for one chose to not engage in business with any restaurant lacking morals and customer service. Kindly improve your service- it’s what will have people returning back.

I’ll never be returning again!

Worth biriyani I had in this canada. It's so sweet I never felt like a biriyani. Please think before ordering.

Worst Kerala parotta I ever saw in my life. Better to remove it from menu. I don't think the chef had ever saw what Kerala parotta looks like.

The chicken biriyani is extremely bad. I have even seen many reviews about the chicken biriyani before from this restaurant but I thought that why not I try the food from here. But it turns out that the people who have given their reviews before were 100% accurate. Please do not eat the chicken biriyani from here. Unless they are willing to improve.

Walk in was greeted by scowling faces.
Nobody said anything we weren't sure if we seated ourselves and not a single staff member waited on us.
We stood silently for a few minutes then just walked out.
Get nicer staff.
Wouldnt know what the food is like because your staff aren't nice

My girlfriend and I wanted to go to the restaurant where we had our first date. We were the only customers. The waitress wanted us to sit near the kitchen because she “didn’t want to walk that far. ” We took a seat next to the window where we could watch life outside the restaurant. This table is where we had our first date. The waitress wasn’t done. Next she tells us she wants us to move, “to have a bigger table. ” I tell her we want to sit next to the window. She’s upset. She’s got a knot in her face when she brings our food. After about 10 minutes she hollers from the kitchen end of the restaurant, “how is your food? ”
The food is great. Authentic, fresh ingredients. The waitress has an attitude that reflects poorly on the restaurant. I’m going to take my business elsewhere for a while. Good luck.

We had a stone in our palak paneer and accidentally went in my mouth. The server told the supervisor issue and the supervisor came to our table and super rude, blaming us bringing the stone questioning us where it came from. We should be asking them where it came from. This supervisor really need to work on his customer service skills and we don’t treat customers this way in Canada. Really unhygienic place to eat and rude unprofessional supervisor. Incident happened on October 20/2022 at 9: 44pm. If the owner of the restaurant want to connect happy to chat this is real customer complain I have pictures and receipts.

We went there for dine in and waited for literally 55 minutes and they were serving the Uber delivery drivers first and when we asked where is the food and they were still saying 10 more minutes and the servor does not even have the sense to talk. Worst experience till now in Halifax.

Amazing flavor, have been here 2 times now and will certainly return. Authenticity is the absolute best and highly recommend!

Butten Naan and amritsari kulcha were best. Paneer Tikka masala was very tangy. Then we tried channa masala and even it was tangy. Looks like their base sauce itself it not tasty. Very average restaurant. The Taste of India in scotia Square was much better than this restaurant.

Somebody please help them to teach how to make biriyani. Rice doesn't have any flavor not even salt and chicken also doesn't have any flavor similar to biriyani one of my worst experience. Paid around $19 for this.

Order an hour before getting there and was told it would be ready in 45 mins arrive after an hour to find out the order was never even made and was forced to sit and wait now for the order to be done pathetic and lost my business for good

I would have given zero if possi, they got zero manners to deal i waited for almost 45 minutes for my food for which i was told 10 to 15 minutes most

Great restaurants. Good food with great ambiance. Really like our dinner. Tge garlic naan breads were very big and tasty. The Curries were perfectly seasoned with correct spices. Would definitely recommend going to the restaurant. They even have daily specials which are both tasty and affordable. Must go.

Great Pakistani restaurant with friendly and welcoming staffs. If you are looking for Halal options then this is one of the best places to consider in the city. I ordered the Chicken Biriyani and another day I ordered Naan and Tandoori Chicken. Both times I had full satisfaction on the taste of the food and the service provided by their awesome staffs. I will visit them again next time when I am at Halifax.

This is worst indian shop I’ve ever went in Halifax city for real. If you wanna go and fill your tummy go ahead but don’t expect a delicious one you will be disappointed. Unreal folks hire some better cook.

I bought 6 samosas and i paid 3 dollars for 2 and these samosas are not worth it because these are very small in size and it feels like samosas have polio so they shrunk.

Working my way thru all the dishes. On about my 5th visit. May be the best value in Halifax. Always get dinner and enough to heat up for lunch the next day. Butter Chicken to die for and Garlic Naan exquisite!

Food was good. Restaurant was cold inside did not want to take off our coats and the service was not good.
We had ordered appetizers and used the three plates the server gave us. We then stacked them at the end of the table when we were finished and she then asked us if we wanted clean plates for our meal! Yes please!
She did not bring a glass with the cider I ordered.
I would not drink from a bottle! She was also very slow taking the order and there was only one other table with customers in there! My daughter wanted to leave from the get go, but we thought we would give her the benefit of the doubt.
To sum up I think she might have been inexperienced,
she did seem pleasant enough.

Pathetic service and bad quality of food.
We ordered food first and waited for like 30 mins just to get starters. The quality of food was not as expected and only one waiter was giving service to all the other diners.

I ordered food online by mistake and I went early to pick it up. I told one of the employees over there to let us sit and eat as we have to drive 3 hours. But they said we had to choose another place to sit and eat late at night. This is not acceptable at all. The food was ok

We were visiting from Fredericton. I don't usually review restaurants, but the waiter had audacity to ask for review for that tasteless and aweful food. Been 3 years that have had Kerala parotta, and they gave frozen Kerala parotta.

If the owner is reading this please do mention that the food is made for people who don't want spice, it's not at all for any Indian taste. Paneer tikka masala had uncooked tomatoe pureee. Chicken korma was some tasteless stuff. Please don't insult Indian food if operating restaurant outside India. And please stop fooling white people with the tasteless food.

