Honestly, why go anywhere else? The selection is excellent and service is excellent! I saw the exact same frames at an optical place in Bedford for $299, Optical Warehouse had them for $99.

Always a good experience with the teM at Optical Warehouse, especially our go-to optician Jonathan. Good prices, good service, no problems.

Reading the other reviews before choosing to go to optical warehouse led to me being blown away by how absolutely awful the service I received was. The two staff at the front desks were busy so we didn’t interact with them (in their defence, the two at the front did seem nice). Instead we had a person at a desk further back, that person was extremely rude and snarky. She couldn’t have made it any clearer that she had zero interest in assisting or answering questions. Why call customers over if you’re going to behave with a “I’m too busy for you” attitude the whole time and be directly insulting?

Hunter in the Bayers Lake location was great to work with. Great personality and easy to deal with while my partner and I each choose glasses. Very good at her job and an asset to this company.

I got two gorgeous pairs of new glasses for less than the cost of one pair from my optometrist's office. Great service.

The customer service was amazing. But extremely irritated that I had to pay $200 more than everybody else for the transition band lenses because my lenses would not work and dark and as they should’ve using the photo gray lenses and there was no explanation as to why they couldn’t tell me what the problem was. So for the savings that we saved initially we could’ve went to go walk to call and pay the same price.

I recently learned of this business and after having had no luck finding new frames anywhere I looked since getting anew prescription in January 2023, I went here. They have 2,000 pairs of frames on display so be sure to visit when you have time to browse and try on frames. Staff were super helpful and let me (and all other customers who stopped in) of sales and promotions that were on. I ended up picking out two sets of frames - one for everyday wear and one for sunglasses and they were an amazing price.especially for progressive lenses! I may check back after I get my new glasses in a couple weeks to see about another pair of daily wear! This is a must visit business for anyone in need of new glasses!

No pressure sales, great prices, great selection. This will be my new go to place for buying glasses.

Friendly staff. SO MUCH SELECTION for glasses. We spent about 30 minutes just trying different styles. It was nice to be able to try them all in person and at a variety of different price points. I found a pair I was really happy with and the staff does the rest for you. Staff were knowledgeable and I can't recommend this place enough.

My wife had recently purchased 2 pairs of glasses and have nothing but issues since. The glasses were not done right and when we tried to explain to them the issues we were told that her eyes must have suddenly gotten worse. We mentioned that the old glasses were fine but it made to difference, we were forced to seek an eye appointment to confirm and then back to the warehouse where they reluctantly sent the glasses back for repairs. When we got them back they were still off. It got to point where we will just get new glasses elsewhere as these are not functional as is. Please note that this us the first time we ever had an issue with prescriptions gone wrong. The amount of trips needed and the reluctance of staff to help out means we will never go back and never recommend the warehouse.

I purchased 2 pair of prescription glasses from this store.
I questioned as to why they were closed on Mondays. Having driven in on the past Monday to find them closed. (100 km round trip).
Both associates tried to justify why they were closed.
We all need a day off because we work Monday. This type of thinking was heard in the 50 and 60’ s. Not in 2022.
Most optical stores are closed on Mondays. Wrong, all Halifax stores are open except one.
I was told to make an appointment.
Certainly wasn’t told that when they called and told me the glasses were ready.
Been buying prescription glasses for 59 years. I will never go back to this store. The frames are really cheap quality. They also make their profit on the lenses. Which were very expensive. Go to Costco if you want a good deal on glasses.

The staff are so nice and the glasses come in an affordable price.i would highly recommend going there for your glasses.:) thank you guys so much!
