Great summer camp going on while we visited and the kids were amazing and super informative!

Great for learning the history of the east coast. Hands on and friendly. Great for the kids to get a better understanding of how life is.

Nice displays and very knowledgeable staff to answer questions, especially about the colorful lobster in the tank. Entrance by donation.

The Northumberland Fisheries Museum is one of the best things to see in Pictou County. My guide Bailey was very friendly and gave an interesting tour of the museum's exhibits. The tank of live lobsters was especially neat!

Small but informative exhibits. They have everything from boat engines to lobsters. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Our tour guide Jack was amazing! He took the time to make the visit special for everyone in the group from children to seniors. Very informative, professional and friendly. Could spend 10 minutes or an hour there depending on how thorough you want to be. A great little spot that I would highly recommend if you are in the area.

It’s a small museum, but packed with fascinating information and stories from a glorious past. Our guide Jack was absolutely fantastic, and took the time to explain in detail a lot of the history of the area and stories about the local fishery. He was a fountain of knowledge, and very generous, generous with his time and information. Admissions by donation, and well worth whatever you can contribute. A small, hidden treasure!

Beautifully updated. New touch tank installed great facilities upstairs and down including a wheelchair lift with a beautiful back balcony absolutely worth a 20-40 minute stop while your in Pictou to see some of the history of the beautiful area
