Cannabis section definitely needs an update, a digital menu would be a great step in the right direction.

I'm to crippled to walk through the store and my mobility scooter won't fit through their doors. I called previously to ask if it would be okay if I called an order in and could have it brought outside to my vehicle parked next to the entrance. I was told yes as long as I paid in cash and did not make it a daily habit. That was 3 months ago with a $300.00 order. Last week was my next trip back with a $240.00 order and was berated when given the order that I was just trying to get ahead of the line up. I tried my best to explain my previous discussion with management and was constantly interrupted and told I could never receive an order outside again and to order online. Very unpleasant experience. Extremely rude employee that made me feel terrible upset and that my business was not wanted.

Not nice staff, nslc you need to hire people with better customer service skills in the cannabis section. Or not and lose business.
Either way I won't be back, when I'm coming in to spend my hard-earned money I don't appreciate dealing with ignorant employees

Nice staff, nice variety of items including limited seasonal liquors and a nice big walk in cooler section

I'm in here too often, however the staff always greet me, are super friendly and it feels like I'm chatting with long time friends.
Always asked if I need help finding things, and almost always have the stock of things that I want, as well as new items I want to try.

Horrible communication, ordered 2 days in a row and never got my order nor did i have anyone for StarBuds pick up there phone.im not pleased at all, i believe it is very unprofessional to have a service yet not answer your phone at all

Love this liquor and cannabis store now that it has been totally remodelled. Well laid out. Easy to find your favourites and new products to try. Very helpful, friendly staff.

Went in for a ounce the other day and of course I forgot my wallet.
With good reason of course!

See I have a horrible insurance company. They never sent me a new policy for the rig, my old one expired and unfortunately the only thing worse then my insurance is my luck.
So me no drive

Now my wallet sits in my rig and I'm a 38 male with a bad case of C. R. S.

(Its a real thing look it up)

Anyways, I explained this to the lady working. She ask me to just pull the mask down for a sec.
So I do.
She says to me

"OH YEAH, you're good! "

So now I don't know if I should be thanking her or insulted but who cares I my ounce in the end. Great People!

P.s. My insurance papers showed up. I can drive again. Yay!

Good staff, knowledgeable about their products, either alcohol or cannabis. Closing at 6: 00 PM now during lock-down, and not open Sunday.

I rarely drink, if I drank more I'd probably calm down lmao.although, once in a while use the marijuana section as I'm a medical marijuana patient who has had my license for approximately 10 years, and have used marijuana for 26 years. Back in the day marijuana was in fact better, if you don't think so then you're dealer had poop. I'm not a fan of the marijuana they have for sale, although I did enjoy only 1 single strain so far, the blueberry kush @ 3.5 g @ 45$ ish got 7 g total.
Price is not worth what they sell it for cause I can get an ounce for 160$ of purple candy kush, or pineapple Express like I have now @ 6$ a gram and it exceeds by far for terpenes, thc, CBD is all aspects, maybe to somebody who is an amateur marijuana smoker the liquor commission is good, but not to a seasoned smoker/grower.
I smoke rosin, shatter, oils, eat edibles, my tolerance levels are at 3 grams per day as directed by Dr. Gilda Aurora Bowdridge in turn is the Dr. Who prescribes at National Access on Spring Garden Rd.
Now personally my LP/ licenced practitioner Emblem Cannabis does have Quality, strong, worth anyone's while marijuana as well as my licence to grow more than the 4 recreational law, medical law allows me to fill my yearly prescription, also law recreational says 30g, medical law says 90g for myself.
These people who run this place have no clue what good marijuana is. They are misguided by the government as well as amateur personal opinions with a horticulture degree, well having a horticulture degree does not mean you will get good marijuana, getting it from a seasoned grower with 30 years Experience I would buy over any marijuana from NSLC.

Currently under renovation. Most of the staples are still available plus the Cannabis section is unaffected. Large cold beer storage selection is very nice and even the odd special here and there.
