Pizza Corner - Sicilian Pizza

I went here after a night with my friend who needed a cup of water. I ordered a couple slices and asked for a cup of water but they refused to serve tap water. They stated I must pay for tap water. When I asked how much they said $5. I stated that was ridiculous and then one rude worker told me disrespectfully to get out if I don’t pay it. So we left after he made an inappropriate comment and waived at me when he saw I was disturbed.

If your in Halifax, a must place to visit. Pizza by the slice, always good. Donairs as well.

Pizza Slice, nothing else $8 bucks and half of the slice was just plan dry outter crust, couldn't really see any cheese on it either, first time I ever returned a slice of pizza for money back in my life.

Wings and donairs were absolutely delicious! Service was excellent. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again

If you’re introducing someone to Halifax, a Donair from Sicilian is a must. Personally I do not enjoy donair sauce but the meat and melted cheese on the pita make a great combination. Their slices are huge and worth it when it’s fresh and hot.

Whatever you did to your Subs in just the last month has lost me as a customer full stop. They went from 10/10 to a solid 1. Can't imagine ever ordering again now that I know how bad it can get.

I actually went two days in a row for a slice a pizza and wasn't disappointed. Their pizza is delicious and it's a huge slice. My partner has their Donair, he enjoyed it. Their customer service is fine but a little cold. Other than that we had a good experience.

Hot, fresh pizza is served in giant slices so come hungry! Popular spot for university students and tourists.

Donair was great. Pizza was huge and the sause was tasty. Good value for a quick grab after the bar

Ordered the doniar.was so dry and old.just basically some shaved meat on a cold pita bread with some very sweet sauce.would not recommend.

Also.we ask the front counter guy for napkins.he rolls his eyes and grabs some from underneath the counter and slams the napkins in the counter like we asked for something unexpected.just very poor customer service.

Last thing.this one guy was rubbing his face and head in the back.and then proceeded to grab some fries with his bare non washed hands to put them in a pan in the oven.

I do not recommend this place.especially that there are so many other (better) places around

Fantastic pizza and garlic fingers. Of all the pizza places in downtown Halifax these guys consistently win my vote.

Massive slices, great sauce, toppings, and crust. All in all the best pizza I've had in Nova Scotia!

Awful place with weird employees. They seem to lie a lot… very weird vibe in there. The pizza wasn’t awful tho

The big slice meatzza is quite good, a bit expensive. A lot of their menu items are unavailable a lot of the time (salads have never been available any time ive went). Some staff are amazing and some are very unfriendly and rude

Pizza is awesome. Had a slice for lunch but I can see this being the perfect after bar snack. One slice is huge. Could potentially be cut in half for two smaller eaters. Great deal!

Ordered 3 pizzas for a group of us staying at a near by hotel. All 3 were great, quick delivery got them there hot.

For a quick bite in a busy time this place is good. Generous portion of single slice pizza and chicken wings are good too!

Im sorry but they don't care anymore. They closed down bathrooms for those drunk nights, and being sober i now realize how awful the pizza is; The back 5 inches of my slice had no cheeze or topping. More than half of it was bare dough and the rest wasn't great.

Come for the Pizza, stay for the Donair! Second to none, this saucy, sweet, dream of a flavour bomb is sure to satisfy. If you come to Halifax and don’t get one of these, then you didn’t come to Halifax.

Terrible service ~ ordered online, receipt showed 30 minutes for delivery. Called an hour later to be advised they don’t deliver to our hotel.

This is a review of the Poutine not the Pizza.
This is the best poutine I've had in NS! Honestly this should be their specialty. The man that made it baked it and I'm telling you guys.try it. You'll be so happy you did. The curds were perfect the gravy! - so good.

I have always loved Sicilian pizza and their Donairs.top quality.and this location is great, located in Halifax's famous Pizza Corner. Delicious food and monster slices of pizza for very adorable prices.

