I've had two boat engines worked on here. Prices seem fair. Have had good experiences with them and will continue to go there for any service work.

Norm and Stefan are wonderful. I had a couple issues with my boat and they took the time to make sure everything was fixed and working properly. Ready to hit the waves. Thanks sooooo much for all you do. Even taught me a few things along the way.:). Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about NewStar Marine. The staff is incredible and the product line is exceptional. The prices are also very reasonable. Norman and his staff are just like one big family and bent over backwards for us. Everyone from the office staff to the mechanics were incredible. We even had a small cut in the fabric of a boat cushion that must have happened at the factory as the seats were still covered with plastic. The manufacturer didn't agree to cover the cost so Norman ordered a new one out of his own pocket. Now that's service! Norman took all the time we needed to explain everything about our new boat even though he is very busy including some very helpful tips. The staff treated us like family. We will be loyal customers for life. We absolutely love our new Gala Viking V420 rib. It is very well made and a dream to run. It has us, including our 3 kids so excited to be on the water. Exploring, fishing and going to island beaches are so fun and safe with our new Gala. For honesty, integrity, very fair prices and exceptional after service NewStar Marine can't be beat. We bought a Salter Dinghy in 2017 from this company. Paid over $1000 for it. It has leaked since the day we purchased it. We only used it to go from the wharf to our boat on the mooring ball which was only about 2 minutes away. And only for the boating season in 2017. Newstar was not helpful. As far as I am concerned we were totally ripped off. And from the research I have done Salter isn't even in business anymore. Don't ever buy from Newstar as they do not stand behind their products.

Called to enquire about purchasing a boat. The lady on the phone was pretty rude, very condescending because I didn’t know the exact engine I wanted and requested some options. Told me that the sales people are too busy and that I needed to drive an hour into the store if I wanted to talk someone. Told me that she wouldn’t guarantee anyone would call me back.

Makes no sense as I’m calling to buy a product from you and it’s like I’m hassling you. Surely you want people buying your products, why reject them? Unless it’s just a hobby and not necessarily a business, that would make sense.

Staff very friendly and helpful! Owner was very knowledgeable! Very happy with the service.

I went over to purchase a tender at near closing, on a Friday. The entire staff, bent over backwards to ensure I was able to get everything I needed for the weekend. The mechanic and his helper were extremely helpful and courteous. The owner provided a detailed non rushed walk through of how everything worked.
