Oakhill Pines Camp & Trailer Park Ltd

Awesome private spot. We stayed another night because we liked it so much. Swimming pool, public facilities all well-maintained. My local friend introduced this place to us and now Im introducing it to all my other friends!

I have stayed at this campground with my motorhome both in 2022 and 2023. In 2022 I was located in the overnight/seasonal area for a month. In 2023 I was in the seasonal area.
This family owned campground was a great place to stay. The campground is very picturesque with tall pine trees which is not often seen in RV campgrounds. A great place for children and has a large pool.
The owners were very friendly; live on site, and always available to provide assistance.
Decent WIFI.
I would not hesitate to recommend this RV and tent campground to those considering a stay there.

We stayed in Cabin 5 for 1 night. We were very impressed with how clean it was and especially pleased with how clean the washrooms and showers were. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we checked in, right til we checked out. Lively pool and playground too. Highly recommend.

We come here often for our family camping. We absolutely love it here. We have already booked sites for this coming summer! So stoked
There is a small pond as well, although we cannot go in there it is still nice to have that.

I absolutely loved my experience here. Recently moved to the area and wanted to check out some campgrounds. So far, this is my favorite!

The campground is very beautiful and well maintained. Bathrooms are clean and good wifi. Close to many trails, and the new owners are very nice.

12 + families won’t be coming back next year as seasonals because refusal to renew by new owners and many more choosing not to come back.
Including an amazing friend I met this summer as my first season, she was there with her family for 10 years!

Even my own family is not allowed back

$40+ thousand dollar investment we bought already in their park with a beautiful deck, we got to use for 5 months!
Never a warning! Never an email! Nothing!
When we went to renew we were told they weren’t renewing us as we weren’t allowed back.

My offence …?

Someone in the park had their camper for sale on a local buy and sell page because they had been evicted for calling at 1am to complain about bright lights left on behind their camper and the people were gone away for the weekend. She couldn’t sleep. The policy is no bright lights. She asked if they could please go turn them off.
There ended up being many negative comments from people on how unhappy they now were with this park since the new owners took over.

I agreed with a comment. I said I found the owners very arrogant.
In which they are.
They are unfriendly, lack understanding or compassion. You can’t even get a smile or a wave. From the moment I was in this park I had no friendly interactions with them, even on check in.

They even closed the kids playground after Labour Day and when kids went to use it, they kicked them off and said “summer is over “
Meanwhile the park is still open until Oct 15 and people are still closing their campers down with their families.

They creep around peoples campers with flash lights. One lady even called the police late at night as she thought there was an intruder, the neighbour told her the next day it was actually the owner.

The one night after they had told 12 families they weren’t coming back next year we had a potluck and a fire going, music and kids dancing everywhere.
The one owner came up on his golf cart freaking out, just the night before he had told me to shut up to my face (we have it recorded on video)
We immediately started recorded again.
He got very angry “no phone! No pictures “ he yelled.
He then jumped off his golf cart and charged at the women recording.

The last month has been extremely difficult for us all with very short notice to get our investments moved or sold.

I don’t ever recommend stepping foot in this place.
It’s not a friendly place to be.

We stayed here for two nights, the first night our neighbors did not adhere to the quiet hours rule, and were not addressed by anyone at the main office, or security. The second day we attempted to pay for our next night, but the office did not open on time so we were left waiting around for an hour. We attempted to use the game room to find the door locked. The icing on the cake was when we attempted to take a shower only to find that you need to pay a dollar to get the showers to start. $1 is equal to five minutes. When you pay 50 dollars for a night a shower should be included. This may be an ideal campground for those in a camper, but not ideal for those tenting who need to use the facilities.

We camped there, they do have basic cabins there which are cute. The washrooms, swimming pool and playground is beside each other. Clean and kepted up. The staff are friendly and nice. It is a great family oriented environment, great experience

Had a great 3 night stay at Oakhill Pines, lots of trees and shade, very quiet. Washrooms were clean, pool was excellent, my kids loved it. The new owners were very polite and friendly, we will most certainly be back.

