Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre

Great spot for a family vacation but like everyone else the restaurant is terrible. Plan ahead, bring food or find somewhere nearby to go eat. It will be faster, better and more affordable. It’s the only downside to this place.
Kitchen is Very very slow. 1.5 hour for dinner and 45min for breakfast. And overpriced. Think 3.50 for 2oz of milk for a baby overpriced. Oysters came out full of shells. Breakfast came out cold. Bacon (from kids meal) came out so crispy it was more like overdone bacon bits. I did not feed this to my daughter. My husband crumbled it in his hands.

Great amenities. Carpeting could use an update but otherwise great stay. Absolutely lovely location close to Mahone Bay.

We had terrible weather, it rained the entire time. But our accomodations and the staff's unobtrusive service meant we still had a fine time. Comfortable beds, clean kitchen and bathroom in our chalet. We'll return to experience the area with better weather.
The restaurant was the only slightly negative part of our stay. Mediocre quality on what is a good looking menu.

We had our wedding at Oak Island Resort and it was absolutely wonderful! The venue coordinator, Mary, worked so hard to make sure that our day went smoothly. She was so amazing to work with! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the location is stunning, and all our guests raved about how nice their rooms were. I would highly recommend Oak Island to anyone planning a wedding or just looking for a getaway!

I wish I could give 0 stars. I do not know where to begin. My sister had her wedding here and don't get me wrong her wedding was beautiful and her day was perfect.no thanks to Oak Island. They double booked the spot where she was supposed to get married (with the built-in arbor) and had to move her to a different area (with an arbor that Oak Island had). However, the day before the wedding, we found out that that spot was ALSO booked out.so we had to find our own spot. Days before the wedding my sister called to make sure she would have an arbor. Oak Island emailed back and said "oh yeah the arbor was stolen". If she had not emailed them asking about the arbor, they simply would have not told her this crucial information. We booked out chalets and were told "I don't know" when we asked what time check-in was. So the bride had to call the day of to try to find out check-in time. When she called they told her she did not have a chalet booked. So essentially, the bride and groom would have no where to stay. They eventually found their booking confirmation. However, when they arrived at Oak Island they were told AGAIN that they did not have a chalet booked. Finally, they found their confirmation, however Oak Island had booked out the wrong chalets then what they were told. In addition two people who attended the wedding have Celiac Disease (gluten-free). Bride and Groom were told there would be specific gluten-free plates for these people. There were NOT gluten-free plates prepared and they had to go to the buffet. They were told the fish was gluten-free and ate it. We later found out the fish was NOT gluten free. If you are short staffed, then simply do not book so many weddings. If you can't provide good service for that many weddings then maybe rethink somethings. Quality over quantity. We are understanding people and would not be so upset if the staff had been understanding of OUR concerns. We had a beautiful wedding, the area itself was gorgeous and the food was amazing. I would not recommend Oak Island for a wedding or event.unless they makes some serious changes.

I performed an outdoor wedding at Cottage #2. The day was perfect and the view amazing. From what I could tell of the photo shoot out on the seawall, the wedding photos will be amazing!

Absolutely loved this resort! The receptionist at checking was friendly and very nice. Grounds were beautiful. Very disappointed that the $100 deposit for incidentals has not been reversed and it is already 5 days since staying. I called their accounting dept and was told 48 hrs after stay? Would have made the resort 5 star if it wasn’t for that issue. Would have stayed there again.

Great variety of activities including swimming pool indoor and outdoor. Mini golf basket ball.
Would stay again.
Sadly there kitchen was not open but local food was nice.

While it was simply a walk by on our way to our Salty Dog Tour, it looked like a fantastic place to go!

We rented a chalet (#8) for 2 days while attending a wedding. Upon arrival, the lock on the door had a dead battery. It happens. Maintenance tried to fix it for a while but failed. Said someone else would try in the morning and gave us a master key for the dead bolt. Up until that point it’s ok, these things happen. The next day we see a different guy who said will be back in 20 minutes to fix it. We never saw him again…. No we did have 1 physical key for 4 people, we made it work. When we checked out, no apologies, no discount, nothing. The chalet also get super hot as the AC unit can’t keep up.

Would not recommend this hotel.

Great venue. The staff are very impressive, friendly, accommodating and do so much to ensure their guests have a great experience. Clean spaces, washrooms, parking. The food was great too. Beautiful view of the water. Top notch.

