NSLC Beer, Wine, Spirits, Cannabis

The Marijuana department staff were Very knowledgeable of the products they were selling. Therefore it makes it a lot easier to make an Informed decision on what you want to purchase. They also were very friendly Which takes the negative stigma. Which some narrow minded people have put forth. Without looking at the medical and recreational purposes.

Not sure if they have a quota of refused sales, ran in with my husband, held some alcohol for him and we weren’t allowed to buy what I was holding. We’re both over 30. Thankfully the guy in line behind us let us know that the cashier was power tripping and sent us to the location around the corner where we had no issues purchasing. Seems like this is a frequent problem considering the rest of the reviews. Avoid if you don’t want to waste your time.

This is my goto store. I could get my spirits most anywhere, but it is the employees here that bring me back!

I don't going for alcohol I go in for marijuana. The staff is always very helpful and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend.

Painful to deal with. They don't ever leave you alone. Got ID' Three times in one visit. Nice selection tho.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff in beer, wine and spirits our front of the store, and the workers in the cannabis section are wonderful for any help or questions (within their scope of knowledge).

Clean store, friendly staff, good selection. There's one lady who works the cannabis side who KNOWS her products! Give that woman a raise!

I can't write a review of the NSLC without mentioninf the ludicrous prices though. We gotta do something about that.

Great selection helpfull friendly people. Just wish they had my favorite drink Tgif white Russian mix.

Cannabis prices are high but the service is great. Majority of the employees are educated and a huge help.

It's a liquor store, they sell booze. What else do you need to know? Lots of flavors of cannabis too.

Ultra clean, knowledgeable staff. Been trying all sorts, nothing to get excited about from spliffs to drops, chocolate and most recently drinks, 'The soda & houndstooth' very insipid, no buzz. I'll keep trying though.

I like to support local but its nice to have a place to get something when local supplies dry up.

I've been in here a hundred times now and look well over 18. There's no need to ID me while I'm grabbing the liquor I came in for. If you don't have faith in your cashier to ID properly when I get to the counter, perhaps it's time to review your staff rather than harassing me with a condescending tone just because you think I MIGHT be underage.

Generally a great selection of wine and spirits. Cannabis availability is a major bonus. Thanks for working so hard at making this a great store.

Demands ID before you ever get to the counter, makes futile attempts to stopping purchase at other stores, got my beer anyway. Other newglasgow store is much better, more reasonably staffed

One of the better location in Pictou County for selection. Since cannabis has become legal, the location has a bit of a "smell" to it, what whatever really. Staff are friendly and see to know their stuff.
