I recently dined here it left a lasting impression. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff making the experience enjoyable. Tried various dishes but the food is pretty bland and forgettable. There are better and cheaper indian places in the area.

After a long time, I had a great beef dish in Halifax. It was a beef brisket special that had coconut milk on the bottom, with soft Kerala parotta on top of it and finally topped with the yummiest beef curry on top with cashews and onions. It was so good that I almost cried after eating it.

Oh man! I am not gonna visit this restaurant again. I ordered Paneer tikka masala and when it came it was like panned dipped in water and than I want to the counter and asked them to replace it, but post that it spoiled my family and my mood. We left the food and paid the bill and left

I recently visited the Peacock Indian restaurant in Nova Scotia and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

I ordered a variety of dishes from the menu, including the chicken biryani, pepper chicken and chilli chicken. Each dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable, making it a great value for money.

Very poor customer service.staffs at services were very busy with online orders they don’t even pay attention after half an hour, took 1 hour to prepare weekend special food, the fun part is that food was not hot enough even though after one hour.

Had an amazing meal today at peacock. The Garlic Nan with butter chicken was very tasty. Also enjoyed their special masala wings and Fish fry. Servers were very friendly with the kids.

I love this place. They always have something special. Their porotta is awesome. I love their Dosas too.

We placed an order for chicken biryani. They gave us a time for pick-up, later they said they haven't started making it after I walked in. Had to wait another 25min or so only to get a "watery" biryani. Who ever made this did not even have the minimum courtesy to check if the rice is fully cooked or not. Never had I ever had a biryani which had water! Terrible experience after waiting over one and half hour!

I had to wait like 10mins to get the drinks and 30mins to get food and the food was wrong. The waitress kept taking orders from other people instead of getting the food while the food right in front of them and just need to be place on the plate. And they served other people who came after me first. I had to pay for food and tips upfront. Can’t get money back if their service is terrible. Never go back

Delicious and refined Indian food, beautiful and clean ambiance.
Staffs were very friendly and took the effort to explain about the menu and the specialities. From my understanding it is not a usual Indian restaurant menu which i have seen in NS, they are more of a south indian style restaurant.
Will recommend for anyone who loves indian food and want to try something different.

Placed an order and waited for an hour, no communication from restaurant why the order was taking long, so I cancelled. I was charged anyway because they had been making the food, which I doubt because most of the items I ordered would be premade or prepped at least. There is no reason to keep someone waiting for one hour off peak business hours without communication. I doubt dine in customers would be kept waiting for that long.

1. In the order tracking the restaurant never indicated the order was ready for pick, it only said the restaurant is preparing your order for the entire time I was waiting.
2. Other restaurants have never had a problem contacting me before so I don't understand what changed this time.

Kizhi Biriyani was very tasty and traditional taste. Enough portions to justify the price. Will recommend. Another place for real south Indian tastes in Bedford NS.
Non vegetarian meals is also good but it will be more better if they use the matta rice instead of the white para boiled rice.

Very few veggi (punjabi) options are available but it isn’t an authentic punjabi taste. I was under the impression of fine dine where your meal would be cooked after you place an order but here it’s not like that, it is a QSR experience. Food is precooked and served in disposables.
Coming to the taste, myself being the last customer on that Saturday, they could have served the hot and fresh naans which they said that’s the only thing in my meal they would tandoor after the order is placed but the restaurant failed on their words. Taste of curry is Okay as I said it’s not an authenti taste.
Restaurant ambiance and service is fantastic.

Horrible horrible place to eat dinner. Quantity is not enough and subpar taste. Absolutely pathetic service and staff with bad management, took them 45minutes to get the food. Wasted my 100 bucks.

The food at Peacock Modern Indian Cuisine is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. Staff is so friendly! That Telugu girl especially? Swetcha… and Angela, I highly recommend this place.

This place is awesome!
Raj the owner came out and introduced himself and told us what he was making, he offered us some pastry bread to go with our meal and it was a perfect melody of flavors and spices. We had beef and chicken curry, highly recommended!
You must also have the kingfisher beer to match:)

Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish was great. I have ordered catering service for my daughter’s birthday and all my guests were apprised the food. Staff are so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food. Thanks to Roshan Macha, Jerry and Sherwin!

Bit expensive. Ordered 2 biriyanis. Pickle and pappad was not included. Need to pay extra for it. Also needs to pay for extra raitha. Usually most restaurants include pickle with biriyani.

Ordered through Uber eats. The food was good, but I've never seen any place charge $16 for only butter chicken without any rice. Ended up having to make my own because this was the only Indian restaurant I've ever ordered butter chicken off of and didn't come with rice.

My new favorite! Lots of choices, full of flavour.many gluten free options, and good prices. Glad I decided to try it.

Really enjoyed the chicken biriyani we ordered. Good quantity and very delicious. The spice level was just prefect.