Hard to beat the location, but services have definitely suffered due to Covid staffing limitations.

No food was available during morning and afternoon hours which was an unknown when we booked and arrived.

On-site staff are friendly and helpful

The place has a nice view of the ocean however the hotel is not AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) compliant yet. For those with mobility issues it is hard to get around the hotel. We are seniors with mobility issues and were given a room which in order to get to one has to go down the stairs and is about 10 minute walk from the reception. Though we requested for a room change none is available. There is no elevator available which we didn't know since it is our first time booking this place just to attend a wedding. One will have to drag her own luggage down the steps until one gets to the room. The place is clean and the staff provides excellent customer service.

This is very nice hotel with beautiful views. The parking lot is private enough that you can have drinks from your trunk or smoke your party favors with nobody to bother you. There is a fire lane that some lazy people will park in. I guess it does say park at your own risk but still. The staff are very friendly but it you buy a drunk it costs $7 which is quite pricey. The pool looks nice

Interesting place. The property is nice with beautiful gardens and nice water views. Advertised as newly renovated. Room with 2 "new" queen beds. The matress on one bed was broken, the bathroom door wouldn't clear the toilet to close without forcing it. The building still has old feel with new paint and a few upgrades. On the upside live entertainment on Sunday night was awsome. Both indoor and outside pools looked good. Overall I expected more for the cost.

Resort in pretty nice. In normal circumstances I would say it's great but the confusion about where we could eat during our stay was ever changing until we arrived. Short staffing has closed off all available eating on site. Food trucks were scheduled to be here and then that was changed. Not sure how they expected that to work for a weekend. Busiest time of the week I would think. Closest places are pub fare, and not super enjoyable. Plus they are swamped from everyone going for every meal. You are forced to wait in the heat to eat in the heat or drive 25mins to eat.

Family reunion based out of the Oak Island Resort. A wonderful location on the South Shore. Our room I. The main building had a balcony looking out to the water. They also have cottages down along the water with fire pits for evening fires.

Love this place when I was in Nova Scotia I wanted to see Oak Island but it was close to the public due to them filming their new season and I guess covid restrictions are still in place there also but overall we had a good stay there

I would recommend finding another hotel in the area this summer. Unfortunately, the staffing issue is a real problem here. There is no food or bar available on-site daily, the rooms are not cleaned daily and overall the service is quite lacking in terms of simple niceties and manners. They should focus on communicating with their guests that there is little to none available on-site before arrival, to at least ensure guests rent vehicles or are aware of the taxis they will literally need to take everywhere to be able to eat and drink. I also recommend they change their rules about outside F&B considering the lack of amenities on-site.

All that to be said, the rooms are okay - but the ground are very picturesque and with good weather quite enjoyable.

Don't expect total quiet here as its a very popular resort fir weddings party's conventions etc, but its a clean comfy and very friendly place with much to offer sports boating oak island etc.i luvved it and the staff were, are fantastic and accommodating.great place to stay and this was May.being from england 26c in may is very rare, free parking and WiFi.

Had 2 nights away with my mom and sister. We loved this resort! They have done extensive renovations and it looks so good! The beds were so cozy. We loved that they offer recreation equipment free to use. 2 pools, and a hot tub (the hot tub was not working during our stay).
The restaurant has a limited menu but the options they have were cooked perfectly.
My only complaint is that the hot tub was not open. It is outside but still should have been open. Though it is beside the ocean there is no beach on-site. But the 2 pools are available.

The staff was fantastic, and extremely accommodating. The food was incredible; the breakfast eggs, absolutely recommend.

Rooms were spacious and clean, with modern updates and amenities.

My fiancé and I went there over the weekend and I’ve never felt like such an inconvenience.

