Amazing service with great prices. I’m only sad they’re so busy they’re booking so far out. Couldn’t recommend more.

We received excellent service when our car broke down while on vacation in the city. Although they were fully booked for the day, they managed to fit us, and fixed our vehicle promptly.

I can't recommend this place more. As a someone who knows nothing about cars, I have always been skeptical of mechanics, and afraid they would take advantage of my ignorance. Until I started going to Todd's. They have taken such good care of me over the years and take the time to explain the work they do. They are also so pleasant when you walk through the doors. Amazing!

Yeah would not recommend this place, came in to have my front brakes serviced walked out with a whole new brake set in the back, small oil change repairs recommended, potential misdiagnosis too high. Better shops around the town that will perform the needed repairs faster and at a cheaper rate.

Very professional and excellent work at reasonable prices. They also always referred me to another garage if what I needed fixed was out of their expertise. I very much appreciated that.

Todd's Team was great to deal with for my car's maintenance recently. My brakes needed to be replaced; Todd diagnosed the situation, called me promptly with a quote for the brakes. They were able to get me in within a week which was great, and they did a great job. My brakes are smooth and quiet and I also got him to replace my tires. I will definitely book with them again as they work on BMWs and they know the cars well. Excellent business.

I've been bringing vehicles here for 20 years - Subaru, Honda, VW, Toyota. Efficient, professional, polite and honest. I don't drive new vehicles (I'm female, raised by a mechanic) so I mega appreciate not being looked at like I have 6 heads when talking about cars and being able to have honest chats about what stage a car or system is at, what the best plan is based on age and condition. I've had 100% good experiences here. They're busy but they run a tight ship WRT schedule so you won't be left hanging when you have an appt. Don't expect to rock up and get squeezed in unexpectedly for same-day service because they rarely leave gaps in the schedule and won't bump folks with appts! Great team, super respectful and polite. Fair prices. Quality work. Always my first call for service.

Went to this place several times over the years and always had a good experience. Minus my last one. Had my tires changed here and came back a week later to get a retorque and was told they do not have time and to come back in 6 hours. Had a car for 15 years and many tires changed at my different shops and never had this issue. Everyone always says come by anytime for a retorque. Went to Canadian tire afterwards and they were able to do it immediately no problem. Won’t return.

I went there several times for a simple tire alignment but it seems their system is not calibrated, I lost 4 tires for their fault during that period (each time I lost 2 front tires). Management didn't accept that the can't fix the problem. Each time I paid the alignment cost. Then someone suggested me to take my car to the Canadian tire. My car was aligned at the first time and I didn't have any problem. So I'm not recommending NAPA

I was recommended Todds after having some troubles with my car and was in need of a good mechanic. I could not be happier! This is a trustworthy mechanic shop that provides quality service. I have been bringing my car in to Todds for the last 8 months now, and am beyond satisfied every time I leave. They are fairly priced, great warranty and have excellent customer service, not to mention the location is super convenient to the South end of Halifax. I have already recommended Todd's to a few friends- I don't think you can find a better auto shop in the HRM

Requested a safety inspection, and got one two days later as they were booked, was okay by me as I anticipated that. Car was finished within 2 hours, and was worth every penny. Professional and helpful.

No empathy and care for clients. Paid them to fix an issue they said it's fixed. Went there and paid the invoice. Issue still not fixed.and then they were like it must be something else.and they don't care. They were like this is what happens when you buy a retired car. (Exact words) anyway. I would not recommend that to any one.rest is your call.

Went in for my mvi. Had some minor repairs done the same day. Staff were very polite and upfront. I feel that it was done at a very fair price. Probably the best experience I've had at a garage. Very happy with the quote I was given for repair that was recommended but not needed for the mvi. I would highly recommend this place!

I've had great service at Todd's. They make things easy to understand and offer advice. Always very friendly when I call to book. I've moved out of the South End however still bring my car here!

I am posting this review to replace an earlier review. After talking to a different advisor (Derek), I found their advice to be good, and I'm going ahead with a major repair at Todd's.

I've had to take my car here a few times and they've been great to deal with. The repairs have been fast and the prices reasonable. They've never tried to sell/push a repair or replacement on me that wasn't needed. I'd definitely recommend this garage, and the location is very convenient for people working downtown.

Really convenient for any downtown drivers, and high quality service. They’ve gone above and beyond as well, even getting a code for my stereo after replacing a dead battery. I’m glad I don’t have to see them often, but when anything comes up, I know where to go.

I cannot day enough great things about Todd’s. Every time I’m in with my car they’re friendly, do what they can to get it ready when I need it, and there’s no surprises. I have had some not so nice experiences with other mechanics who try to get an extra buck - but never at Todd’s. I can trust the information they’re giving me and the quality of their work.

I've only had them take a long time once (on a busy day), and my car has been here many times.

This place has put on my winter tires, performed routine maintenance on my vehicle, and diagnosed issues when the check engine light came on.

The service is great; I would definitely recommend this place for any kind of car service.

I feel like this is a 'you get what you pay for' kind of place. It is a bit pricey, but very high quality service and parts. I don't know much about cars and have been ripped off at other garages because they could tell, yet I have never felt that way here. They are knowledgeable and always helpful. Great skills and service, quality car care! There is a reason Lubrico will only deal with them, they are honest with service and pricing.

For the past 6 years I have taken my car to Todd’s and every time has been a great experience! I am from out of town and don’t know much about cars but they are the most honest, affordable and trustworthy people! I would highly recommend Todd’s to all my friends and family and will not be taking my vechicle anywhere else!

Got a comprehensive chassis work done here. Pricier and busier than other shops but they do get the job done properly. Highly recommended.

The service rep double checked to make sure the parts needed for car repair would be delivered as expected to the station as I needed the car for an out of town trip the next day. I felt I received excellent service from a caring service manager.
