The worst Chinese food I've ever had
Had beef and broccoli chicken gai ding chow mein and chicken fried rice
First three items had the same flavorless sauce.just gooey cornstarch mixture the rice was fair although had no chicken
Will never go there again
The egg rolls were OK though

Love New moon. I eat there at least once per month and it's my goto when I don't want to cook. The food is always great as is the service. 99% of the time I use take out but have eaten in and service is always excellent. Strongly recommend

We got takeout while visiting from out of town and LOVED it. The place was extremely busy (since it was a public holiday and most other places were closed). Their front of house person did a great job managing so much busy-ness and communicated well with us about our order. Then the food OH MY GOD. Portions are huge, food is great, the honey garlic spareribs MELTED off the bone. I highly recommend this place!

First-time customer. Ordered a large amount for takeaway, Glad we called in our order ahead of time as it was busy.which, for me, is always a good sign. The staff was very courteous and helpful. One part of our order was incorrect, I suspect, due to the volume of orders they had at the time. They kindly apologized and corrected the order.
The servings were larger than I had expected and were delicious. All said, I was very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this restaurant.

Fast service, great tasting food, overall a wonderful experience.
I removed one star from the "food" category as there has been a few times the rice and chow mein were bland compared to how it usually tastes.

This place usually has the best tasting Chinese food on the island (in my opinion), and is definitely worth a try!

The food is consistently good there and the service is excellent. Best value for Chinese food.

Called them and asked about getting a table. Inquired about needing to book or not, they said no bookings, walk in. Walked in sat down at an open table to be told to get list as the tables were booked. I will never step foot into this rude restaurant again.

Have been doing take out for a week, moving not my first place of Chinese food ordered. I couldn’t believe how fresh no refry, steam etc. One combination plate is enough for two days maybe 3? Absolutely beautiful meal great price. Thank you

The food is enjoyable, the atmosphere is good and the service is good. Was troubled to have stumbled near the bathroom due to the flooring! Other than that the area which needs to be improved in my opinion, was an overall good visit!

1 server for the entire restaurant and she rocked it. Food was fantastic, enjoyable evening.

Absolutely amazing food and service! The crew is very nice and the food is fantastic. I always order The Beef Broccoli Special (chicken balls, chicken fried rice, beef broccoli, eggroll, and a fortune cookie) with no MSG to go. The chicken balls are perfectly cooked, and the sauce on them is amazing and sweet, the chicken fried rice is fantastic, especially with the plum sauce that comes with it, the beef broccoli is absolutely wonderful and tastes amazing (it contains perfectly cooked beef, onions, and broccoli in a sause of some kind), the eggrolls are filled to the brim and very delicious, especially when topped with or dipped into the plum sauce that comes with the meal, and the fortune cookies, while most likely not made-in-house, still taste fantastic and have cool fortunes inside with lucky numbers at the bottom. Their prices are quite reasonable for the quality of food you're given as well. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for the best Chinese food in Cape Breton. While not labeled as this officially and it being, in whole, my opinion. I firmly believe that this Chinese food restaurant has the best Chinese food in Cape Breton.

The staff, the food, the atmosphere, everything is wonderful. My favorite supper spot! Just had supper here again and it was as delicious as all the other times. Highly recommend for delicious Chinese food.
