Worst rip off ever
Tried to charge me over $1000 for an alternator and claimed it takes 2 and a half hours to change an alternator! Which is 2 bolts
Left and went to Canadian tire they did same job for $400

Shame on u dealership

I have been going to O’regans for the better part of 15 years and I have always had good experiences up until the last few years. Sales Department is on the ball.great people to deal with, especially Mark Bell highly recommend. But do not take anything to service I don’t know what happened in the last 5 years in their service department but it’s absolutely shameful. They are unhelpful, arrogant and terribly unprofessional. Had the spare tire housing fall right out of the bumper on a new truck… went to get it replaced had to leave my truck for a whole day just for them to tell me they had to order the parts as they do not stock them. 2 weeks later my parts show up and I had to leave my truck for a whole day again for a 15 minute repair (it just pops into the bumper). A day after they installed the new one I noticed it was coming out. Was told by a service advisor to just push it back in it should be fine. 1 month to the day it was installed the new one fell out. Went back to O’regans and the sales people said they weren’t covering another one as it was service department error. Went to service and they said they would replace it again, but that I would have to leave my truck for a whole day again. I told them no and I’d just install it myself. They order the housing that goes into the bumper but not the lock cylinder. Have been waiting 2.5 weeks for a lock cylinder to come in. Finally got annoyed enough to call Pye Chevrolet in Truro and ordered the part which will be here Wednesday-Thursday. When I asked how long the lead time was for the part he said “1-2 days” so this just proves that they are incapable of handling the simplest of tasks. I will never take another vehicle to O’regans after being a loyal customer for 15 years and multiple Chev/GM brand vehicles. I will start taking my business to either Pye Chevrolet or Steele Chevrolet.

We needed a charging station to charge our Tesla and they were so nice and let us use their DC fast charging.

Pretty sure the guy who spoke to us either thought we couldn’t afford their cars and not to waste his time, or is prejudice to how we present ourselves but felt the nonchalant, don’t care attitude to our questions about their electric vehicle questions quite off putting. We were told that the way you buy electric now is to buy without a test drive and laughed when we mentioned other dealerships have electric on their lot for test drives. Definitely will not be buying a vehicle from them in the future.

Best experience ever buying a car. Matt was totally awesome. No pressure, very fast and efficient. Great guy. Folks in finance are also No. 1 They had exactly what I was looking to test out and in today's market, that's hard to find. Very exited for the soon arrival of our new trax. Thanks guys.

Very poor service. I have taken my truck there to get a rattle checked in the front end four times. The first three times they told me they couldn't find it because it was raining. The fourth time they told me it was something in the glove box rattling,

Bought my first corvette, and the service was excellent. Made sure I was always kept up to date and even ensured the vehicle was all ready to go by changing brakes over the inspection process.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with O'Regan Chevrolet, and I must say that I am thoroughly disappointed with the level of service I received. My vehicle was experiencing some issues that should have been covered under warranty, but much to my dismay, I was slapped with a hefty diagnostic fee. It's baffling to me that they would try to charge me for something that should have been their responsibility.

But the disappointment didn't stop there. The staff at O'Regan Chevrolet were not only rude, but also incredibly stubborn and unhelpful. It's as if they had no interest in actually assisting me or addressing my concerns. Their lack of professionalism was evident from the moment I walked through the door.

I attempted to explain the situation to them, hoping that they would understand and rectify the situation. However, my efforts were in vain. They dismissed my concerns without even a hint of empathy or understanding. It's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them.

Dealing with O'Regan Chevrolet was a frustrating and disheartening experience. I expected much better from a reputable dealership, especially when it comes to honoring warranties and treating customers with respect. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice and explore other options. Save yourself the headache and frustration of dealing with a company that clearly lacks integrity and basic customer service skills.

I don't often leave reviews, but feel that my experience with this dealership should be shared to help potential future customers.

In fall of 2022 I purchased a used higher-end performance vehicle from this dealership. Service was great up to the moment vehicle was purchased. At the time of the purchase I was told that if I wanted a copy of the maintenance records for the vehicle, they could be provided. My concern was specifically with what was done to the vehicle when it was taken in on trade, so that I was fully informed and also would have complete records for the vehicle when I eventually go to sell it. Since then I have reached out to the sales representative, Chris, various times reminding him that I require a copy of the record. 8 months later and I still haven't received the documents. If for some reason they couldn't find the record, I would at the very least expect to be kept in the loop. Certainly appears that they don't care.

