Pizza Delight

Unfortunately, I only stopped in to pick up gift certificates for Christmas, BUT we have been here before, and all has been great.

We were in New Glasgow for the recent curling event and decided to go to Pizza Delight. We were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, and the service was even better. Thanks for the hospitality.

Service was stellar; above and beyond, patience galore with our big crew (7 adults 7 kiddos)! Fresh food; great prices; ready fast. Brought what we needed before we could even ask. Will definitely be returning!

Good staff and best service. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

We dropped in to Pizza Delight on a sunday evening - we were a group of 9. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and asked if they could accomodate us and told immediately yes but he had to warn us it was only his 3rd day on the job. We promised to be kind. This same member of staff was also our server and he did well, considering we were a fairly big, walkin group and wanting 5 separate bills. And he served us all by himself with virtually no help from other staff members. We enjoyed our meals and hope that we did not scare him away from the job~

$14 an hour for a cook in this economy? I'd have to live in the parking lot to make that work!

You literally sell food, that's the business you are running. If that's all you're willing to invest in the person who makes your product.the reviews make sense.

Service was wonderful. The server Rhea was very attentive and friendly. But food was lacking in some areas.
Pasta was lukewarm and none of our meals came out at the same time.

Solid food, you know what you're getting when you go, okay prices, and some decent deals. Usually not busy so decent times for service.

Frequent here quite a bit with my family whenever we choose to eat out.
I've left a 5 star review here before for the food and service but our latest visit was trash from start to end the etiquette was very poor.
It was 5pm and only 1 other family there. It took a while to be seated then once we were we were placed directly next to the only other people there.
Next we waited yet again a unreasonable amount of time for our menus at which time our kids were provided no crayons and noone asked what we'd like to drink. Finally the waitress came to take our order and get our drinks at the same time. I remember making a comment about to my kids about how they were out back blowing the glass for our drinks to go in it was taking so long. I ordered the steak sandwich which was pictured with waffle fries. Apparently the large sandwich doesn't come with waffle fries but the waitress didn't bother to mention because it was clear she didn't know anything about her job. So when the food finally did come at the same time as our drinks I was disappointed about the missing portion, which apparently was never part of said dish. My kids asked for noodles with butter or margarine but it came out with garlic butter instead. At the very least my sandwich was made well and so was my wife's pizza. Then afterwards she just brought my kids their dessert without saying anything when really at this point we would've rather had them to go. Another 10 minutes or more goes by and she comes back to ask if we would now like dessert as well.no thank you I would just like the bill please. Then she comes and slaps it down face up so everyone can see. Then hovers around awkwardly until I pay instead of waiting for me to bring it to the counter. I sound like a Karen writing this but from start to finish I regretted going here instead of jungle Jim's.

The wait for our food was a long one, which we expected as there was only one server working. This would have been okay if the food had been good. The lasagna was still cold and one person waited so long that he had to get it as take out because everyone else had finished eating and he still didnt have his meal. It wasn't worth the price we paid and we will not be going back again.

Owner stepped up and corrected the issue. The below stands, but at least the owner made it right. I have since returned.

I ordered the big crave. It was brought to me by another waitress who wasn't the girl who took our order. We sat and waited for plates. They never came. So we ate it off the aluminum/tin pan with our knifes and forks. Not once did our waitress check in with us. Ran out of drinks half way through the meal. Our waitress was at the table just over from us 7. Yes 7 times. Even when we were finished our meal it was almost 15mins before she came to get our dishes (which was just a pan because we had no plates. I asked for another drink. 10mins later she came with the bill and no drink. We weren't even asked if we wanted dessert. The wife and I will not be back here. It's a shame because the big crave was quite good. Despite having no plates.

My wife and I went there for lunch and were very disappointed. The server was very friendly and attentive, the restaurant and bathrooms were clean, but the food was terrible. We got chicken na'an sandwiches that were soggy and sloppily made, my side of fries were not cooked/extremely soggy, and my wife's salad was soggy/had stale croutons like it had been made the day before. For over 30$ it was a terrible lunch. The place only had 3 other tables being served at the time, not like they were swamped. I would not recommend, take your hard earned money elsewhere.

We went here for lunch the other day and the food was really good. The price was affordable and the waitress was very nice.

Waitress was absolutely wonderful, food was great and the kitchen went above and beyond to fix a small issue that they noticed before it came out to the table.

Excellent stuffed crust pizza! Cold refreshing beer! Great service and friendly wait staff! What more could you ask for!?

Ordered 2 pizzas and a garlic fingers. 1 pizza was cheese and pepperoni and the other one was the works. Ended up with a vegie pizza instead of the works.

Toppings were sparse, sauce was just a color change on the crust. Thinly applied and ketchup tasting. No parmesan on the tables. Server was very nice and friendly.

The food was quite good although it seemed a little slow in coming. Overall it was a good experience.

We went as a family on labor Day. I'm thankful however should have been closed, or the owner present!

There's five of us, two with celiacs (gluten bad).

