Oceanstone Inn & Cottages

We had a wonderful experience. The staff are so friendly and willing to help. The location is stunning and very peaceful. I look forward to returning and enjoying the spa. The nearby restaurant is divine.

Super long wait times to check-in and to pay to leave the spa area. It’s soooo busy!
Hydrotherapy is nice but the hot tubs say maximum 8 people and there’s a dozen in each hot tub. It’s a nice spot but I won’t be coming back

Easily, no question, better bang for your buck at Sensea Spa. This spa is about half the size, check-in direction could have been clearer… what bothered me the most was the very loud talking and laughing from other guests. When I brought to this attention of front staff after giving my input on the experience, the response was that talking was “not
discouraged”. Now I understand talk at a low voice, whispering – sure. But what we dealt with was people coming in and out of the saunas laughing, yelling loudly, no respect for individuals around them. An experience to a hydrotherapy spa should be a place to relieve stress, relax, put your mind at ease – I felt absolutely none of that on my waste of a three hour stay. In fact, I felt tense and very disappointed after leaving.

Needless to say, Oceanstone – do better. I will not be returning. 100% waste of money and absolutely do NOT recommend.

The hydrothermal spa is awesome, and the restaurant is great!

We stayed in the Ocean Vista suite. I would not pay the high price to stay here again. We did not sleep well due to the machines stored below the suite. They were constantly turning on and off, keeping us awake throughout the night.

The cleanliness of the room can also be improved. The suite smelled of mould, and there were spiders all around the ceilings. We also found balls of hair around the floors of the suite. We opted to shower at the spa rather than the room as the shower was not clean.

For the price, the rooms need some work.

I haven't reserved yet, but I was there in person to book a room for next month. It was clean and beautiful place with a fantastic view

Oceanstone is a 5-minute drive from Peggy's Cove, right by the sea, with sunset views. Accommodation is available in Cottage, suit, breakfast included, not big but very clean, and service is excellent. They're building a new Spa area. It'll be even more fun.

Had a great week here. Food was top and the staff were very polite and happy. Service was always number one to the staff here. Can't wait for the upgrades to be done to take advantage of them. I would love to return sometime soon.

Had a one night stay and although it was peaceful and relaxing, I don't think it was worth the price

We ended up staying here unexpectedly and the staff were so helpful, understanding and accommodating in helping us find a room for the night. The room we stayed in was perfect! Included breakfast was A+! Everything was clean and modern, the grounds looked really nice and well maintained. I hope to stay here again next time I’m in the region!

Really nice place to stay. Pricey. Loved the cabin at the end. Everything was great.
Only comment I would have, is about breakfast. I found they really cut corners on breakfast. Juices are from a bottle. Syrup for pancakes were in a small plastic container, and it was Aunt Janina, not even maple syrup.
The rest was ok, at best. Just expected a bit more for that pricetag. We usually made breakfast at the cabin, bought eggs etc.
I would usually go in, grab a to-go container, grab a few things we wouldn't have at the cabin, and go back and eat breakfast on our deck.

We enjoyed our stay, and look forward to visiting again in the future when all the new amenities are completed!

We stayed in the captins house and wow what amazing views and quiet. The staff here where also amazing. Keep up the awesome service you provide. 1 thing I did notice is that the office was very hard to find for you initial first visit, but found out it was the big yellow building. Other then that amazing thank you

What a gorgeous place. We will definitely be returning. It was just one night before getting to the next place on our road trip.

Every single part of it, from early coordinating to the ceremony and reception - start to finish.highly recommend. The staff was amazing

Room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. Deck outside. I could not have asked for anything more. Great breakfast included.

Our stay was great. Beds were comfy and room was immaculate. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. The Rhubard Restaurant was fabulous. A great weekend away. Would definitely come here again.

A great location for views, being close to the ocean and close to Peggy's Cove.
The rooms are rustic, but clean and serviceable.
You can get rooms with kitchenettes, which makes it easy to cook some of your own meals.
The restaurant Rhubarb is just a 2 minute walk up the hill - it has excellent food and great staff.
Overall, a very nice place with great staff.

Can't say enough good things. Beautiful location, nicely decorated rooms, great food, and the staff is outstanding. We hosted our wedding at Oceanstone the day Dorian was set to hit. They helped MOVE OUR WEDDING at the last minute, to the day before it hit. Everything went off without a hitch. Friends who had flown in from Berlin, LA, NYC, London, Toronto all blown away by every aspect of the resort.

Beautiful place! I was there for a training event. Overall impression - awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and great for relaxing after full days. Being used to frequent travel, I was happy with my stay. Although, a few improvements wouldn’t hurt. Specifically, more vegetables for breakfast and daily refill of toiletries should be a part of housekeeping.

Great service and nice view. Stayed at rhubarb. Maintenance was hammering way too early and walls were too thin. Not a great sleeping experience.

Every cottage has it's own name, size and theme. This one is called "Grey owl" and is basically for two.

Great resort. Stayed at "Crows Nest" cottage, which included breakfast.

Extremely good for family stays also. Great staff, clean resort boasting rustic charm with current convenience.

We ended up getting to the room late, there was a jacuzzi tub in the room started to fill the tub with water. Noticed a yellowish color thought it would get better but it was very yellow and didn't smell right. Couldn't tell anyone about it because no one is there to tell. Found gum in the sink and hair in the coffee machine. Three strikes your out sorry. Did complain in the morning nothing was offered by the operations manager COURTNEY F. SAID THAT SHE WAS GOING TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEM WITH THE GROUP. THE 2 GIRLS WHO DIDN'T CLEAN THE ROOM PROPERLY LEFT THEIR CARDS THERE. VERY POORLY MANAGED PLACE FOR THIS TYPE OF BUSINESS. GOOD THING THEY ARE THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN.

Gorgeous venue, clean establishment. Quaint and peaceful environment.
I was there for a private wedding - lacked some organizational prepping due to staffing (ie: tables not being set up for breakfast, not enough food prepped). Staff were very friendly though.

Nice resort. No air con in rooms. The space is nice and the rhubarb restaurant has good food. Very relaxing