First we went to eat at 6: 30, there was one other table (of around ten people) in the restaurant I ordered steak and was told that they were sold out of steak because everyone at the other table had ordered steak… sort of strange for 6: 30pm and a mostly empty dining room we then had dessert and we’re going to stay and have a few drinks but instead our waitress brought us our bill (we never asked for it) so we took the hint and paid our bill

Next we found out that there was no live music which was advertised all over the website and handouts that we received, we later did find that if you navigated through the website you could find a calendar that showed no live music, I really wish this was advertised better because there is literally nothing else to do except drink at the bar

That brings us to the bar, we had a couple drinks there and were planning to hang out there until the bar closed at 12… the bartender decided at 11: 20 with us still at the bar ordering drinks that he was shutting down

For the amount of money we spent and the drive to oak island we would’ve been much better off to just stay in a hotel in Halifax

I went last summer and had a great time, but I would definitely not recommend staying here in the winter season. I really felt like I was inconveniencing the staff who all wanted to head home

Me and my fiancé are getting married here in the summer so it was disappointing to have this experience to say the least

This is our first time back at Oak Island since they did renovations, and the changes have really created a modern and warm feel in both the common areas and in the guest rooms. The staff are always welcoming and helpful, and we were even taken on a tour to check out the updates. The only reason this review isn't a 5 star is because they have had to close down the restaurant for breakfast and lunch due to covid, making it tough first thing in the morning for those of us who count on our morning cup of java to come around (the single cup keurig option with powdered milk in the room just doesn't cut it!). Again, the staff were great to make recommendations for nearby restaurants, but there's something nice about not having go outside in the cold to get coffee and breakfast. Additionally, all fire pits were already put away for the winter, and it would have been nice to be able to sit outside overlooking the ocean. Overall, it's been a really great getaway!

NOT IMPRESSED! With the service and the amount paid, The rooms and the hallways are dated for this price. You have to pay separately for the ‘box breakfast’ (not included with the room). Very basic hotel and average customer service for that price you pay.

Beautiful setting, clean, stylish and comfortable rooms with all the amenities most of us want. Resort demonstrated their commitment to guest safety by ensuring all guests adhered to Covid safety protocols while on-site.

Terrible stay! Couldn’t sleep at all, The two nights we stayed was pain we had two weddings right next to us and they were blasting music from 3 am till 6 am and then the next wedding party did the same! The beds weren’t even comfy, Cobwebs Everywhere all in all a terrible place to stay

Not impressed, for the amount of money paid, box breakfast was the pits, can't get internet-based, no bath matt in the bathroom, directions are not clearly marked for where you want to go, please make directions clear on floor or wherever, Ty

Room was very nice. Restaurant food was poor. We were served old fish, stale (or worse) desert, and overdone fries. Indoor pool was cloudy and chock full of chemical.
Noise carries at night and someone drove around in an atv at three am. And the place is not on the lower end price wise. Great location and all but as an organization they should strive for better.

Excellent place to dock your boat for a great price. Enjoyed having a shower and appreciated the coin washer & dryer. They supply the laundry soap. We enjoyed eating supper in the dining room and the nightly entertainment was great.

5 stars to the front desk staff for looking after my group with efficiency and warm hearted kindness. The restaurant also deserves 5 stars for their attentive service and special thanks to the chef for an outstanding menu. They have a fire pit and one can roast s'mores! How great is that!

Lots to do in the area, the hotel has some nice amenities and the main restaurant is fantastic. The hotel itself and the rooms are very basic and dated for the price but certainly not terrible. Come to the area for the activities, but not specifically the hotel, it's only ok.or pay more for a chalet.

Had a great stay! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Resort was nice. Rooms were great and clean! Due to staffing issues since COVID the restaurant was only offering dinner. This staffing issue is province wide and beyond the control of the resort. Great stay! Will be back next year.

The room was clean. The corridors not as clean. I know it's covid time and there are certain restrictions, but they're over doing it when it comes to ordering breakfast and getting into the pools. You have to order breakfast before 8 pm the night before, and if you don't you are not getting any. And you have to go pick it up from the reception area. The indoor and outdoor pools will only accommodate a maximum of 15 guests, and you should register in the reception area, and you only get a time slot of 45 minutes then you gotta go to make space. The main parking is big enough, but it's quite a distance to get there from the rooms. Overall, an OK place. I think it's a little bit overpriced for what is offered. Not going there again honestly. A positive thing, it's not far from Mahone Bay and Lunenburg which are real gems.

The rooms and hallways are dated for its price. The indoor pool is murky but the outdoor pool is alright. Don’t order their breakfast boxes, it’s not worth it for its price. $10 + tax for four small cubes of cheese, a fruit, a kashi bar, a boiled eggs. Overall, I wouldn’t want to plan another vacation back here.