Looks delicious but Worst panner item EVER! How could some one make paneer tikka masala and kadai paneer so sour (sour like lemon)! When I asked to replace they gave me the same item back with additional garnishing. Still sour as bad! Worst food, worst chef who made it!
I would not recommend at all!

There must some construction going on over there because they are using sand as there main ingredient in recipe but I’m still looking for screws in the curry

Generous portions, great service and location.
I’ve tried quite a few things on the menu and have loved them all!

Easily the best Indian restaurant in Halifax, and also with the best service I've experienced in any restaurant in Halifax so far.

Went here today, there were only 2 tables and it still took over 50-60 minutes to get our food which came Lukewarm at best. The table that was there before us also waited at least 30-40 minutes.

Food was average at best and definitely not worth the hour wait. There was only one server on the floor and she was actually decent.

This was one of the most unsatisfying meal i had in a long while. I feel bad for the server who would probably had to listen to people complain for no fault of hers.

This place is a little gem! My family and I went there today for dinner and was very impressed on what this place has to offer. From service, food, atmosphere and presentation, everything is top notch! We were greeted right away by a very friendly waitress as soon as we entered the restaurant, and it didn’t take very long for us to get all our orders. Our food all came very fresh laid out in a very nice presentation, and the portions are huge compared to other similar restaurants I’ve been to. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and the paintings on the ceilings are just so nice to look at. I found myself staring at it the whole time we were there. I highly recommend the tandoori chicken that comes with a special sauce made on the house, the garlic naan, and the mango lassi. This is what I ordered and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. I’m excited to try all the other items on their menu. I’ll surely be a regular at this place!

Overall a great experience! I had the butter chicken and Butter Naan, both of which were great! The service was also very good. If you’re in the area I would highly recommend checking this place out.

Two of us first trying the food on a Saturday afternoon. We arrived at 2pm. They had two tables. First of all, we stood by the door for 5 mins waiting to be seated and no one greeted us. A waiter came from next door finally sat us down. We ordered some curry with naans and appetizers. They arrived after 1.5 hour. All the food was about lukewarm. Side plates were ice cold to put food on top of it. We brought it up to the waiter and he said it just came out from kitchen. Well.apparently it’s not! The waiter vanished all these time with no service! Poor customers next to us had to help themselves to grab containers and bags to pack their leftovers because we couldn’t locate anyone! It’s probably the worst meal and experience we haven’t had for a long time! Don’t waste your money there. There’s way better Indian restaurant in town!

Food was excellent. Best indian food I had. I travel alot and I can say this is an authentic fresh indian food. Everthing was prepared with care.

This is by far the best indian food I have ever had. Not to mention, the service was superb as well. I can't wait to go back here again soon!

Very nice and beautiful place to have lunch or dinner, the food is delicious. Especially when you order the fresh tandoori bread with your meal. Excellent food, service, and place. Highly recommended.

I ordered via ubereats after reading 4.4star reviews. Got all burned chicken Tikka and uncooked Chicken korma.will never order again. Not cool Nan and curry not cool!

After seeing my feedback, they contacted me and apologized for that bad experience. They also offered the free meal for the price of my order.
Which turned out to be very delicious and it made my day:) Will order again for sure!

This little known spot has some of the best indian food I have had in Halifax. Food is reasonably priced, friendly and quick service and cool dining room too! I hope more people find this gem.

Quinpool road is lucky to have such a great little Indian spot. The food here is fantastic, with a great selection of tasty Indian dishes, clearly made with love. Three of us shared a selection of curries and appetizers and were blown away by the portions and the quality of the food. The naan by itself is a good enough reason to come back. To top it off, the space is sweet and unpretentious, and the service is friendly and caring. Will certainly be back.

Great tasting food and friendly staff Naan bread came in toasty with delicious in-house dip. Butter Chicken and chicken korma came in portions that don’t disappoint on top of the great taste, and the mango lassie is a must try! Will recommend

Great restaurant with really nice staff and the BEST Indian food ever in town! Highly recommend Chicken Saagwala if you like spicy! Will come back for sure!

I forgot my lunch at work tonight and decided to order take out. Saw this place on the list and decided to give it a go. I love butter chicken, but I am very particular about it. I can honestly say this was the BEST butter chicken and garlic naan I have ever tasted. And I have had a lot. Tasted authentic, fresh, and the portion size was amazing. Can't wait to try the curry.

They were 20 min late making the food for pickup and did not give any rice with the curry.
Bad service, not worth the money.

They had one person working on the floor, the food came cold, and even when I asked to reheat it, wasn't warm enough. Overall didn't enjoy the experience. The waitress was very friendly tho

I had Chicken Biryani and Chicken Korma tonight for takeout. It was absolutely tasty.

However, what brought me here to leave this review was a gentleman, who took care of my order and went above and beyond. He was very friendly and polite and answered all my questions about the menu and also when my order was ready, he brought the food outside to my car. THANK YOU SIR!

Lovely restaurant, Korma was rich and creamy and the rice was perfect! Very friendly owner and I’ll definitely go again!

Went for supper last night and was delighted. Excellent food - delicious flavours and generous portions. Also - service was excellent. Waiter was sweet and attentive!

I went to this establishment today for taking delivery. We got there and ordered food, It wasn't busy at all, but had to wait about an hour to get food packed. It tasted terrible and no where close of Indian taste.

Had the chicken saagwala, which was delicious. Lots of flavor. Our server was great. Unfortunately the business next door is very loud and distracting but not a deterrent for the tasty food.

My girlfriend and her 3 friends, (one of whom is from India) went to this establishment today. They got there and they ordered food, It wasn't busy at all, but they had to wait an hour and 15 minutes to get their food. It tasted terrible.they weren't told there was a separate charge for the rice. Then they had to wait 15 minutes for a debit machine when the store was not busy. Horrible service.
