Parker Street Food and Furniture Bank

Tried to donate a couch and love seat, the love seat has a small area on the back corner the cat scratched, but could easily be covered up with a material patch, and was told my items were not good enough to pass on to their clients. People can not be that in need if all they will take is new and unflawed furniture. It’s getting hard to support places like this.

No call back in months after leaving several messages.
Atrocious. Hopefully someone takes the initiative to check the messages there to at least recieve complaints lol

When I just moved into the area I needed help with getting started with my new apartment and food, they were very helpful, some of the staff was really helpful and understanding.

I took a friend there to get some help and they said that the person they talked to was very rude. If you don't have any compassion for people then you shouldn't be working there.

I went here once or twice to pick up food because I've lived here all my life and have worked and contributed to the economy. However there's a lot of grabby foreigners that come to this place to get free food because they're too lazy too lazy to work and want free stuff. I don't think they should be given free food over people that were born here and worked here all their life

So helpful. I cannot believe the kindness coming from Parker Street Food and Furniture Bank. Beautiful people and truly a life saver! Wow.