Great giant slice of pizza. 5.50 for this monstrosity. It was fast and ready, warm, not too greasy. Abnormally small plate but whatever. It was still an amazing slice of meat pizza.

Went to try the pizza for the first time, I enjoyed it, but wasn't quite like a new York this slice, but still bought a pizza to take home as well.

Monopoly ask for anything but a pizza slice. No will be 20 min. Just order in from King of Donair. You won't need to deal with that asswhole service.

This is a classic place. One of the most old school, authentic, Halifax pizza and donair spots. I went back to Halifax for the first time in about 20 years, and it was just like I remembered, from years of university hang outs.

Best place in Halifax for a donair sub, the only place I get one. Other places are good but not as good as these guys.

Due to the pandemic, the place can only offer pepperoni slices. Normally, their works slice is killer. As soon as the pandemic dies down, be prepared for mayhem around last-call.

Called my pizza in when we were at bridge terminal in Dartmouth at first the people thought we were pranking them because we were all the way over in Dartmouth waiting for a bus but then we showed up to pizza corner and then the person who made the pizza gave me a medium for half the price and gave me a free drink five stars to him and I would recommend this place to anybody pizza was amazing the service was excellent will be back next time I'm in Halifax

I always love coming back when I'm in Halifax. A medium is good for 2 people. But we still got 2 to share.

I ordered a pizza here for delivery and when we got it it the dough was very undercooked. I called the store and explained the situation and was told "well it's gone through the oven so it should be cooked" and "we can't do anything about that". If that's how the pizza is usually cooked then expect undercooked pizza I guess.

If you LOVE raw food that probably isn't food safe you will love the Sicilian! Honest to god were the employees here taught foodsafe by Amou Haji? Calling this restaurant "The Sicilian" is an insult to Sicily, and that place SUCKS, could they not come up with something less original and less insulting to an entire province of Italy.

The delivery took forever, it wasn't cooked and it looked like a slug trail. If I had the choice between dining at the Sicilian or eating prepared bugs i'd eat bugs because at least they were COOKED.

So we ordered from them tonight and the pizza was literally raw. Like chewwy and raw. So we called the place and the guy was like yeah there's nothing we can do about it. It went through the oven, and like there's nothing I can do for you sorry. And we said like that's messed up you can't refund or anything or send us a new one? And he was like nah sorry. Also the pizza only had one of the toppings that we asked for.

Delicious food that was delivered just under 20min after ordering. Will for sure be ordering from here again. Highly reccomend!

Lets be honest, the only time the pizza is good, is when your drunk after a bar because you don't know any better.

Staying in a hotel for the night and, last minute, decided we wanted some pizza for a bedtime snack (healthy, I know). We ordered online and had a knock on our door about 20 minutes later. Super impressed with delivery time. As for the taste, we got the double cheeseburger pizza. It was somewhere between good and great, but not amazing. We’ll definitely order again.

Got hung up on and my order didnt come.tried to call again and the phone was off the hook.i get maybe ur having a bad night but come on dude

Possibly the worst donair I have eaten. No flavor to the meat, burnt wrap and soggy old tomatoes. Would not recommend. The one on titus street is much good so that's why I went to this one expecting the same.

Do not order poutine from here, I got cold poutine, with microwaved gravy, french fries are low quality frozen and taste synthetic, paid $8 for a small sized poutine. Asked for a hot sauce and sever asked for additional $1, did not like the food. Pizza is just ok, can't say about other items

Just moved here from Toronto where wonderful slices are available at too many places to list.saw the reviews online for Sicilian.went and obtained a slice fairly fresh.sorry, the crust was like cardboard, and it had the widest topping free zone from the edges I have every seen, maybe 2 to 3 inches, obviously to save money on toppings, which were just OK. Not going back.

Not great tbh, pizza was dry. I was charged extra for a slight drizzle of ranch on top, but not told of extra charge. I get that its supposed to be a large slice but a large plate to match would be helpful. Pretty disappointed.