Begin by saying that any establishment that isn’t wheel chair/stroller assessable in 2021 is inexcusable. This was my husband and i’s honeymoon. We were just looking to get away for a few nights and relax. Unfortunately we were met with dated guest rooms that didn’t match the price… and extremely slow service. We waited 45 minutes for our drinks at dinner. Breakfast in bed took over an hour, and when it arrived was completely the wrong order. We politely complained and nothing was done. I don’t normally write reviews. I am writing this review because when we checked out we weren’t even asked “ how was your stay “. We will not recommend this resort to anyone celebrating a special milestone.

My wife and I stayed at Oak Island for 2 nights to celebrate our honeymoon along with our five month old son. We were met with outdated rooms. A telephone and outlets that didn’t work and when we complained nothing was done. During our stay we waited 45 minutes for drinks at dinner on their patio and over an hour for our breakfast in bed only to have it arrive wrong. No compensation. I will say that I usually don’t take the time to write a negative review. However, upon check out, we weren’t even asked “ how was your stay “. I would hardly classify this resort as 4 stars, in service or appearance. Disappointed that we chose Oak Island to celebrate such a special milestone.

We were here for three days, it’s a fabulous resort! Unplug and relax, is what’s achieved here.

I had a fantastic trip to Oak Island Resort and couldn’t be happier with the live music to end off the night!

We Stayed 2 nights first night the noise was unbearable, running, screaming loud band playing, banging on our door until 1: 30 am no sleep and next night was not as bad but still very noisy and band noise until very late in the night so two sleepless nights. We were told on arrival there will be no breakfast served or lunch and to eat a supper in their dinning room you had to make a reservation due to staff shortages. We were also told there is no room service while you stay because of staff shortages. We had to ask to toilet tissue and more towels, just ridiculous. We gave 1 star for room cleanliness and comfortable beds if we could have only slept. We has to east breakfast out and drive to Mahone Bay to get a breakfast. We will never stay here again.

We arrived and the door didn't work. We tried to call the front desk and they didn't pick up. We had to drive back to the front desk to get new keycards, which didn't work. Then they sent a mechanic down (after we went back to the desk AGAIN because they didn't pick up) and he came down, fixed the door, and our keycards still didn't work. So he had to leave and get new keycards and come down so they'd work. Yikes. They told us to keep the keycards for the door away from our phones which we did, but at the end of the night only one keycard worked for the door. Some of us stayed in the chalet while some stayed in a room in the resort. The resort is noisy at night, up until at least 11pm when the music stops, but with our room so close to the lounge it was difficult to sleep with the noise. The marina also rents out kayaks and pedal boats for 10 dollars an hour, which is just silly given how much you're already paying for the room/cabin. The restaraunt was actually the best part of the stay, and I really enjoyed the food there, just don't get the seafood chowder lol. Hopefully they can get around to figuring out a better way to contact the front desk from a cell phone since we could only call them on their out-line.

The chalets are what make this place great for me. Great activity area for family fun. Has mini golf, tennis court, hockey cage, and other fun family games

The whole experience was awesome and our captain was very informative and very pleasant, me and my family had an awesome time

Rooms are small with double beds. Sliding glass doors but no other window. Small bathroom in room. We paid a small fee for an ocean view but this was pointless unless perhaps during summer when you may sit outside your room or on a deck for above ground level rooms. Our room was quite dark. Restaurant is very nice & extremely comfortable with great ocean views. Great staff. Really friendly and outgoing. Lots of activities for kids, though typically of a low to midrange quality. Decent pool. A little too small and too cold but okay. Overall was worth what we paid for our visit. Fun enough for the kids, though not special for us as adults. Again though, we felt the cost made this a good value overall and we would likely revisit at some point - as we're certain a summer visit would be far superior given the incredible surroundings.

I stayed at Oak Island Conference Center in September of 2003 - 17 YEARS ago. I could write a book about my stay though it was only 3 days and 2 nights in one of the Ocean Front Chalets. I had occasion to visit the restaurant for dinner on my last night. Suffice to say that I often pull up the website to look at the resort photos because I had a literal world class experience at this resort with lifetime memories. Yes -17 years later I’d recommend the resort to anyone who wants to experience the very best that the Nova Scotia seashore has to offer. The chalet was stunningly beautiful and well appointed and I had an epic dinner in the restaurant. I’ve never been so comfortable on a stay anywhere before or since. Five Stars

Recently renovated rooms.

