Stephanie Wells is an absolutely wonderful student counselor.
And all of the staff members and teachers are wonderful, kind, helpful and caring.
Emailing them is easy with communication frequently.
They keep you informed and if you have any issue with something they will sort it out quickly and clearly with you. Absolutely wonderful experience. Still in program just wanted to put my experience here.

I so much love the institute but the admission response is extremely slow, I applied since August, now in November still no response. It heartbreaking.

The Process here is extremely slow, its been like 3 months i applied for Jan intake 2024, still haven't got offer letter. However Jan 2024 intake is closed. Reply from college is very slow.where my 75 CAD went?

Bad experience. Instructors and structure are ok but if you need anything from any office or student services they treat you like garbage. They just care about your money. It doesn't worth the cost for international students.

NSCC has quite a slow application process for international students. Even after 3 months, my application still has not been finalized. What's worse is no response to my emails, such poor service. So why did I pay the application fee which is 75 CAD? I don't know.

Went here in 2018, and if you're looking for a positive experience, this is not the place for you. The staff basically allow students to bully or pick-on other students, some staff will even laugh to themselves or out loud as its happening.
In 2020, I decided to go back but I wanted to go with the Akerley. They wouldn't allow me to, instead they put me back to this place (I. T). I hadn't received a loan yet, however, I was allowed to receive my books. After a while, due to student loans being student loans, I withdrew from the program. I gave back the books, everything was okay. I made sure there was no stains, tears, markings, anything! On the books and there wasn't. Then two days later, according to NSCC I owe them $800.00 because "We found some sticky substance on one of the books. " When I gave the books back there was absolutely, nothing on them. Still isn't on the one I was given back, and they make sure to email you two - three times a month, for money that you apparently owe. They're completely greedy. I would take my money and loan elsewhere, don't waste your time with NSCC; you're better off going to an actual noble college, NSCC isn't one of them. If I could give them negative 1000 or more I would.