Light on the toppings I mean everything. Place next door pieces are 50 % more expensive but way wat better looking pizza. Best choice for value is Pizza Pizza. We all know pizza is supposed to be awesome. #boldpizza

Stopped in for a lunch special, donair slice and a pop for $5.95 + tax. Fresh pizza at a good price in down town Halifax.

Weird being here during the day, but clearly a local gem! It’s a pizza and donair shop - what we were after.

I've had some really good Donairs in Toronto, so I thought I would try this place out. The meat was pretty good, but not freshly shaved and barely heated on the flat top. The sauce was terrible, like some kind of gritty icing for a birthday cake. They have limited toppings and use Frank's Red Hot as their hot sauce, which is very disappointing. They also have ZERO idea how to wrap a Donair. It's not a taco, you need to open the pita, stuff it and roll it.

Like Johnny K's, It caters mainly to a young and starving party crowd, that don't know what a real donair is, so maybe that is why the reviews are so high.

Best pepperoni pizza slice I have ever had. Crust was perfect not too soggy or too crisp, had a generous amount of sauce and the cheese was melted. Had donair sauce for dipping which was a nice addition.

The pizza is mediocre, rather bland and dry but my real issue was the stink of urine wafting out of the washroom into the whole dining area which is also very scuzzy, chairs from a shipwreck. I almost got sick and had to leave and this was in the afternoon.so why was the bathroom not cleaned in the morning? Makes a person wonder how safe it is to eat here. I will not return.

Since all the locals already know about it. If you're visiting, this place is a must after a night out.

Went to this place for dinner and waited 45 mins for our food, asked for the girl to wipe our table off, I stood waiting for a place to sit and eat as all the tables were dirty, waited 10 mins for the girl to come wipe the tables off and she didn’t come over so I got tired of waiting and wiped it off myself, right after I did that she comes out and wipes all the other tables off with a smirk on her face, not even asking to wipe mine and my boyfriends table off. The pizza I got was cold and tasted like it was sitting out all day, it was horrible. They had kids running around in their kitchen touching everything which is really unsanitary. My father asked for a can of soda which had something gross all over it so he asked for a new one and all she did was wipe it off on herself so he just asked for a different kind of soda. Everything was dirty and the restaurant needs new chairs that aren’t picked apart. Very disappointed.

Horrific. Place open til4. At 335 12 of us guys come in and the young guy at front says no food left. Owner I'm sure would love to hear that. Who wants sales? Place next door served us all. We dropped 200 easily. That guy next door was great unlike lay man here

This place didn't used to be anything special, just a regular pizza shop pretty much. I went April 2019 and it was so amazing! Try their new stuff!

Had the donair poutine! I gotta say for being next door to 2 poutine shops it was a pretty awesome poutine.it was my first of many!

My friends and I headed over to Sicilians after the game to grab a quick bite before going home.

My friends ordered pizza and to "save time" and avoid making two stops I decided to order a reg.poutine from their location as it was on the menu.

There was no line when we placed our orders and my friends got their pizzas shortly after. I figured mine may be a bit longer as it is not the main
selling food at this location so I waited. 10 minutes later after a herd of ppl came through and had their orders placed / received I figured at this point something was up. Just before I got the nerve to ask About my food's status, I overheard the floor manager figure out that the staff collectively over looked my order and then finally had one of the them get it started. They asked who ordered the poutine and then instructed me to wait in a different location.

I didn't complain- I just followed my instructions and waited because I know that mistakes can happen.

Another 10 minutes passed and As I was just about to say screw it and leave without my food, the floor manager came around and finally handed me my order. What really bothered me was that there was NO apology OR even an acknowledgment that I had just waited 20 + minutes for a regular poutine.

The food wasn't very good and the experience was excruciatingly awkward. Not worth my time or money.
