I visited there in this fall season, had one Large pizza got one medium garlic finger free. I really enjoyed the pizza and garlic finger the dough was very soft. Also tried some wings, it was delicious. The customer service was great. Highly recommend

Amazing food, a little bit pricey but for what you order and receive, it's amazing, taste delicious! Highly recommended

What a lovely place with some of the best food I've had! The burgers are so good, we've also had the lobster roll that was delicious! Service is friendly, and prices are very reasonable

The food has always been above avg, and excellent for NS.
The fresh digby clams have been the best in NS. And we typically get them wherever we go. They are definitely bigger and have a better coating.
The only reason I won't give it a 5 star is because of service and prices. The clams used to be about $17. They are now $25. Then $3 to upgrade to sweet potatoe fries. We're getting to the point where for a little more, we might as well get fine dining.
As for service, depends on who you get. The younger staff are typically happy and helpful. The older one. Well, prepare yourself for huffs, eye rolling, attitude if you have more than 4 people, if any are kids, and you'd be lucky if she isn't blunt and annoyed to take your order. She not brutal, but enough to ask why should I yup this person a dime. We go out to eat because we want to have a nice date night or family meal away from the stresses in life. I shouldn't feel like my business is a PITA to a waitress.
In any case, if you're in Port hawksberry and want some if the, if not the best clams in NS, this is the place to go.
Atmosphere, it's nicer than a lot of restaurants in the province outside of Halifax, but nothing special either. It's clean and the slit machines are completely segregated and really can't be seen or heard.

The dep fried clams were so flavourful and the service was excellent.
The staff took the time to ask the customers where they were from and made you feel at home.

Papa's has a large menu of everyone's favorites. The food was home style, fresh and delicious, it certainly hit the spot. Service was great and atmosphere was clean and comfortable. We will be back

"Seafood chowder", in quotes, was the worst I've ever even laid eyes on: crunchy under cooked potatoes accounted for 80% of the mass of this "product". The rest is mostly anemic celery and still-frozen-tasting microscopic pieces of seafood that was no doubt previously used to make stock already and refrozen, combined "post production", in the thinnest, most watery skim milk possible. This is barely stock, let alone "soup", and definitely not chowder. I've had water colour paint wash liquid that was milkier and thicker. Owner ought to be ashamed to call this food and charge $16 for. Fries were decent.
