Very nice well kept Provincial park with large parking lot, picnic tables, washrooms, fields and access to a nice beach with a view of PEI.

Good place to get out of the car for a bit of a walk on the beach. Don't expect a sand beach. Good stones for skipping. There are outhouses, clean. Bring your own water. A bit of a cliff, so watch small people.

I visited in early August and found this beach to be cold despite claims that it's a warm beach. During high tide, there isn't much place to sit on the sand. The area above the beach has nice grass to sit on. The washrooms are outhouses. If it is in your neighbourhood, it's okay to visit, but I wouldn't make a detour or trip to this beach.

Large beach with table and changing station, sand is not soft, lots of rock, there were quite few algae too. Water was warm but cloudy.

One of my favourite spots! Perfect red sand beaches with minimal rocks at low tide to catch your feet on. Not muddy, just sandy. Absolutely prefer this place with my dog as she doesn’t get dirty coming here compared to other beaches that she takes half of the mud with her at.

We go here two or three times a month and have for years! The Tide is all the way out you can walk on sandbars almost a kilometer from Shore!

Beautiful red sandy beach and lovely picnic area! When the tide is out there are mini islands to hang out. The water is warm, a bit of seaweed but that's pretty much expected.

Peaceful park/beach with great scenery and lovely red sand!
- Clean beach with many different flat skipping rocks of different colours
- Unclear water but not too cold. There were people there swimming up to their neck.
- Washroom outlets were clean
- Friendly area

Area’s for Improvement:
- Could have more garbage cans

Clean beach, lots of space to spread out, play in the water and play games. Picnic areas are shaded. Toilets and change rooms available to use and were clean.

This is my very favourite Nova Scotia Beach. The water is wonderfully warm. Sandy Bottom for a kilometre out. You can see Pei across the way on a clear day

Free parking. Clifftop picnic area. Easy access (but not "accessible") beach. Good for long walks, beachcomber and swimming. Sandbags and red sand. Warm water (for Canada). Washrooms.

Clean restrooms, beautiful scenery, mudflats for the adventurous to go and explore (bring a bag for the shoes you encumber with mud in your travels). With tide out people were out quite far into the water. The bathrooms were clean and simple permanent structures; outhouse style but really pretty odourless.

All in all a place worth pulling into for a break if you are driving by.

A good beach to visit with your family, sandy/rocky areas and picnic tables above the beach in grassy areas with a view of the water. Bathrooms and change rooms