As an owner of a business with over 90 service vehicles and pieces of heavy equipment, I understand what makes good customer service in a dealership. It is not how they treat you leading up to a sale, but how they treat you after, that speaks to their commitment to their customers.

Will not be supporting this dealership again.

Horrible.and I'm easy to get along with.appointment for free oil change. Been here 90 min trucks not in yet.no update.sat back down. I'll get my money's worth in free coffee.

2nd visit.way better.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Walden regarding some issues I was having with my Cadillac XT5. He was very prompt at looking into our warranty coverage and ordering the replacements before my warranty ended. He even provided us with replacement lug nuts as mine were rusting. We appreciated his service and felt he went above and beyond.

I want to say thank you, it was a wonderful experience to buy my first Buick (without my husband). A 2023 Encore Gx, Sapphire Metallic. Mark Bell made me feel like buying a car was an easy choice, he didn’t pressure me for a sale. He understood what I wanted and showed me my Encore.
I have bought and looked at other dealers, but this place was far more the best service, especially when I went in with my daughter in law. I wasn’t treated as just a ‘female’ as other companies do that.
The F&I Manager, Michel Boone was excellent as well, walked us through every step. Even had my approval within 10 minutes of leaving.

Purchased a 2023 suv in September. So far its been in for two recalls a new fuel injector. The second fuel injector is now gone. Customer service is terrible. There is never a manager avaliable. The offer the bare minimum and praise their customer service. Do not waste 100k like I did.

If you car goes down they normally turn off the light and send you back to road till gm warranty goes out then they will recommend to pay for full engine. I paid 5000 for extended warranty even other gm does not accept that.

Fantastic service dept. Brandi is amazing. Always friendly and professional. Parts dept manager Chris Sturgeon is extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond.

For emergency repair they don’t provide any services since you have to wait for 24hr to 48hrs minimum to get anything done at this place. Better go to a certified mechanic save a lot of time and money.

Took my truck here to get worked on, was told by service the truck would be done today. Never got another phone call. Went there and no truck was ready and service was closed. Wanted my truck back so I could get the work done elsewhere and they can't even be bothered to unlock the door and get my truck.
Now I'm gonna be out ANOTHER DAY OF WORK.so I miss out on making my days wage and I needa pay these ppl for my truck. Don't get your work done here.

Walked in to inquire about a new vehicle. Met with Mark B. Not very enthusiastic or engaging. Answered questions with an almost dismissive attitude. Not a great experience overall.

Had my key fob battery changed in NB, driving though Hammond's Plains the next day my car wouldn't start. Got it towed here. Lady on the phone said it would be 24 hours before anyone looked at it, even marked as an Emergency and when I mentioned it was just a problem with the key fob the female staff said "well you're not the only emergency we have", I left my car, went to Enterprise and rented a car to drive the 4 hours back home. Found my backup key fob that evening, and called at 8 am, which is an hour before they open (started online), and someone answered. I said I found my back up fob and if they found out it was the just a problem with the fob, I'll just use the found one. They said they already looked at the FOB the day before (I wasn't contacted and drove 4+ hours home because staff said it would be AT LEAST 24 HOURS). The probably was whoever had changed my battery the day before installed it backwards. For 24+ hours it worked fine before the car died. Drove 4 hours to get my car, white knuckled on the highways, get there, get charged almost 90$ for them to not notify me causing me to rent a car, and to flip my fob battery. The walkway wasn't shoveled, where you wait for them to bring your car out. Car was still covered in snow, needed to be scraped, so I did that and as Im getting the car set back up for the next 4 hours drive back, one of the staff came out (the one who was asked to shovel after I said something about the snow) and told us we had to leave faster because their transfer truck needed to block off the entire street. Pretty sure they convinced me to never buy a Chevy again.

Quick professional and efficient customer service from Mark Bell and Micheal Boone from O'Regans Chevrolet on Robie Street.

My husband and I had a hard time getting to Halifax from the Dartmouth side and Mark was awesome to make our purchase deal an extremely seamless process conducting our business over the phone until the day we were able to pick up our new car!

I have to say there are many car dealerships around the HRM that I have personally had dealings with, who were either rude to me, would only talk to my husband when I was there sitting beside him, even would ask my husband what my name was rather than ask me. Both, Mark and Micheal were truly amazing people during our phone conversations as well as our in-person met up, they were both the complete opposite of any of the other dealership interactions I have had. I appreciated that a lot.

I would HIGHLY recommend O'Regans Chevrolet on Robie Street. OH AND don't forget to ask for Mark Bell. You won't be disappointed.