We stayed in the rental cabin and it was super clean and the mattress did not look like much but I had a heavenly sleep! (Wanted to check on the brand but had a cover on it so could not) Also the owners were super nice and helped us out when we forgot to bring something. Our kids spent hours in the playground which is also very well equipped with a castle, ship, airplane and much more. The swimming pool also seemed nice and clean but did not have a chance to use it because the kids had a runny nose. Definitely will use it next time. And the kids enjoyed the train ride around the camp! Also being close to Bridgewater is a plus only 5 min to Tim Horton and even close to the new Starbucks was great! Definitely will come again.

Stayed in cabin 9 for 3 nights, the kids had a great time. The pool, bathrooms and cabin were very clean. Playground is great, the train ride was a big hit and the 50/50 is fun. Only minor complaint is having to pay $10 extra over 4 people even if it’s just kids but would still come back. Super close to bridgewater which was nice to!

Stayed for 3 nights. It was a really nice and quiet campground. The wooded sites were really beautiful. Would highly recommend.

Had lots of trees that provided shade and privacy, and all the facilities such as the bathrooms and showers were really clean and well maintained! Would definitely come back!

Perfect campground for kiddos. My daughter had her first ever successful camping trip. Playground is awesome. Showers were really nice. $1 for 10 mins. Really not that bad.

Did not stay here. Drove through to look at sires. Reasonable rates, offers electrical, water and sewer hook up at all non tent sites. Lots of trees. That is a big plus for me. If I wanted to camp in a field, I could do that at home, for free.

Lots of old growth trees to keep lots more private. Accessible for tenting and RVs. Camp seasonally or per night!

Staff was very friendly but most of the campers are locals that have their campers there permanently. After finishing a long days work, I was going 20Km/h through the campground and thought i was being extra cautious. My neighbors (2 different camp sites) started yelling at me to slow down. It was a nice location and I wanted to go there again with the family but I will now scratch those plans. I don’t Appreciate getting yelled at when I follow the rules.

Spent the weekend here with my family for the first time in four years. I am very impressed with the upgrades they have made. This is such a lovely campground. I will definitely be coming back.

I really enjoyed the campsite and overall experience! Staff is friendly and they have all amenities you can think of. They even deliver firewood to your site.

Had such a great time here this summer. Love the set up and the employees were so helpful even finding forks for my boyfriend and I when we had forgotten them! Such a beautiful place.

I found this campground was very dusty and therefore picnic table unable to use. It is under tall pine trees very dark. Requested an open site therefore paid $4 extra (39.10 total) to not have sap from pine trees drip on my vehicle. Stayed one night only will find another campground next trip. Showers are $2.00

Excellent camp ground! Pool is clean, washrooms are clean, EXCELLENT play ground! Nice wooded campsites! Great activities for the kids! GREAT all around family campground.
Only disappointment, was the 1 dollar payment for a 10 minute shower!
Highly recommend this campground, just remember your change for the showers if you dont use your camper shower! We will be back!

Fantastic family campground with welcoming staff and Seasonal’s! The grounds are maintained well and it is such a clean campground! Highly recommend Oakhill Pines as a weekend getaway or seasonal spot, you won’t be disappointed!

We camped here for 3 nights. It's a campground made up of mainly seasonal campers/RVs. Many of the poor reviews about this place are accurate. The owners have an attitude however they treat seasonal campers better than those just staying for a short time. I noticed this at the pool. Seasonal camping children did whatever they wanted, but new kids to the campground got kicked out and reprimanded for the same things.

Two positives were extremely clean bathrooms, probably the cleanest I have ever seen camping, and the nice pool.

However, the lots were extremely small and very rocky. Children ran through our lot all the time. They constantly took shortcuts which is a respect and manners issue however owners did nothing. This campground has A LOT of dogs. We don't bring our dog camping for a reason, and some dogs should not be at this campground. One dog walked into our campsite and ate my pizza, another dog barked at every person to walk by day and night. It was a bit much.

I wouldn't go back however we didn't have a poor time either.