The resort is a bit deceiving because online, you don’t really see the building or the places that need some HEAVY duty Reno’s. The areas that are renovated are nice, but the rooms lack character even with the Reno’s.

We stayed 2 nights and had a food credit as gift from friends.we are super thankful because we did enjoy our stay but man, this place has an over priced restaurant with such few options. There were issues with 2 meals but after the waitress brushed off the first one with no resolution, we just left it the second time and paid the $24 for a children’s sized meal. The staff were kind, but really, lacked character or personality which didn’t bother us but it is something that’s nice to have. The fitness center is a complete disaster.it has equipment from the 80s and had really gross yoga mats that made my dirty gym socks look good lol.

Food was good overall, live music was enjoyable, bed was comfy, shower was nice, pool did the trick, and the tennis court and road hockey area was a nice addition to have some recreational fun.

Would not go back on my own accord, very over priced and too run down to enjoy a “resort” that promotes a much higher quality experience

I have been at the Oak Island Marina for 6 years and have been very impressed the last couple of years! The food has been much better these last 2 years since the new chef has arrived.
The marina manager, Marc, is always very helpful and easy to talk to. He is always able to figure out solutions to any issues which may arise. Oak Island Resort & Marina is lucky to have such a dedicated employee.
Now the resort just needs to figure out how they are going to have another Autism centered weekend. They had one a couple of seasons ago, then they canceled their next Autism weekend without much communication or explanation to the families. The Autism weekend was amazing for my sister and she still talks about it to this day.the ball is now in your court to organize and schedule another weekend!

I stayed in the cabin with 3 other adults. The space was decent. The location is beautiful and there are plenty of activities to do if you want to mountain bike, swim, go in a kayak etc. The big recommendation I would have is to not use the sofa bed that pulls out. Very uncomfortable but they always are. The breakfast is good! All you can eat. Limited on fruit, pretty much only melon which is a bit tiresome, a banana or apple would go down well. A selection of eggs maybe? Rather than just hard stodgy scramble. I would recommend literally 1 or 2 nights max.

We were not disappointed upon arriving at your hotel resort. The views were breathtaking, the landscaping stunning, our rooms cozy and beautiful but in the end, what we will remember most was the warm welcome and genuine attentiveness of Karen and Amanda at the front desk, and Josh who served us breakfast on the first morning.
All were so quick to respond to our questions about the area and the hotel, offering ideas and suggestions for our short visit, interested in where we were from and best of all, interacting with this wonderful mix of joy and humor.
Yes when we look back on our time here, not only will we remember the place, but also the people who took such good care of us.

Great ambiance, comfy beds, extremely clean rooms! Great great staffs, amazing receptionist! And facilities are just beyond par.must stay at this place and check out the history of Oka Island if you plan to visit. Can’t go wrong.

The wifi and the phone did not work in the cabins on the water but very nice place to sleep clean house and it was not my best stay. Way over priced aswell.

Went for a 3 day destination wedding. Everything is OVERPRICED! You're only paying for the property, not the amenities. Rooms lacked mirrors and decent lighting. It was very difficult to get ready. Food is average and was nothing special. There is a very strange vibe at night. Cant place what it was. Some of the staff were great while others were rude or just incompetent. Wifi SUCKS! Especially outside in the chalets. It was a challenge to connect to. I wouldn't go back

Interesting for fans, but not loads of stuff to see. Worth a quick stop though. Wish they had stocked Men's large t-shirts better. Most good designs were out of stock. That was disappointing.

Love the Oak Island Resort. Stayed here a couple of years ago at one of the chalets. This time we stayed at the hotel.

I can't say enough good things about this resort - they just do everything great. The staff are some of the most courteous I've ever met - the counter staff, the servers, the maids and the landscapers. The resort is well maintained and has a colorfull beachy vibe. The gardens are well manicured. Food at the restaurant is fabulous - even the buffet breakfast was superb. Most nights (if not every night) there's live entertainment at the lounge. They usually have the same line up of artists that they rotate - and they are all very good! Lots to do - group bon fire down by the beach every night, the chalets have private ones, 2 pools (one indoor with a hot tub and sauna, one outdoor), exercise room, water sports at an extra (small) fee, mini putt, etc. Excellent views of the harbor showcasing small islands, a marina, and sail boats sailing by. The view can be seen from half of the rooms (the ones on the back side of hotel, the restaurant and the large deck that offers extra restaurant seating as well as just a place you can go to relax. The deck also has a few fire tables to relax in the evening.