I ordered a coffee and a water, they forgot cream and sugar, I reminded our waiter who brought those but no spoon.

The gf garlic fingers were greasy, but edible.

The seafood pizza I ordered was undercooked in the middle, the presentation was just nasty, they shred all of the ingredients and serve it like kind of a chowder on pizza! I would expect at that price point the seafood to be clearly visible and identifiable.

The kids cat pizza was cute and good for the kids.

I wouldn't recommend this place

Have to be careful where they sit you if you happen to be a larger size. Some of the buffet items were cold; however, any food off the menu have been wonderful.

Wonderful meal. We had a family of 7 and the service was fantastic. Everything was piping hot and the staff even navigated the kids "I want chocolate milk but I ordered orange juice" meltdown. We will be back for sure!

I did a 2 week job placement at pizza delite new Glasgow and the staff were amazing so nice and talkative so easy to get along with the cook Kevin was so cool he talked about his life and we connected and the restaurant in it self we so clean and nice and the manager really shows what a good manager is supposed to be he was there everyday and was really nice he showed me a couple things along the way and Mary she was so nice and a good worker thank you for such a good 2 weeks it couldn't have been better.

Not bad place to eat buffet was decent.miss the all u can eat bread toasting station.it was the one unique thing this place had going for it.

My family and I decided we would try Pizza Delight in New Glasgow as they had new owners. Never again. It was horrible customer service. When I sent in my complaint, I received an unprofessional email requesting my telephone number to discuss the situation, which I did send promptly, only to never receive a call (which I suspected from the unprofessional email).
When we arrived, there were only 5-6 tables seated, one of which left before we even had menus. The waitress was polite at first, but once she delivered our order (which wasn't entirely correct), we never saw her again. We had finished eating and 25 mins after we were done eating she finally did come back. When I had told her our order wasn't correct, she developed an attitude.
Dessert was ordered, we ate it, had our coats on and sat there waiting another 20 minutes and the waitress never came back. Meanwhile she passed our table several times taking other customers their food and bills. I ended up having to go up to the counter to get my bill. When I stated I was unhappy with the service and should not have had to go to the counter to get my bill, I was ignorantly told "that's how it works". I'm sorry any other restaurant I've been to, they bring you the bill. And funny she could bring the bill and debit machine to the other tables. We won't be back.

Wanted to try the restaurant since it was supposedly better. Most of the pizzas in the buffet were donair. The pasta choices were dry and had been sitting there for a while. All in all, not really worth the price for the buffet.

Went to this restaurant with family for the very first time and I can easily say 2 things - it will be for the last and hands down, one of the worsts In dining experience ever.
Had to wait 45 mins to get the order & no it wasn't busy, there were may be 2-3 tables with a couple of people at each table (all we ordered was an appetizer & 2 dinner dish) when I went to check up on the order post the 45 mins, couldn't find anyone so hung around the front of the counter & saw the server coming out of the kitchen talking on the phone so I got the hand signals & finally she said she will have someone else run the food out to us because she was busy fixing a problem with the debit machine. 5 mins later the cook comes out with 2 orders of food (the appetizer & 1 dinner dish) only for us to taste & find out that it was cold & full of grease, rice was stuck together & turned soggy & into lumpy balls, chicken skillet was not sizzling hot like it's supposed to be & overly sweet & didn't have the tossed sauce we asked for. When we told the cook about all that he said he will bring fresh plate of appetizer, little did we know, other than the garlic breads everything else on the appetizer plate was reheated & of course overcooked even burnt. For apology, we got excuses that there was only 1 server and 1 cook running the restaurant.
We couldn't even finish one full portion/plate of food, just Tried bits & pieces. Paid for the food in full. It was already too late to go eat somewhere else. Anyway, thanks but no thanks!

Me and my family just recently ate there. The Donair sauce they gave us was like water, the salad my wife got had soggy bread for croutons, burned bacon and so much sauce on it that it was just gross.

Been a few years since I've been able to enjoy se Greco. I was not disappointed at all. Thnk you for the great deal and AMAZING FOOD!

Ordered the chicken parmesan, it was served a little cold but the waiter heated it up no problem.

Awesome pizza and our waitress was super awesome I will come again next time I visit for sure and will recommend to all my friends.

Food was excellent and the service was great as well. A great spot to meet with friends, family or even for a business meeting.

Got a delivery menu from them the other day, spent time browsing their delivery options; finally decided and called them and they told me they don't actually do delivery.
Thanks for wasting my time I guess?

Atrocious customer service when placing an order for delivery.

Be prepared to double the wait time you’re told and expect to be missing 1 out of 3 items. Then expect to be told they will put you in the book for a free replacement even though you were charged and paid for it.

I’m being generous with the one star rating.

Good food, friendly staff. One of the only places left in New Glasgow with any kind of buffet (if you were looking). Prices/deals on their regular menu are not dirty cheap, but not expensive either. You leave full and happy with the food. As mentioned above, the lunch buffet is always a treat if you have a group of people and looking for a place to dine in.
