Payzant Home Hardware Building Centre - 250 Sackville Dr

Worst place ever to get your kitchen cupboards and counters.
We ordered 10 cupboards, and 3 were really beat up badly. We started this process in Feb and the project is not complete.
Jenny in this department is horrible, no one comes to your home to do measurements and the products are delivered regardless of condition.
Finally the new cabinets came and then the countertops which only one was the right measurement.
Then we had to send it back and wait again.
A new counter came and it has an over the counter bar style and it is wobbling horribly.
Mind you Jenny designed this and she said that it needed two more supports to keep it from moving which cost 600.00 after paying 17,800.
Her mistake and her or pazants problem.
If this is not taken care off within this week then I am sending a email to the head office and complain about this department and in particular Jenny.
Do not deal with pazants,
Go elsewhere.

Called Payzants in Lower Sackville about chicken wire and a very pleasant young man answered the phone. He politely asked if he could put me on hold, and a couple of minutes later came back with the answer for me! Wish I would have gotten his name because great customer deserves to be recognized!

As usual great and knowledgeable staff help you find quickly what your are looking for. Its always a pleasure to shop there

The men in the warehouse are awesome! Easy going and accommodating. It's much better than Home Depot where they wouldn't do the cuts we needed.

Great store in Sackville for a very long time. Always find a variety of different items. Little $$ sometimes but good place to shop. Staff know their stuff

The service staff at Payzant really rise above the rest. Bought a fridge here and to troubleshoot the rep made a house call. The issue was with the manufacturer so I had a few model delivered on the same day. I can’t say enough about the staff here. It’s worth the drive to Payzant.

I always come to this location for any renovation or remodel advice, they’re team here always knows how to help or what I need.

I’ve been to this location twice and called once. The costumer service here is very poor. I was asking about a return from another location and tony from the windows and doors was so unbelievably rude. He first said NOPE, before I even finished my sentence. The other location told me it wouldn’t be a problem. Once I was able To get out my question he asked what type of window which i had yo look up. He then sighed audibly like a child who didn’t get there way. I had I asked him to be patient while I located the type of window explaining I was not the contractor who purchased and he hung up on me. I did call back and speak to management. They implied that they give out what they get. Would not recommend this location. The drive to truro is well worth the customer service

It was impressive to see their warehouse and all the options available there. Probably the biggest HH I've been to. A driver went above and beyond to show us some materials around. He took his time explaining and confirming everything. The teenagers in story were not as knowledgeable, quick, or keen to help, but at least they acknowledged us. They need better training, as we had to go to the Dartmouth unit and literally order from there, as we were told that the order could not be placed in Sackville.

Go to hardware store always have what I am looking for awesome customer service always recommend to others

Bought big o then once I paid get outside and they do not have it. Frustrating going back in for a refund.

are well stocked. Well laid out. Has drive threw if you are picking up building materials, such lumber etc. Has a large separate warehouse for doors and windows

This locally-owned home hardware store has been serving the Lower Sackville and area community for over 50 years. You'll find most of the basic necessities here or they can order it for you and it's usually there within a week.

Many items were not in stock as listed and staff was non knowledgable and uninterested in assisting. After calling another store and tracking down the items, I was informed that it all could of been at this store with the internal inventory search.

Just had a great experience ordering lumber from this location! Great customer service! Less expensive and delivered faster than expected!

Staff is great. Loved working with them. Some of the best people. Management not so much. Especially current management. Oh, and I'm speaking of Enfield location. Do what they ask or tell you to do or else there is the door. Don't let it hit you on the way out. Actually they would probably like it to hit you. They don't care about what you have done for them or the years you have put in. Means nothing to them. If you are not making money for them, see you. Would not recommend this place for work.

Great place to get your needed supplies but if you need 1" number 8 screws right now ypu won't find them here. They have loads of number 6 tho.

Nice employees and all that stuff but I paid for stuff went out back and it wasn't in stock like their computers said so had to go through the reimbursement process at different gates

Staff are friendly and eager to help. Like any store a few products are not 'top of the line' items but generally good quality. This is a regular stop for me.

One terrible experience after another - I'm absolutely done shopping here. Used to be a great hardware store years ago. I ordered an item online; rude staff at the pickup counter barely answered my questions, obviously annoyed that I'd ask him anything. Then I bought an item in-store, rude cashier told me "I'm not accepting cash, I closed my till". I wasn't even paying by cash. He couldn't get me out the door fast enough as it was 5 minutes to closing. Returned the next day to return the online item (which was incorrectly described on the HH website), only to be rudely told by the same person at the pickup desk that they aren't accepting returns (understandable, but no need to be rude) and when I asked when I'd be able to return it, he said "How would I know; nobody told me". I won't return there except to take back the item when possible. I never thought I'd say this but I get better service at Canadian Tire.

I asked 3 people for help and got 2 I dont knows and one I'm with another customer who never came back to help! I'll never go back terrible experience

A few times that I have gone to purchase lumber the staff in the yard were less than helpful. On separate occasions they asked if I was sure that was what I wanted with the piece of lumber in my hand to ensure the match. The younger staff sat on his phone hidden on a step and seemed bothered that I needed to ask him a question. Still playing on his phone as he walked towards me then proceeded that I would have to purchase a 2x4 and saw it to get the dimensions I wanted. Another gentleman called me Missy. Not too impressive for me to spend my money there.

Amazing deliver crew today. Chris and his guys were on point and got the board in with less than perfect conditions. Looking forward to continuing to use Pazyants for all my drywall projects.

Store selection may not compete with the other larger stores in the area, however the staff are mostly experienced and knowledgeable. In the very least they are professional. Pricing is fairly competitive however often just a little more.
