Perfect, everything a beach needs. Depending on the current, the water is clearer west of the lake inlet. One point deducted because the park is parked randomly on the lawn.

The big plus is the proximity to the city. Within 10 minutes you can walk to this extremely beautiful place. Many campers were no longer there, but I can imagine that there is no privacy with full space. The place isn't cordoned off either...

Very nice place to stop and relax. We didn't take the tour around the town but we did have a nice picnic supper.

This local park is well maintained and a part of our local history. We forage mushrooms, apples and oysters (at low tide) from the park. Our dogs love the freedom to run here. Great place to come for a picnic and swim in the summer. Lots of seabirds...

Beautiful rest stop with wonderful views of fall colours on the surrounding mountains.
Warning for the squeamish: no flush toilets, just outhouses.

Beautiful park to enjoy some kayaking in, love seeing the different varieties of birds that nest around the area.

Beautiful park with a beautiful view, the road in from the main highway is a fun one for motorcycles! There is also a beach and changing rooms if you want to swim.

We had the best time. Beautiful and peaceful, people are all so friendly and got to play washer toss with the greatest bunch.

Extremely picturesque location! Very calm and peaceful. But be aware of cold wind from the ocean.