If visiting from out of province I highly recommend oak island resort as your accommodation to take in the local hospitality and culture. Also a great destination for groups (weddings, confences, family get togethers) there's enough to do durring the day and the evening that you wont need to leave the resort. Even the local people like to come here to stay and relax!

We had a chalet on the water 1 weekend and enjoyed being there. The main resort it out of site and the ocean is at your fingertips. We had the breakfast buffet which was fairly well prepared our first day. The second day every aspect of the buffet was amazing. The kids enjoyed both indoor and outdoor pools and the min putt!

It was a very relaxing experience with very nice accommodations and breath taking scenery thank you for a wonderful stay

I never leave reviews but I thought the resort might like to know so as they can bring things back up to the level of quality they usually have. Both my girlfriend and I have had pleasant experiences with Oak Island in the past. Recently, we decided to spend our vacation and a decent amount of money for a kayak package at this popular resort. While the partnering kayaking company did a fantastic job I must say the resort itself really fell short of our expectations. We are both pretty easy going people and never complain. First and foremost, for a seaside resort, any seafood served should be done right. I could understand if there was a one-off food problem during a meal. Unfortunately, all of our meals included seafood that was way over cooked. We also got a massage while there. Something not included in the original package so we paid extra for it and expected good things. We get massages a lot and have even had massages there. While my girlfriend had a good treatment my massage was the worst I have ever had. So much so that I actually found myself hoping it would end early. The cottage we stayed in was actually really nice but I found myself a little turned off right off the bat when I found some nasty white “mystery” stains on one of the blue decorative pillows on the bed. While I did think the servers and staff were very friendly and kind, I was truly disappointed that I spend as much money as I did to have such a sub-par experience.

We are supposed to have an ocean view room but all we can see from the windows is the loading area at the back of the restaurant. The room is dated. Bathroom doesn’t smell nice. Disappointed.
Bathtub drain clogged. In the middle of the late evening, we were offered to change to a land view room. Front desk apologized and gave us complimentary breakfasts for two days.

Amazing place. The staff are friendly, food is delicious. Love being by the water. Musical entertainment at night is always good and fun. The spa experience is amazing and a must do! Never had a bad experience at oak island.

Had great weekend at Oak Island. Enjoyed MayFest yard sales. On rainy Saturday and even more of them on Sunday as we drove around and down to Chester.

Renovated wing is well done. Views are gorgeous, and so close to the mysterious Oak Island. Loved the fire pits. Restaurant was okay, good hot and cold breakfast buffet. Loved the large coffee mugs, my friend and I bought one each $10 plus tax. Elevator to meeting rooms extremely small. Of the five floors, only two are wheelchair accessible. No concierge service, had to pull heavy luggage up stairs. When I asked if there was an elevator, the lady at the front desk said "What do you expect, we're built into the side of a hill". Asked for regular tap water with ice, charged $3.00 plus tax. Had 1 piece fish and chips $14.00)
, but they weren't anything special. Would have liked a gift shop on site.

Lovely setting but the restaurant service is not good. Dirty glasses, overcooked food. Stay here, eat somewhere else!

Stayed 2 nights, woke up both mornings without water in the rooms. Staff did best they could however I feel that the resort could do better in helping and compensating the guests for these types of issues.

Excellent resort and restaurant. The Salty Dog boat tour of Oak Island with Tony Sampson is outstanding!

Family friendly resort with tons of activities available. In-house restaurant has great tasting food, drinks and service.

Great location close to the water and a short drive away from Chester. Clean room and friendly staff.

This facility was extremely dated and requires updating. The walls of the rooms are very thin and you can hear everything in the adjacent rooms. During our stay the people on one side of had their alarm going off for over 2 hours. The hotel was very short staffed, and service although friendly, was very slow.

The rooms were fine but the staff, view and the fantastic food made our Anniversary a wonderful celebration.

It's a nice spot, and the cabin is right on the Atlantic ocean, we had an issue with the fridge that was taken care of, the day of check out. Stopped to have breakfast at the restaurant and it was alright, food was cold and not a huge variety for what it cost me. I wasn't overly happy with our waitress, she was rude and when we sent something back to the kitchen she mocked us to the other staffing clear view of us. I'll stay at the hotel/cabin again but I won't be eating at the onsite restaurant.
