Within the last couple of days I've had the pleasure of working with Sharon Fralic, I was introduced to her through a work associate. Her response time was unbelievable and her customer service was astounding! I'm a young student with a ticket on my record thus making my insurance cost me a lot, however just within a few emails Sharon now saves me over $700 a year compared to my last policy with the same plan! I shopped around for a few quotes for home insurance after over paying for years, spending hours on the phone with other providers. Ten minutes on the phone with Dawn and she made things happen right away. If you have CAA call OTC and get a quote, we ended up with an email and new insurance provider right away. She’s also provided a quote for my Auto insurance and looks like I’ll move that over now too.

We needed new insurance for both our home and auto and OTC didn't disappoint. Dawn was really good to deal with and I'm very happy with the service she provided. After using this company for over 13 yrs (literally 10's of thousands of dollars) and with my insurance renewing in a couple months, I decided to search online for cheaper insurance.
In less than an hour I had the same coverage for less money.
So I canceled my insurance through OTC and received a refund cheque. About a month later they sent an email saying my new renewal was on the way. I immediately sent an email back stating I had canceled my insurance through their company and they sent an email back apologizing for the mistake.
Fast forward about a week.the day before my mortgage comes out of my bank account and the insurance company has taken over $450 from my account! I immediately called OTC. After several calls and finally talking to the president of OTC. I was told it was their mistake. I told them I could come in and get the cheque to bring my bank account to where it needed to be. The president of the company (Christine) says a check will be mailed from Ontario. I said that was unacceptable I need that money today.she, more or less says: tough luck.
I can't even believe a company like this is allowed to operate in this country. I'll share this true story with everyone for many yrs and you're welcome to share it too.
